Find a better way to maximize profit than collecting and selling data. Data collection from subscribers using adblock and painting giant, intrusive ads seem to have taken up all the time previously dedicated to app maintenance and quality control.
The accuracy of the forecasts is pathetic. it has forecast rain and severe weather that never occurs. The radar data is usually wrong and the hourly forecast is a joke. i decided to give this app another try. it's now May 2026. it's still terrible. incorrect radar data and very unreliable forecasts. Not worth my time and money.
Used to be a fantastic app. they shitified it with ads and now it is a slow hard to read data mining machine. Sad.

RESET PHONE, Repeat, EVERYTIME I open the app. I rate the ad situation, therefore, I also rate the app at minus -1 trillion. I now carry a digital thermometer for temperature of where I'm at, or the weather conditions. YES OLD SCHOOL, YET WORKS FOR $3.99, which is SO much better than free app. since I last installed this app, every update, every ad breaks the app. Michael E. Wilson, PhD.
Used to be pretty good. I have a paid account and often, the app reverts back the free edition. The fix? Uninstall and reinstall. I have to do that once a month. Seems like a significant bug.
Better just to look out of the window.
not so accurate for my country country: Bangladesh also no option for feedback or report weather so you can fix the weather forecast
App is broken in so many ways I cannot type it all up here. it has a lot of great features like Arthritis and Migraines predictions but it needs too much work. Things constantly break or do not work. It is such a great app they ruin in delivery. Oh and the ads are better. but that is about it.
I'm over this app... not only has it become grossly incorrect, I probably lost a ton of seed because we were supposed to get .02" to .05" of rain and it was going to be 68°, but in reality it has been raining nonstop for 14 hours now and it's only 47°
This app is useless. It told me "rain in 3 minutes, no precipitation"

why only 2 hours ahead on the radar?? Weather channel gives 8!!!. you can plan your day with them. It's not rocket science, it's just satellite weather. And it's your only job. Texas could have used 8hr future radar. :( fancy Dark mode isn't going to help. WHY DON'T YOU ADD MORE FORWARD TIME TO THE RADAR? (no one cares about 3 hours in the past) the data is there, the weather channel uses it, why can't you? and why did it look like kindergarten Minecraft time?!
this app has become overridden with pop-up ads. they have fake x's on them to try to get out of them and then it takes you to some other site where you can't get out of it. this thing is out of control I'm deleting it. I'm sure I can find a less invasive weather app it used to be good but now it is just full of popups

I've been an AccuWeather app user and even a proponent for many years. I find the useful for checking daily and hourly weather but lately I'm seeing too many annoying ads which look more like malware. Like ads urging you to click on install button to update your PDF reader.

accuweather says it's 64 F but it's actually 87 F. This is unusable
I used to love this app. the UI was pretty solid and the forecasting was usually pretty good too. now you cant even get to see the weather through the barage of ads it throws in your face. and no, you cant slip them... they are timed ads. so if you like a new timed ad thrown in your face every time to click to a different view then this app is great. if you want to check the weather then this app sucks now unfortunately

I have used this app on all of my phone and tablet devices. I don't know what the makers have done with updates or whatever, but now I have the Samsung A14 phone. the app weather loads slow, it won't show the weather in notification, it won't connect the weather feature to my Android smartwatch. text app has got to be where it is useless. IT IS TOTAL A**. I am glad I did not pay for any of the features.
Been using it for years and loved it. but recent updates ruined the user experience. The app was on a black screen for ages and unusable for 4 out of 5 times. Tried reinstalling and got stuck in a while screen after the onboarding screens. Frustrated.. disappointed.. uninstalled!
Danger! The free version places dangerous ads that suggest damaging the phone and the need to update it, redirecting to unknown websites.
previously was good. on the recent update you are no longer can view night forecast in daily column. hey we are not desperate. there hundreds more apps can provide better features. UNINSTALL
I am reporting a serious and repeated inaccuracy issue in AccuWeather for Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh (India). The app frequently shows rainfall even when there is no rain on the ground. I am physically present at the location and can confirm that the displayed weather conditions are often incorrect. This is not a one-time problem-it has been happening repeatedly. Even when the weather changes, the app does not update accordingly, which raises serious concerns about the reliability of its real-time

used to be good. not anymore. accuracy is questionable almost every time. constant notifications for things that are not weather related, way too many ads. no longer a good app to receive weather updates.
most inaccurate and unreliable weather app I have had the displeasure of using. Being off by 10° on a daily basis and calling for rain all day on days without a cloud in the sky is ridiculous. Especially with the technology available. Weather Channel did a better job 30yrs ago.
Unusable for me, no option for m/s wind speed and both km/h and mph mean nothing to me. Seems like a huge oversight for an app with the single focus of displaying the weather.
The app straight up doesn't work. It has a screen telling me I can change permissions any time, the only button to click is "next" which opens the settings app. I have tried changing the permissions over and over again but every time I come back to the app, nothing has changed. It's completely broken. EDIT: to reply to the developer, I can't uninstall. It's one off the apps the phone came with. Fix your app.

I demand an immediate overhaul to a fully transparent UI with real-time, location-based 3D animations that reflect actual weather conditions. You must implement a dual-tier system: a Premium version with Ads to unlock the full 3D experience, and an Ad-Free version restricted to static images. unable to dismiss the always on notification. I've added widget, which is enough for me. or I will open the app whenever I need to know the weather. STOP DRAINING MY BATTERY. Also don't force user to share location, I can set location by typing also, right? Uninstalling... I can use website instead.
I've finally deleted this app after years of use. It's total and complete garbage now. Full screen ads with fake 'x' boxes so you end up clicking into the ad which can't be closed for 5 to 10 seconds. Constantly pushing their subscriptions... we don't need a subscription to a weather app...I've just bookmarked my weather now from the NWS.
