Yeah, this app is still awful. Change it back to how it was originally or you'll meet an army of me. Other people are angry about the updates, just like I am.

Because of the pay wall that has appeared for some reason you're unable to reach one of the crucial parts of the app. The monthly recap has been locked behind the pay wall which sucks and you can't even access the monthly recaps you've had before the payment need for some reason. The way the app worked before was better - paying for reactions and in general for additional cosmetic changes is definitely way better as it doesn't contradict the app values.
I have yet to be able to review this, I do have high expectations but it's not compatible with youtube

i don't like how they removed the free customization options for non-premium users. i really have to pay to put a photo on my profile?
this subscription idea is absolutely stupid and you will astronomically drop numbers and be the quickest app in history to be forgotten about. nobody cares enough about this app to see the things you've taken from it and want to pay for the subscription, they will simply just delete it. do the right thing airbuds, you get capitalistic on us and the whole cookie crumbles.
love the app, my friends and i can see eachothers music. i especially love the space feature, but i find it dissatisfying that it wont let me add any songs, albums, or lyrics to my space manually. where is the "add to space" button? edit: now all my reactions ive given to others are all gone after a certain point. i really dislike this update because i cant tell if ive reacted to something in the past anymore and it just makes me not want to react or use the app really anymore. please fix this.

It keeps showing a popup every time I open the app saying that XYZ and I are friends and suggesting mutual friends. It’s really annoying since we’ve already been friends for a month-I don’t want to see it every time I open the app.
It's been a week since my app stopped tracking my music. I use Apple Music, and it was working well but it suddenly stopped tracking what I listen to. I guess I'll just delete the app since it's useless now. My history won't show anything, and I don't know what to do.
Please add YouTube music, because I don't use any of the other platforms.
I like that I can see what my friends are listening to and track my own listening. I don't like that it's limited to only specific apps because Im trying to use apps that are better for the Artists and they're not options for connecting to this app even the music I have downloaded on my own phone isn't an option for this app, more connection options would be better. 31 Mar: The Widget stopped working, the update didn't fix it fully it says "tap here to start..." I have tapped & nothing happens.

I hate how one day I updated the app and it was like upgrade, to do this .and the fact that you can only buy weekly subscriptions or yearly and nothing in between. this app was so fun when it was a niche it hurts to see greed destroy something so good
the app is a great way to socialise with people but it also comes with the cost of paying for cool features. I used to enjoy this app when it was free for everyone, but because I can't pay for the cool features, I no longer like it anymore.
app has fallen off now that they have decided to sell out and include ads, what made airbuds better that stats.sm was the lack of in app purchases and advertising, now in 2026 both of them positives are gone leading to the app seemingly becoming a waste of storage due to it becoming nothing more than cash grab slop

what's happening...which unusual activity did you notice in my area that you just decided to cancel my account out of the blue for the past month I have not been able to do anything with the app so I am deleting it now and don't even ask if I tried to delete and install it I did , it didn't work
horrible, absolutely horrible. app is always buggy and never loads my stuff(music, stickers, questions). i re-downloaded it twice and tried to log back in but there was an "error" with my phone number and when i clicked email it something abt an "unknown email"
I honestly used to love this app at the start but now I feel like whenever I try to decorate my space I have to redo it 5 times before it actually saves, sometimes random songs appear on my history that I haven't listened to, not to mention the android version of airbuds is not as nice as IOS and I don't understand why there's a difference and last but not least it always says unable to fetch user profile and then when I redownload it all of a sudden I'm locked out of my account???
