The app fixed being able to order online. However, do not trust it's location feature. since it is off by over 10 km or 6 miles. So you could be next to a AW and it will send your order to a store on the otherside of town. There is no way to undo it and there is no customer service for this company. The form you fill out goes nowhere and you do not get any response.
Payments stopped working. Gpay used to work now nothing works. Credit cards don't get saved.
This app is terrible. I try using a gift card and there is no options to load it. I want to use the coupons in the restaurant without loading my credit card, nope, won't let me do that either. Whoever designed this app seriously need to look at other restaurants for reference. I wish they went back to the old school coupons online:: Updated (2026): Nothing has changed, they added promotions section but nothing ever shows up. No coupons, no social media promotions. Terrible

Keep getting "unauthorized" errors when I try to pay... but it did eventually go through. the next day, it won't let me pay at all; "something went wrong". I'm less and less enthusiastic about this app. now the app has decided a month later that I am outside of its service area, despite having two A&w locations nearby. I am done with this app.

It has been 3 months now, that the app stopped working, showing "Oops, something went wrong" error on almost every screen. A few months ago, it started getting really slow. I can't use my points, nor make any purchase. Please fix.

Error code at checkout/order. Auth error or something. Tried multiple fixes, but lost patience 30 mins trying to order. I guess McDonalds will take my money instead. Cya A&W.

Very bad experience. things added to the cart can't be seen, had to force quit and do multiple times to get it to work.

Stopped working!!! Are you ever going to fix your app? I will uninstall your app and not look back. Do better or risk losing what little market share you have.

This garbage app NEVER has coupons!!! If there are coupons, it's for a coffee. I don't drink coffee, so this app is completely useless to me. A&W is already extremely expensive for what it is, and you have to go and be cheap and not give us any deals.
Change location features is tricky to use. thought I changed the address, placed an order, came to pick it up, realized that I sent to order 15km away?? no CS to call

Horrible app. I would give it zero stars if I could. What is the point of submitting a password only to wait 2 minutes for a verification code. And when you enter the code it is not valid. Waste of time. Just go in and order from the counter. Or find some other place to eat. Uninstalling.
Terrible app! Cannot use coupons through the app (its too busy to go in store and waste my lunch break waiting for food) and when I try paying with my credit card, and error every time. Tried using the app a few months ago and same issue. I've never been able to place an order. We will not order unless there are coupons available

Deleted app in first five minutes. Garbage. Everything these days wants a login. each restaurant doesn't need or deserve their own login, or connecting your email to them. it's just idiotic. the government should make it illegal for all these companies to collect data on you, then we'll see how much you need a login for every single damn store. can't even see coupons without logging in. back again and still same garbage. maybe I should choose different restaurant from now on.
Coupons prices are almost always higher than shown. Now the app will change your locations for pickup while your moving.
I recently stopped in along the 401 on route , at Mallorytown Ont. westbound. I went in to the A&W. What a mistake that was. It took me ten minutes to get a order of chicken stripe, a order of Onion rings, and a drink. it was cool , all the manager said her was sorry. Here's the kicker, I had to go down to Subway to get my drink. It wasn't even A&W root beer which I had my heart set on, and it cost me $23.72. I would not recommend this A&W, if you are hungry go to Tim Hortons.

The app no longer let's you choose the pickup location. I can't see prices or food options as a result. Utterly broken app.
Keep updating my expired card, the app lets me save it, but it's never actually updated so I can't order anything.
Never has any good deals. On the rare moments I've seen a coupon you have to order through the app to use it. Why not give us the coupons you mail out in the app? Staff never remember to ask for the app for points. Giving away your data for literally nothing.
There are never any deals/offers in Saskatchewan. if I change my location to Ontario then I have access to offers! What's even the point?
App allows orders to be placed when stores are closed/unable to make orders. IT charges credit cards and uses points automatically without confirmation from the restaurant, and there's no way to contact a support person at A&W to get a refund except by filling out a "survey". From what other reviewers have stated - actually getting a refund and points credit is unlikely. Extremely poor business practices.

Horrible app, very behind the times as it always says we are cooking up deals but the only thing usually there is a mama combo for $7.00.

*Updated* still doesn't work for pickup orders. For some reason it does work for delivery. Fix your app!

app let's me add food to the order but refuses to work for checkout. It's a terrible experience.
I bought a buddy burger ate it and felt sick got home and vomited 5 times called to complain but they just gave excuses and lied about how it was made. I tried to call their Main office to complain about the location I went to but only got a voice mail that didn't help. I will NEVER eat at A&W again.
the app takes your money but sends the order to the wrong store. they refuse to refund or help. if you order in Halifax, it could go to Edmonton. If you contact them to resolve it, they basically tell you to*$&# off and keep your $$.
prices go up. less deals and coupons. $6 for onion rings. corporate greed at its finest. in the offers section there is never any offers and it just says we're cooking up offers check back again later. it has said this since I installed it way back.
