The whole app is cluttered with what look like ads & it just looks chaotic. I couldn't find a categories section or even a search button anywhere. Trash. Website works much better.

It's pretty sad when closing down and reopening an application leads to the loss of earned rewards. I had 10 dollars worth of rewards (two five dollar coupons) which I was planning to use with my purchase at my local Ace Retailer location. When I arrived to the store and was in line for the register, my $10 was suddenly gone. This app has major problems with how clunky it is and never have I had the issue of rewards expiring just because I opened and closed an application.
this app will not work at all
all it does is sit waiting for it to load. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app and it's the same thing.
the search feature is horrible, i put in "milwaukee insulatedscrewdriver" at local stores, redults are drills, saws, drill bits other brands then after loading more then they show me what I was looking for. Ace rewards are not valid for Milwaukee packouts, the rewards are worthless and so is the app. if I could give a rating of -4 stars I would

I am unable to sign up for the mobile app. My last name is the same as a first name so the app doesn't recognize it as a valid last name and therefore won't let me sign up. The customer care chat (AI) "doesn't understand" my question, so I can go no farther. Horrible service!

This app doesn't open! I have uninstalled and re-installed multiple times over several months with time in-between. Very frustrating when I live within 2 blocks of a store. My business then goes elsewhere.
Unusable
This was an okay app until the past week; now all it shows upon opening is a spinning clock. I'm back to using the website... Prior to becoming a "brick" app, it had a major flaw; the app lacked the ability to edit search strings. Unlike 98% of online retailers, if one searches for an item using this app and decides to add or modify a term, one has to return to the home screen and enter an entirely new search string. How is it a company the size of Ace Hardware fails WEB101?

This app and their website is garbage. Tried linking my rewards many times in many ways and it fails every time. Tried searching for something I knew they had and the search came up with no results. UPDATE! Still will not let me connect my Rewards even though it says that they found me.

downloaded app. app will not open past ace opening page where its the logo with a red background with the spinning wheel of death. uninstalled, reinstalled 3 times. same issue.
app will show "sponsored" items when you are looking for a specific tool that have nothing to do with your search criteria. If ace makes it difficult to shop on the app I'll take my business elsewhere.
garbage app. it forces you to have your devices location on to use it. no way to leave it off. Will uninstall and go to home depot
Prodduct search shows products not available at store and not availble for delivery. Constantly auto logs me out, forcing me to go through the login process. Doesn't remember the store I set so constantly have to reset the store. The app is just a pain to use. GIANT WASTE OF TIME USING IT.

I hope this app was made by AI because if it was actual developers they should all be fired. terrible search function, glitchy interface, constantly offers me stuff that isn't actually available, coupons don't apply correctly, never remeber my home store (sets my home store to a different state each time) and the cart isn't accurate. this app needs an update asap.
Really,,, so sick and tired of not being able to connect for my reward offers and coupons.... about 80% of the time, a failed connection at or withen the store.. somtimes wonder why it's installed any more Really... changed 5 star to a solid 1 star. Just fix it please!😣

My local Ace has the best staff. Knowledgeable and willing to help me with all my home project needs. Conversely the Ace mobile app is the worst.

If you apply a reward to your order and the store cancels your order, there is no way to restore the reward to your account. All you get is a meaningless, "sorry for the inconvenience."
I don't need my location turned on, I have my store saved. so I tell the app, no do not turn on my location. But the app doesn't care. Will not let you past the " turn on location" screen. Why force it? I'll just uninstall it instead.

app is bogus. you can never trust the in-store inventory counts to be accurate, and recently they stopped including as many $5 off of $20 codes. pair that w being super expensive and I only go there for bird seed.
Decent App, but slow. Searching is slow and clunky. prices show as one price and will switch when you view the item directly. I love Ace, but the app needs some help.
