Abysmal customer service experience. A useless AI chatbot and support agents that juggle you between "teams" that all don't have the tools to address my issue. miss their own return window and opt for a CHECK IN MAIL option. I am paying interest waiting for this and there were apparently steps they skipped before going for a check by mail. I wouldn't know I received no correspondence until it was too late. I contacted that email you suggested and they brushed me aside.

cannot sign into my account after using code from phone number, keeps bringing me sign up page but when I click already have an account it loops me back to phone number and code page.

If you attempt to purchase an item but for some reason there's a mismatch between the price of the transaction and the card from affirm the transaction will be declined. fair enough, however, Affirm still charges your personal Debit or CC . In my case this occurred but Affirm never bothered to inform me that the charge to my CC was still there and they didn't initiate a refund. My other complaint, horrible AI and Affirm is CLOSED ON WEEKENDS. The CEO doesn't care. Affirm rated 4.8, it's lying!
FIX YOUR LOGIN! Both app and website formats just make me login over and over without getting anywhere.

I have had many loans with this company, never missed a payment, never late but they hassle you about purchases with certain companies, you can never get ahold of them. It's easy to get, the cost is reasonable but they never explain why they won't help you even when you are an exceptional customer. They say you can spend x amount but what they don't tell you is that most companies that are listed, will not deal with them.
Deny away, it's okay, I own you anyways.
This app is a prime example of a one star rating due to their hollow moral standard when it comes to helping people who have poor credit, to be able to purchase items, they couldn't, otherwise. This app claims to want to help people when, in fact, they just shut people down. It's not a route I would recommend for anybody who's trying to receive help purchasing items that are either necessity or a want. I feel sorry for this app. Because the future speaks for itself. May this app in peace
6/25/26 still a piece of crapt service. over 30 completed contracts with no late payments and you've cut my funds to nothing. You really have taken a good service and screwed it all up. No longer a 5 star recommendation. Despite having so many accounts that multiple payments come out every week, on time and the balance dropping rapidly, somehow, all my available funds have disappeared.
I have never had an issue with getting into my account and now I can't even get a code to get in. Neither calls or texts will send me a code and it's infuriating cuz I have to buy 2 car seats for my son and affirm is the only way I can possibly afford it. I've called customer service and they said it was a problem with my service provider, so I called my service provider and they couldn't figure out what is going on. No one will give me answers as to why I can't get a code so that I can get in!
dont ever use affirm you cant even close the account if you dont use it I was recommended to re-download this app and I still can close this account after being forced to wait 30 days

Was approved for a payment plan, cancled the order before I was even charged for it and they still try to charge interest just for being approved. do not recommend. Not to mention you can't even contact support. you click the get support button then whatever you need help with and it sends you right back to the beginning.
I used Affirm to finance a $2,850 weight loss program that was materially different from what was represented before purchase. I submitted evidence showing post-payment disclosures, lack of direct provider involvement, and unresolved refund requests. Despite this, Affirm failed to conduct what felt like a meaningful investigation. I expected stronger consumer protection for services not delivered as represented and was disappointed by the dispute process.
Great service but SERIOUSLY charging intrest rates of a credit card....I am trying to use to get affordable work clothing and cant find an offer with 0% and have been noticing that Affirm is no longer in the business of helping people purchase what they need by spending what they can afford, rather they are making a profit off peole who cant afford to pay up front and charging intrest.I might as well just use my credit card at this point and get the benefit of that instead of paying affirm....
BEWARE, the loan was generated,, but I did NOT pay the merchant. I am now expected to pay over $200. I attempted to use the app's chat, and both "humans" ended the chat when I asked why the transaction had not been voided.
Slow to deal with fraudulent transactions. Annoying really. They repeat the same questions over and over and ask for evidence that doesn't exist BECAUSE IT WAS FRAUD!!! DUH!
they need to add an option they have the payments automatically added to calendars on the phone how to get five stars
ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!! I did a pay over time purchase. The down payment was $15.20. I canceled the pay in 4 plan and I still haven't got my $15.20 back in my bank account. ITS BEEN 2 WEEKS. Literally never using this app again! I would give it 0 stars if I could.

Once my last bill is paid. I'm dropping this creditor like a bad habit. Not FDIC insured. I don't trust it. I only took the plan offered to me by a law firm.
lowes double charged my order then reduced the price $130 and what did affirm do to fix this? they ruined my account so i cant use it after it said i was approved for another $1000.
someone was stealing money from my bank account and paying there own affirm account loan for over 5 months now. poor customer service from Affirm. now you so you will try to help. spit on you like you did me!!!

This app use to be okay. Now they give you a purchase power you go to use it and they decline it. When asked they say it is an estimate. Well they are the ones who give it to you they should be the ones to approve it. They say depends on the store.
not as well as I hoped can't really spend any money there's not much went to Temu app to purchase something end winning some 8 free gifts if I make one purchase I tried to but this app would not let me something for some $6.00 this is one of the payment ways that Temu has I still couldn't receive any of the free items this is bad I had a birthday need to withdraw it and send it to my PayPal I didn't like the controlling position it put itself in the only reason it got one star I had to post it
Well I paid all my loans. I had fallen twice. explained my situation to Affirm. They said just pay double next time. Well they won't even give me a loan , saying I don't pay on time. So im disappointed in this Company. Going to find another. WARNING
I do not like affirm, klarna is much better. klarna puts your money back on your original payment method, affirm ask me about putting my bank account on it like i am not responsible for making my payments or something. I may not be using this app anymore. took my purchase power down for no reason, I've never miss a payment or been late thumbs down
Affirm is wonderful to use for those larger more expensive purchases! UPDATE! 104 day battle with Affirm. AFFIRM FAILED TO APPLY THE $375.00 OFF A VRBO $1,500.00 PURCHASE THEY OFFERED AND I QUALIFIED FOR, MY CREDIT IS TAKING A HIT. HONOR YOUR PROMOTIONS!!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE WHO CANNOT HELP IN ANYWAY. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. Affirms customer care team is no help, ignore their response below. MONTHS of battling this $375.00 credit they owe me with MY account and credit being affected!
be careful who you order from because even tho they are approved through Affirm that does not mean you will get your package.I placed an order through a merchant & never received.2 cases open with affirm & they never bothered to listen to the monitor recording calls of affirm, FedEx & I speaking & FedEx confirming the tracking number provided by the merchant did not belong to me at all.affirm does not do thorough investigations at all.recorded calls & they don't look at them.from 5 to 1 stars.
I use to love to use Affirm, but lately they are terrible to work with. I have paid off all my loans with them except for $16.90 which isn't due until 07/09/2026. and they still won't let get another loan. it keeps saying pre-qualify but the pre-qualify button doesn't work.
DO NOT USE THIS GARBAGE COMPANY. They charged off my account for absolutely no reason and tanked my credit score 100 points. No missed payments. I actually doubled down on payments and paid off early all the time. These kind of practice should be illegal with money awarded to the customer with heavy fines to the company.
it doesnt work. you cant log on because you cant open anothwr window to get the email code without the app closing. fail

Worst app ever. Doesn't work right. Im never using this app ever again. It is the stupidest app ever and I hope they take it down.
