Very buggy with the Apple TV version saying 'unable to play the video' most of the time. only good for watching QI reruns. you have to sign into the app but when you select a new show it plays the latest season. so if you don't pay attention you end up watching season 3 of a new series. why sign in at all. no information in shows and no easy way to go back to an episode list.

Installed several times but get black screen after login
Who's watching? Who's watching? Need a setting to stay logged in and not constantly ask for a profile, especially if there's only one. Only works in portrait mode, but any normal person watches in landscape so have to flip phone back and forth every time you switch shows. Ads have now been added for their own service and are obnoxious due to not knowing if they'll appear or not and whether you can just pick your show and sit back or watch it or click and skip the same ad you've seen 20 times.
As I got no response from ABC and ACMA. I was forced to comment here, ABC should remove from the news website the words ", Everyone is talking about" when this claim is false and impossible to happen so why claim it.

This app is useless!! I try to log in and then the screen goes blank . I try to log into support, same thing . I try to make a new account? What do you know, same problem. I have deleted the app and reinstalled it. No change ! No Help Because you log into the system !!

This really is a poorly written app. No double tap to seek. No skip intro button. I can't even see an obvious way to go to another episode in a series. No issue with content, if only it was easily viewable.
Complete garbage now, most recent update not working on Samsung, just spins. Need to reboot TV each time I want to watch it and then after an hour it stalls again. Have video of it if developers even bother reading reviews. Samsung Model QA75.
I really don't want to watch the same Australian Story of Ida 15 times until this app finally stops adding it to Continue Watching. Please get your senior software engineer to test THEN release a new version. Your viewers deserve better.
Does not care about internet security. over the weekend I connected to the accommodation WiFi to cast my screen to the TV. I use a well known vpn when I connect to WiFi for obvious reason. Iconnected to the tv but low and behold, I'm blocked on iview for being outside the country. Surely my account activity would indicate I live in Australia. But forcing the public to jeopardise their own security is acceptable. I'm in Australia. I'm Australian. I pay taxes that fund Aunty. gimme access
the app is very slow to open and switching between stories (in app content) is also very slow.
Does not play contents on Nvidia Shield: starts properly and shows all content, but refuses to play anything. Fails after around 20sec of trying to load any movie with the error "something went wrong...". Nvidia Shield updated, iview updated, powered off and on many times - still no good. ABC iview works fine on my Android tablets and phones, but NOT on Nvidia Shield.
somehow despite the fact that literally the ONLY thing I put on to watch is Bluey, I literally have to manually search the title EVERY single time because it keeps getting removed from continue watching and the app doesn't seem to even at least have any sort of intuition to ever suggest it anywhere on the homepage. very annoying
iView App continually freezes on my Tablet (Samsung SM-930) and have had to resort to accessing/logging in to iView via the web ..... App works OK on my mobile (Galaxy 25 Ultra+) .... Given that others seems to have the same problem obviously there is a tech problem the ABC engineers have so far failed to identify..... disappointing as iView has quality programs that are not natched by the ABC App.....
First time I've ever had a streaming service not work.
I'd giv 5 stars, unfortunately U don't hav "Picture In Picture" mode iView. It's helpful 4 me in other apps wen I can't use tv or chromecast. I need my devices 2 multitask but iView has no PIP meaning U miss out on hrs of my time & usage. I really hope you'l add PIP in iView soon. Also the app keeps signing me out while I'm using it, goten worse since last update, it's such a huge inconvenience. Also it seems discriminative PIP only 4 iOS devices not android devices, bit sic of excuses 2BH!
just won't let me watch anything because it thinks I am outside of the country? If you make a mobile app surely it should work on a mobile phone!
Logging in issues since the last update. Every time I start the app, it asks me to login, I login, it will either give me a blank white screen, the login pages again, or will let me choose the account for watching to just go back to the login page again. I've uninstalled and then reinstalled the app, restarted my device, and checked for updates, but nothing works. The app has becom3 completely useless

There is no way to reset password so I can't login to other devices until that's fixed. Tech is BS in 2026, I'm almost done with it and I was once a massive tech head.
Can't watch iview 'Picture-in-picture' on Android (like you can on iOS). Who has time to only watch the news and not be multi tasking this activity. Please fix this ABC
ABC iView app on most devices is great 5/5. But the version available on Chromecast is not the same. When listing episodes there is never a full description, only 3 short lines ending in... plenty of space on screen for a larger text box but too lazy to do the job properly.
I selected the PiP function for this app on my Samsung S23 Ultra, but it closes to a floating icon when I go to use other apps. I love ABC and would watch it more often if it stayed open like YouTube, Netflix and Stan etc which automatically play in a little window if I have other stuff to do on my phone. Please can this be changed? RESPONSE: Thanks ABC 😌. I've got a new issue. There is no skip forward & back button when watching a show.😢
on the nvidia shield this was amazing until several months ago. even if you have 300mbps internet it will constantly buffer and load, stopping every half a second as it goes through all the resolutions. then if your child manages to endure this the second video will load fine. until 30 min later after shower time when it stops and they have to endure this all over again. it takes like a whole episode of pepa or bluey to get started. even using a VPN I face the same issues. bring back DVD

buggy. especially on the tv. random shows keep vanishing off 'continue watching' and won't play more than an episode or two at a time. I've tried clearing cache and deleting/reinstalling but doesn't fix it. friends have been having the same issue as me. if this got fixed I'd be very happy with it
