Worst customer service. Do not go here unless you want over an hour wait times and people and bots that don't actually help you and hang up on you/end messaging before you are done. edit: Thanks for your response. This further proves your incompetence as intelligent employers will make sure they have an adequate team number BEFORE making a change that will increase call volume. Also, you neglected to address how your bot also did not send me to any human for hours and then shut it down.

Been trying to talk to you guys as your app sucks. Fix your app, fix your dumb AI chatbot and for the love of God please figure out actual human support wait time. Finally got through on the third attempt after being on hold for 40 minutes. Not worth the inflated premiums we pay you every month!
There are bugs everywhere on this app. If I try and enter the cost of a claim, it gives me a blank error message and then I can't proceed. I tried to report this in the app with the message function, then it tells me to message in the app and not in the browser. I am in the app? If I try to login on the browser to make a claim or message, it forces me to open the app. So shockingly bad.

Making a claim is next to impossible, as the app is extremely restrictive, requiring the exact right wording, in the exact order AHM has it listed, rather than allowing for key words to search.
money mincing company when you try to cancel your membership they never pick up.. wanna join them always pick up the phone in 5rings..this drop my trust I am writing while my phone still on waiting with them...love to give them stars in negative they havent learn.cancelling it in just a week

The install keeps failing, no MSG why it failed. can install other apps just fine. restarted phone and still will not install, brand new phone so what is your problem?
App wouldn't update so I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Won't install now. I'm on Android 16 and getting Google security updates. Solution to use the website is not practical and a cop out. AHM customer for over 15 years. Will be changing now.

Way to zone out a lot of customers by making your app incompatible with current phones. I'll be considering other health insurers.

AHM is making it impossible to cancel my health insurance, I have tried calling (huge queue) and asked for a callback, no one called. I used the app and asked them to call me, no one called. I think the next obvious step is finding the relevant ombudsman.
Apparently the updated app is not compatible with my Samsung Galaxy A8 phone. Not impressed! Don't expect this, or accept this, when we pay for a high level of private health insurance!!

I am shocked and frustrated by AHM’s decision to stop answering member emails. This change is a clear disregard for customer convenience. An insurance provider that avoids direct communication cannot be trusted. ai comuncation only. fuark THAT

I sincerely wish it were possible to award a rating lower than one star for this firm. It has been one of the most disappointing and unprofessional experiences I have encountered in Australia. The standard of communication is exceptionally poor; the average waiting time to address even a simple query exceeds one hour and thirty minutes. Moreover, upon finally receiving a response, clients are frequently transferred from one representative to another, each requiring excessive wait time.
screen locks to app somehow and unable to exit of the app forcing a restart every time I use the app. refuses to let me update details on the app or even update payment info. asks for fingerprint to gain access to the friggin log in screen where I have to enter password anyway before it has the audacity to ask if I would like to use a fingerprint next time. this is the result of nepotism surely, the bosses kid given a shot at being the "IT" guy. pathetic.

Just joined and digital Card was not recognised from app and I had to pay out of pocket. Also they didn't bother to send me a physical card either. Terrible onboarding experience should have never switched in the first place

The benefit payment for a submitted prescription is approximately 20% of the cost of the prescription. This makes me wonder why I remain a member of AHM. My premium costs over the years I have been a member has been much higher than the benefits I have received. What is the value of having extras cover? Please explain?
