Useless notification and Junk
Since the app update in April, app crashes multiple times per hour. skip it
Won't login, it just spins after entering email and password. I have the newest version and tried to uninstall and reinstall, still the same thing.
Darryl, Getting nowhere with support. Can earn rewards, but unable to redeem them from day one. Have been a member since Nov 2025. Several calls to Rewards Team each time telling me they'll escalate the matter. Have missed opportunities to get gift cards for points and for other discounts. Unable to redeem anything. There is no follow up by email showing that anyone is really trying to resolve this and no resolution in sight, AARP Now please help. This issue exists both on app and website.

AD FRIENDLY NOT SENIOR FRIENDLY APP AND WEBSITE! 12/2012 Every time I wanted to look at a benefit I was forced to sign in repeatedly! I finally have enough money to redeem a benefit cannot get to the benefit page because it keeps logging me out!! 😠 Perhaps I need to cancel my subscription: Impossible to redeem benefits! Places accepting AARP also accept my VA 3/2025 I can join or renew, but not sign in. ZERO STARS! if you want my money, switch back to being senior friendly. Tried again no good.
I paid the$39 dollars for the 2 years and they taken the money from my account and didn't give me a damn thing.the aarpis a scam.
no discounts or savings for seniors under 65. what am I paying for? spam? can't save on travel and I work having to commute. no free gift before I had an account and cancelled renewed still no gift. I needed discounts not spam and blogs that do not apply to me or help me I. anyway. I feel after repeatedly mailing and emails to join it would be a benefit...but no. useless
im not giving aarp a 1 star because I have had it for a year and a half and haven't used it one time, or their benefits. im giving 1 star because theres no way to cancel my subscription on the app , and the bot message says cancil my subscription is too hard of a question and have to wait for business hours.
difficult to navigate. lots of ads even for members.
This is a terrible app some events are premium and then they remove them.So I go there trying to get into some sort of premium event , and I can't even find it. so in general , I don't keep this installed because it's only to try and get you hooked up with scam companies that are trying to sell you life insurance because you're old or others, so-called deals and offers, which are all terrible.No good deals here and that's why the membership is so cheap.

there are quite a few technical issues with the app that doesnt make for easy navigation which is ironic since the app is geared towards older adults
I LOVE the daily articles. However, the pop-up notifications, telling you about the featured articles are not there at least 50% of the time. You ARE directed to the AARP site, but the stories advertised are NOT there!! While there are plenty of other articles to read, I choose based on the teasers & then find myself disappointed & irritated. I don't know why this happens, but I'd be grateful if it could be fixed.
AARP Has a bad communication. I became a member and I suppose to receive a card ,never did. I tried to get into online its all complicated to do so. not happy. 😡
