Our stay at Arawana Regency Park Sukhumvit was extremely disappointing due to poor maintenance, inadequate service, and an overall lack of hospitality. The rooms were old, shabby, and poorly maintained, with leakage issues, damaged fittings, and an unpleasant ambience. The bathroom drainage was inadequate, causing water accumulation and creating a slippery and unsafe condition. What was most disappointing was the attitude of the reception staff. Even though we just wanted to swap the guest name to let someone else take the trip, Agoda refused to support us because it was a "non-refundable" rate. Forcing customers to lose bookings over a simple name change during an illness is unacceptable business practice. Will be deleting the app.

Agoda should ensure property availability and facility details are kept updated to avoid such last-minute cancellations and inconvenience to customers.

I booked a plane ticket. It changed the schedule itself. Later, the refused to changed it back as I did not take screenshot. How was I supposed to know that they will change the timing after confirming the ticket?

The low prices are a bait to sell bookings for hotels that never match the quality standards, pristine photos and claimed amenities in the app listing. Never re-installing this app again.
paid for hotel, the app canceled ( give back as credit and not cash ) => increased the price by 50% ☺️

I had a confirmed booking through Agoda, but two days before my trip, I called the property to confirm my stay. To my surprise, the property owner informed me that they were already sold out and could not accommodate my booking. What I don't understand is why neither the property nor Agoda informed me in advance. If I hadn't called, I could have traveled all the way to the resort only to find that I had nowhere to stay. This would have resulted in unnecessary travel, wasted time, and significan

I booked a hotel through agoda and also paid in advance. The hotel denied entry upon arrival and told that the rooms are fully sold out. Agoda customer support didn’t do much but just said they will process my booked amount. But I couldn’t got hotel anywhere and had to book and come back to home with my family include 2 years kid this happens for me 2nd time and for my frds also. please don't trust this app.

I booked Hotel East Residency through "Agoda" based on the facilities shown online, including a swimming pool, gym, fridge, welcome drink, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. After arriving at the hotel, I was extremely disappointed. None of these facilities were available - no swimming pool, no gym, no fridge, and none of the promised services were provided. The actual property looked completely different from the photos shown online.
I booked a hotel using Agoda with breakfast included. But when I reached the hotel for my exam in Tamil Nadu, the hotel staff denied breakfast and said Agoda booking doesn’t include it. I had to face this issue during exam time which caused a lot of stress. Agoda shows breakfast included in the app but the hotel refuses at check-in. There is no proper coordination between Agoda and the hotel. I wasted time and money. Agoda customer service should fix this problem and verify with hotels too.

this app is a disaster and disappointment. the honesty and customer service is terrible and unhelpful in extreme cases. it's like having an auto generated message from customer service answering everything in a very messy and unorganized way. I highly would not recommend this app for any reason. Also, their pricing details are not accurate, and did not take care of customers very well.
They mentioned a specific date for cancellation and even though we cancelled before the mentioned date they denied a refund. They are charging us for the faulty cancellation date on their app. And customer service is pathetic even without resolution they'll close the ticket.

Pathetic experience When we called hotel prime stay contact through a contact number given on booking voucher, they said to come some banquet hall. When we reached there and checked room, there was no electricity and no water. How can we stay at such location ? It seems like the property doesn't exists and the contact person send me to some other property with no electricity and no water. On asking for refund from them, they asked me to cancel from agoda. Please look into this.
agoda hotel reviews is not trustable any more some dirty hotel got 7 of 10 while others like booking shows the reality. i got trapped twice by agoda review results into bad staying experience
apps to book rooms is very convenient but the account security is very concerning.
careful on booking more using this app. i've used this app as my main booking apps for accommodations. i've attained platinum status. My partner on her agoda account, only bronze status. but when we search using two different account for the same hotel, same room type and same date, bronze status shows much much lower price than platinum status. seems like the higher VIP status you got, the more expensive they will offer you. very bad. highly not recommend.
horrible... it is a scam on the offers... i applied 3 coupons....and download the app for 10%discount on 1st purchase.. tourned out not only the accommodation was cheaer on their website but also on partner websites i probably cant mentione here and i had to coupons no discounts still was cheaper...
Tôi đặt phòng qua Agoda ngày 17/2/2024, thanh toán đầy đủ và sau hơn 300km chúng tôi đến nơi vào lúc khoảng 20h khách sạn báo hết phòng, giữa rừng ban đêm chúng tôi lại đi vài chục km để tìm chỗ lưu trú khác, quá mệt mỏi.. Tôi đã email với với Agoda theo confirm booking cũng rất nhiều lần nhưng đến nay đã hơn 2 năm trôi qua tôi vẫn chưa nhận được khoản tiền Agoda phải trả lại cho tôi. Agoda chỉ phản hồi tôi bằng các email tự động, chẳng lẽ tôi tiếp tục tranh cãi với các email tự động này???

I booked a hotel from this site and paid all booking fees. Afterward, they called me, saying that the hotel booking was not confirmed and that I could either get a refund or take an alternate hotel. They were showing very cheap hotels. I had already completed all my flight and train ticket bookings, so this was very bad for me. I recommend not booking from this website; this is the second time this has happened with this app I haven't received the refund yet.
The interface itself is a problem especially for mobile users. UI design are not friendly and adjusting the photo deleting and reupload itself are frustrating due to same picture but not shown in the listing as a customer pov. As a first time host, this is quite a terrible experience to setup even using YCS still terrible and give me a headache. Lots of restrictions. really a bad experience.
Never use agoda for hotel booking. they will never share the booking invoice. they just send receipt. and if you get the invoice from the hotel then you will get amount difference. there is no customer care number also so if you need any help then you can contact no one, if you send a mail then no response on mail. Make my trip and other application much better than agoda.
they are not in favor of the guest, but are always in favor of the host. Even when the host are clearly in the wrong! They allow the host to take your money even if the facility has rats or give false information about the facility to bring in guests. Basically scamming the guest for money! as long as Agoda gets their cut, they don't care about you as the guest
Do not trust this app with your bookings. I had to cancel/modify a booking that was eligible for a refund, but Agoda has completely ghosted me on the payout. Their customer care gives nothing but automated responses and empty promises. It is impossible to get a straight answer or a real human to resolve the issue. Save yourself the stress and book directly or use a better platform. This app is 100% Fraud if u try to call customer care that number is connect to Fraud persons directly...
