Agoda uses much AI-generated support services. I booked the flight tickets twice. The first time, I bought extra kgs for the ticket but no extra kgs included in the ticket when I confirmed with the respective airline. The second time, the title was wrong in the ticket although I gave true information. Agoda did not take any accountability for their errors . How can I trust Agoda to book certain available services without much errors in the future?
FRAUD AGENCY The system is misleadingly defaulting to 1 guest on the payment page despite the initial search being for 2 adults.Furthermore, there is no option to edit the guest count, and the booking confirmation PDF conveniently omits the guest count entirely.This issue has caused unnecessary confusion and inconvenience. A booking made with the wrong guest count has created a problem to us. I am extremely dissatisfaction with the pathetic customer service and deceptive practices.

Been looking to stay at a hotel, going back and forth for the other hotel option at the area. Then when close the app to see other review (on tiktok or Facebook etc) when coming back to the app, the date is reset. Only realised when the booking already completed. When contacted AGODA (within 15 minutes), they said they cannot do anything. Contacted the bank (cc) they told the payment already issued, pending at AGODA. Contacted the hotel, they said any amendment can only be made by AGODA. Bad
Not recommended at all. The app is misleading while you do the booking. I was trying to book 3 hotel rooms for 6 adults and 2 children. The options this app showed under a certain hotel had clearly mentioned each room can have 2 occupancy and child stay is free. But when I booked the rooms, hotel confirmed that the booking was done for 1 person per room. As the booking was non-cancelable so now I am stuck with the booking and have to pay for extra addons at hotel just to keep the booking.

worst experienced ever! i read all the review (which is mostly 1 * review) and all of it happend to me! there is a case in 2024 about refund, and it happend to me now in april 2026 as my last case with Agoda! it's been 1 month and my refund is nowhere to be seen. this will be my last case because this app is the most untrusted app you can find in playstore. we using real money here so becarefull when you book something. edit : they ask me to wait 24, 48, then 72 hours, now its 45 days lol.
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE! I was asked to leave the hostel after the 1st night with no valid reason, even though i booked for 15 nights, they said a refund will be processed in 30-45days, if something is too good to be true, then its normally too good to be true! never again! die agoda!
Very disappointing experience with both Agoda and Hotel GrovesAt the time of booking, Agoda clearly showed check-in at 11:00 AM and check-out at 9:00 PM. The same timings were also confirmed in Agoda customer support chat. But when I reached the hotel, they denied the timings completely and later even cancelled my booking.This caused huge inconvenience,and waste of time. Despite the mistake and cancellation, Agoda did not provide any proper inconvenience compensation.Very unprofessional Agoda.
agoda is totally fraud and scamer. I bought air tikits from Agoda 4 months before. my flight was cancelled and I can't received my refund money back. I contacted Agoda Customer Service many times. but they are just lied they can't cooperate with me. dear customers never do booking from Agoda. you will lost your time energy and money. they just reply from atomic systems apologies.no more nothing. Agoda is fake and scammed.

Very disappointed with Agoda’s refund process. I cancelled my booking, and the agent informed me that the refund was already processed and would reflect in my account within 30 days. However, it has now been more than 2 months and I still haven’t received my refund.Every time I contact customer support, I get a different response. Now they are saying they will provide an ARN number after 4-5 days so my bank can check the transaction. This whole process has been extremely frustrating.

worst experience they booked and we didn't get check in . property says it's overbooked.we faced lot of problems . . after talking customer care they said we will refund your booking amount only . and with terms and conditions that you will get email you should fill the form . i didn't even remember to do it i didn't get my money refund . it's total scam you may prefer another application

the customer service is the worst! it took ages to reply and eventually they will not solve your problem after 5 days of communication. its ' i filed a legal complaint against them' bad!
I book flights and hotels frequently, and recently I’ve had the same poor experience multiple times with this app. Once the booking is done, there is absolutely no customer support. If anything goes wrong, you’re completely on your own, which is extremely frustrating-especially when you travel often and rely on timely assistance. It honestly feels like the platform is only focused on making money rather than helping customers.
I reserved a room for 100 but when I went to check it the price was 140. what's the point of the app if they don't communicate with the hotel the price you agreeded on

They steal your money and DO NOT EVER REFUND ANYTHING BACK. Not only do they CANCEL YOUR BOOKING WHEN YOU ARRIVE THE HOTEL, THEY ARE DEAD SET ON NOT REFUNDING YOU 3 MONTHS LATER EITHER!!! BEWARE OF THIS SCAM PLATFORM!!!!!! Best book hotels through the main hotel website. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLATFORM. They even ask you the customers to break laws so they can protect themselves. Avoid Agoda at all costs. Worst company for customer service. Rude, deliberately obtuse and make it as hard as possible to complain. As someone that spends about 80% of my time in hotels treated like dirt.
Your app completely lacks cust. care numbers or any option for assistance. I booked a hotel through it ystrdy, and we faced significant difficulties; however, your app provides absolutely no response or support after a booking is made. The booking details do not open correctly, nor does the booking itself appear within the app. There is no option to change dates, customer care is unavailable, and-to make matters worse-the app doesn't even open at all after a booking has been cnfrmd. wrst app

The big stolen company, don't use it. they have charged me twice. and customer support every time reinitialise the void process, wasting my time for nothing. I shared with Agoda all required documents, however they were unable to do anything because the property was not replying the partner!!
Very disappointing experience with Agoda. This is my second time facing issues. First time, the property had no record of my booking. This time, even after confirming on the call, my room was given to someone else. The contact number provided was not the property but an Agoda office in another state. I was forced to stay at a worse resort and pay ₹4000 extra as I had no other option with family and a small child. Extremely poor service and misleading information.
can we rate a zero star?! they say your card will not be charged yet but they already charge your card even if the property manager hasn't confirmed that booking yet.Now that the booking is cancelled you will need to wait 30-45 days but it's almost 45 days! very very bad experience. I trust the app blindly and lost 95 RM. they have hidden charges which are not explained or breakdown. same property i compare after booking, came to know that I was cheated. I reached customer care and got answer as they also don't know why it charged more as Malaysia govt taking only 20RM as tax but agoda collecting 115.86 RM under tax column. for 332.88RM they charged 115.86 tax.

Worst travel app that charges an exorbitant exchange rate (5% extra) tag-on for using credit cards. It also refuses to accept payment through debit cards.

it was a bad experience using agoda. i mean, booking for my flight and canceled by agoda. and the worst part is, it still need a time to refund... part 1 i try to call agoda on 28 april, and tell them ny problem. they say that, it will refund to my account 3-5 days, they said on monday will sent my acoount. on 4 may, i call again, and they said i have to utl friday. this cancellation bcs of your system not mine. why i ve to wait so long???????
Do not use!!! I booked through Agoda and had to make amendments to my stay. Agoda stated I have to contact the hotel to do this. The hotel stated I had to contact Agoda. They will steal your money if you need to make minor changes such as room guests, then charge you for a no show check in.

Useless app
the hotels on Agoda are bedbug infested and when you report it to them instead of them apologizing they tell you you don't qualify for cancellation. AVOID THIS SHADY COMPANY
Bad application, unsecured, not recommended. I have booked duplicate booking by mistake because it's gave unsuccessful payment first. I requested from the customer service to cancel one of the booking & make the refund to me, they said it's subject to the hotel!!!! then I talked with the hotel, they said we are ok to cancel just need agoda to send us cancellation email. Agoda said we send the email, hotel said didn't receive any email. then Agoda just rejected the cancellation & stolen my money!
