This is the second time this app gives me problems to connect my AX5 purifier in the last 3 years, this after an AEG app update. Update that forces me to reconfigure/ add my AX5 in this app. But now my 2.4 ghz is not reconized anymore. All my other equipement old or new sees my 2.4 ghz wifi but this AX5 is not, it shows plenty other from my neighborhood, funny but annoying. It worked okay for the last year and now this app is useless, very unsatisfied again.

Edit: Would give zero stars if possible. Latest update has caused a spam of timer reminders, which the feature doesn't even work. The app has started to say the portable air conditioner is "unavailable" even though it is running and the network is fine. Would be nice if this got fixed and it became more reliable again. At times, if you change a setting in the app, it doesn't send it to the portable air conditioner and "reverts" back to what it was.
Not really useful, very limited functionality. Tried using the notifications for oven timer, completely useless, one notification of imminent expiry arrived via the app over an hour after the actual oven timer expired!
Every time this app is updated it loses connection with my washer dryer and I have to go through all the messing about to pair them again. When it's working it is good but too temperamental when updated.
Useless. Nebaví mě, pořád blbne, ukazuje běžící program, i když už skončil, ukazuje zařízení offline, a tak dále. Pokus o nastavení programu z aplikace - vždy se záhadně hned přepne zpět na to, co bylo aktuálně na pračce nastaveno. Nastavení AutoDose končí "Něco se pokazilo".
I want to update my review. The app is completely unusable, and the support is just as bad. I have never seen such a poorly functioning app from AEG. Save yourself the frustration and do not buy their products. To developer: Your support doesn't help me at all.
Air con timers have been unusable in the app for way too long. "We're sorry; we're experiencing issues with this feature. Our engineers are working to fix it as soon as possible."

svi segmenti su krajnje losi ideja je u redu a realizacija jedva da prolazi. radi 4 tjedna top model probkemi sa svim od buke autodose blokada aqbstop etd. vrhunac je kada je stavis na ispiranje a ona uzme deterdzent
I don't have wifi as I use my mobile device only. The app may well be great but I can't use it at all. I only need my washing machine to wash my clothes. I don't want to see what it's doing from a remote location. The app would be useful for me if it operated mobile device to machine without needing a separate wifi connection in addition to a bluetooth connection. If there is a way to do this, please let me know. No automatic but informationless post is a legitimate answer.
Only a single user? Is this driven by mysogony or ineptitude? can you not grasp that whomever turns oven on should get the notifications? I have many £20 items in our home with multiple accounts and users, but not £700+ aeg This is a shocking oversight in your latest greatest and most expensive line. I wish I had saved thousands and not bothered with WiFi ovens. edit, obviously an AI response as it popped up instantly. "explore the app" the only options in preferences are two ways to buy stuff.
Today the app has no idea what the vaccum robot is doing. It knows the battery level but 1 does not know which rooms it cleaned,2 how many m2 it cleaned, 3 shows changing stats. In fact it has no idea what is going on. The app is quite slow in response and feedback. It is not very user friendly and does not show much helpfull information about the bot and it's curious behavior. The cleaned surface map does not compare to the cleaned surface. some software improvements are needed.
There is no more delayed start in the app for the dishwasher. Wifi connectivity is disaster. Dishwasher connected to wifi, in menu it says great signal, app shows it is offline. App needs to be started before the machine. Then it works... sometimes.
Lasst ihr diese Software von irgendeiner KI viben oder was ist das? Die halbe Zeit redet die Waschmaschine gar nicht mit der App und ich kriege Benachrichtigungen zB erst Tage später. Dann brauche ich auch keinen Knitterschutz mehr. Der lässt sich sowieso eig. nie aktivieren. Auch der Start-Button ist praktisch nie aktiv, obwohl sich das Programm einwandfrei übertragen lässt. Wenn die Firmware der Maschine genau so zusammengehackt ist, nehm ich sie besser vom Netz, da holt man sich ja sonstwas!

EDIT: Despite their "escalation" (I got a reply from them the next day), the issue is still unresolved and we are back to square one. I'm pondering consulting my Consumer Advocate. The app worked for literally a week or two with our washing machine, then the machine stopped connecting to the router and any attempts to set up again, ended up with error ECPW007. I contacted the Polish customer support a month ago, both by phone and email and I still haven't gotten any solution.
How is it possible that I can't add people to my home. First it took me forever to connect to my goddamn dryer (had to even buy network extender to do it, because apparently the wifi module on the latest 9000 series is weak) then it turns out I can't add my wife to the home and now I have to go through the hassle AGAIN.
if you add Steam to your washing cycle... it is impossible to finish/stop program remotely from app. it's become a never-ending program

Very limited. For instance, you can't use it to start the dryer mode of a washer-dryer after the washing mode is over. It's just to get notifications saying your clothes will smell bad and become wrinkly, as if I didn't know. If I need to go to the machine in person, what's the point of an app on my phone?
App has a bug that makes it only remember what settings a washer dryer had when the app was opened. If the app changes wash mode setting to anything else, the app immediately forgets this and assumes the setting is still the initial one. This makes it impossible to add current settings to favourites without turning the app off and on again. Please fix this bug. Edit: Lowering review to one star due to AEG AI auto-response. Also found AEG notifications useless as they are late by about an hour
Notifications are usually more than 30 min late. Menu selections jumps and selections can be lost multiple times. This is literally the worst app you can think of. Wastes your time and does not work.
So you buy AEG appliance (washer), you download the app, you complete rather painful setup process, much more complicated than it should be and you start using the app. You use it for a few months, then suddenly something changes, you open one day the application and there is nothing in it. It wants you to log again and after that you have no appliances in the app. All your data and setup are lost and it asks you to do it all over again. Not a chance, deleting app, won't use it again.

Most of the dishwasher settings can only be selected on the app. However, when I select a set of settings, it always reverts them back to ECO after 5 seconds
Cant add device. The oven connects to my WiFi but the AEG app says is not connected and process stops Edit: I got a reply from the developer to contact support, but the link doesn't work on voth android and chrome desktop. EDIT 2 Tried again after few months but still nothing. I received error ECPA005

Very poor, unable to even log into the app to start. Can never get past preferred name page. Exited app, deleted and reinstalled app. Still poor

In general, this app is a pain to use for expats, because it is intentionally geofenced to Europe. If you move to Europe and have a non-EU Gmail account you can't install it. I wish I didn't buy this brand! After I went through the pain to setup a new profile in my phone with a new EU Gmail account, it still doesn't work. It doesn't connect to my washing machine or dryer, and the wifi connection menu (that doesn't work) is incredibly convoluted, any other appliances are trivial to connect.
Ability to select drying mode like denim and starting the program from app worked in the past. Now selecting denim does not stick, it always switching back after a few seconds to eco or mix (whatever the dial shows). Can't start the program from the app. It's stupid enough that I need to push the app control button on the dryer, now it's not even working after that. Seems like we're going backwards
AEG seem to have gone out of their way to make it nigh on impossible to change the wifi credentials for my washing machine. Having installed a new router I no longer have remote access to my machine. 'Failed to connect' is the answer at every single turn. Edit: Had to reinstall app twice in last few months as it just drops my appliances and will not reconnect without a clean install. Unreliable app clearly in need of many refinements even when it does work.

It is pretty bad. While it seems easy to use. The washing machine rarely takes over the actual settings chosen in the app. Pretty frustrating to load settings, start the washing machine and see it is doing something completely different. and some functions can only be controlled through the app. There is no trust that is working either. Oh last thing, how in the year 2025 can I only delay washing in whole hours. I wrongly assumed the app would give some more freedom for that.
Hard to connect and no Bluetooth alternative as indicated. Even worse is that the appliance does allow for full functionality without the app.
AX91 air purifier. App works well when connected but constantly 'forgets' the device, meaning I have to add it again. Every. Single. Day. How difficult is it make an app that connects to a device? Won't be buying any more AEG products.
The app needs to stop notifying me every 5 mins about the time left on the wash cycle of my washing machine. or at least give an option to turn off that type of notification! I'll update to 5 stars when you sort that out. It's driving me nuts.
The App does allow to at a certain level control your washing machine but it's functionality is a bare minimum. It is clearly that AEG does not renew the way you interact with appliances in this modern age. Setup of my particular machine (7000 series lavamat) is a hassle. Added funtonalit is some extra washing programs that's it! Not even an improvement on start holdoff. Only 30mins, 1hr...20hrs... Perhaps limited by the machine itself? No easy way to set it to start when price is the lowest...

Finger weg von AEG! Not Smart at all and especially not for the home. Integrations are completeley missing for each and every kind of smart home and "remote" control needs to be enabled at the machine - EVERY SINGLE TIME. That means I can't start the machine on the go, I need to power the machine, need to wait until the machine connected, enable the phone control and then can control the machine from the phone (but only as long as the machine is running it turns itself off after a few minutes
This is a terrible app. Whenever I want to turn the oven on remotely it doesn't want to do it.
Since last update the tasks aren't opening on the app and schedule tasks don't work on my air con. PLEASE FIX
Worst user experience. Changes the program by itself, have to restart regularly, difficult to get the machine online.

I have had my AEG air-conditioner for almost three years now, and it has just not connecting to my WiFi. I have deleted the app and reinstalled and still not connecting. This product should have come with a remote in case the WiFi stopped working. Called customer services and was told there is nothing they can do, but the fault is on their side.
