Got an email saying my e-sim had one day left on it. I check in the app and it confirms I have one day and 7 GB of data left. Just an hour later, I'm standing at the train station after 9 pm with no cell service or data. Thankfully there was someone around to let me use their mobile hotspot or I would have had to walk home. Used to have no problems with this app, but these days service disappearing is becoming increasingly common. I'm not in the middle of nowhere, either. I'm in the suburbs.

Doesn't work in the UAE. They won't tell you this though! And the customer service was literally and figuratively like talking to a robot. The app did not work in the UAE despite 1.5 hours of troubleshooting. I did reply to the real customer service people. The chatbot put me in touch with them, who repeated some of the same advice as the chatbot and they didn't solve anything. The problem wasn't my phone: Airalo's SIM and my normal SIM worked in other countries.
disconnects all the time. never again
Insists I'm offline. It let me pay for it previously but now I'm trying to actually install the Esim I'm "offline" apparently. Well I'm using that nonexistent connection to write a review so it's not my phone that's the problem
the unlimited packs are for 3 gb per day
worst esim in italy!!! this is 3rd time that i use this operater, and every time they lost internet signal. right now, im in florence and i have h+ signal.

I have followed the instructions, but I have no service and cannot use the data plan I paid for. I have lost my money because the service has not worked as promised, and I have not received a refund.
Can not get a Nth American SIM to work in Alaska

As a user of GrapheneOS, a security hardened, privacy respecting AOSP project, the introduction of the Play Integrity API has broken my access to this app. I have been using Airalo for years without issue, have several referrals, and continue to have service with them on their International plan even now, but am now unable to access my account on the same device. I urge the developers to use the standard Android hardware attestation API in place of Google's predatory and proprietary version.
absolute terrible app. eKYC fails for all my docs and even accuses me of falsifying my IDs. garbage experience. back to using physical SIMs ...
First time using Airalo, seems to stop working every time we arrive in a different country but its a global sim so that shouldn't happen
An absolute disaster!!! I paid for the 10GB plan for a month in the US it's too slow and connectivity comes and goes! I was in Chicago, Kansas City, Dallas and Miami, all the same!!! Not recommended!
My wife and I planned a trip to Italy and decided to use Airalo for a data plan. It was easy to download the app. However,the E-sim itself would not load onto my phone. My phone had been deemed a match to use an E-sim. When I tried to load it, it did not take. At first, I looked online for help to no avail. I then contacted their tech support through chat. They had me try different things until they referred me to a live tech, then a second tech. Nothing worked. My wife got a refund, I did not.
Very poor service in Mexico City. Very patchy and inconsistent mobile data. I raised a refund request on the second day as the service did not improve. Unfortunately, the service rep couldn't refund me because the service has been used, despite the shocking coverage. Will be trying a different esim provider next time!
sim never works!
At times installation and usage works smoothly, other times it is unbelievably clunky needing lots of error fixing and manual instructions in the middle of a trip. I will be looking for another eSIM provider for my next trip.
Really limited coverage in Peru and Colombia. best service I got was LTE (in the big cities). most of the north coast of Colombia had no service. probably better with a local Claro Sim. H+ in Bogota, not enough to look at nearby restaurants on google maps...
Usually quite good but recently I had an esim card where I clicked 'install or share' and arrived at a screen with only a button for sharing and none for installing. i had to contact their help desk which was also difficult because it worked only by accepting all cookies and disabling VPN. I was finally told that I had to install my eSim card manually. It would have saved me 20 minutes if the app had told me that directly!

Modern applications - social media, maps, browsers, messaging apps, and even websites - are designed to load much more data.When the speed drops this low: - Pages and apps constantly reload, load very slowly, or do not open at all. - In practice, you are left without functional internet access, even if you technically still have a connection. - This is exactly how customer have been mislead,calling it“unlimited”
way too expensive and top ups too expensive.
When it works it's great, support sucks. We were with them in a chat for 4 hours trying to get my wife's esim to work, and later, to ask for a refund. Their support is really bad.
Very bad connection. Other eSIM seem to have far better laytency and speed. I do not recommend.
