It's cheaper to get a hotel with accommodations.

went to our rental and there was a lady living in the property after driving five hours in traffic we were left stranded and told they would pay 20% of our first night at a hotel and never helped us find anything and never sent the 20%.
You removed timestamps, prices paid and all the other vital information that used to appear on a reservation -- who thought hosts wanted to see less information?
I had booked a stay and needed to be verified. It sends an email with the verification request. Everytime I clicked on the verification request it said "You've been verified" and a check mark on my profile was there to show I had been verified. It kept sending me the email to be verified and everytime I clicked on the link the same message appeared saying I was verified. Long story short, I guess I wasn't verified and lost my reservation. I will be deleting this poorly managed app.

Despite the professional cleaning was done, he took half of my bond so I had to pay it twice. Gave them 1 star for it and airbnb removed my comment. Guess hotels are better.
rarely use Airbnb but every time I do, I regret it. hidden cleaning fees, cabins with no toilet (not mentioned on the listing), and AI assistants that do nothing to help.
Airbnb is no longer a better option than hotels, you pay a cleaning fee and still have to clean, locations are not always honest and the chore list is longer than I have at home, and finally fot two people hotels are cheaper.

trying to cancel stay and unable to get customer service
often unreliable, app hangs, dates change after app hangs. AirBnB cancelled a host's account after I had arrived, it was unexplained and strange.
