app barely functions. constantly gets stuck on certain areas and cant back out. constantly need to close and open again just to do basic task extremly poor tool for home security
Dosen't always load or show activity on camera. if you need to see things quickly, not reliable
worked okay for 3 years until the builders subscription ran out. now they want me to pay for a subscription fee. no thanks.
TRASH Unbelievably inconsistent
The developer team is a mess. I wish they would have used rationality when developing the UI. This is an alarm app why do the buttons move and change behavior. Many times you disarm and then because of the comical layout. timing and double tap at the same spot on the screen you end up arming the system without noticing. Use logic and understand the purpose of the app. ALARM SYSTEM. Not a funky game

have been trying to get my cameras to show on app for over 4 weeks & no agent will order a tech or is able to fix it they ALL reply with we will send you an email to reset the camera ! camera been reset 4 times but still can't access it by app and their agents read generic spiel and offer to send email
can't even get it as an icon on the phone

Used to allow you to log in and manage your hardware. Now it keeps asking for something more. Unclear what it wants, just won't send you into the app.
APR 01 2026 - All jokes aside the latest update won't allow me to remotely arm my alarm. 😤 WHY?!
I have this alarm for my business it was work well but now I can't login on app which is not good for me and I tried to call on customer service many times but no answer from there i am very disappointed with this service I am not recommend for anyone.
I can no longer login to the app it just spins!! I cleared the cache, same problem, uninstalled and reinstalled, same problem!!! It keeps saying the servers are busy and to try again!!! Billing has also become a whole nightmare!! Time to look for a new provider I think
switched to this company 3 weeks ago and can't access the system at all! totally regret my choices
Very poor application. When the doorbell is pressed we are unable to see the live event. It takes forever to load. Needs improvement as soon as possible. Connectivity is very very poor on this app.

App continues to not open and listen errors. have used the APP for about 20 years, same old problems.
yay, I get to watch my neighbors drive by 20 times a day. But will it do what it's supposed to record a person inside of my driveway? No. Of course not. Why would it?
I cannot disarm the system
from the get go the sales guy lied to me said it was my existing service and that they were just changing ownership to you guy's which was false he lied about every part of what was going on had me believing he was just changing from vivent to your company because vivent was closing down? all the way thru the whole process i felt somthing wasnt right about anything he was pitching i feel stupid that i fell for your guys tricks and lies i should of known better?
This app is not only unreliable, it often gives error messages. How is that safe in an emergency?
Just about all of the functions on this app has stopped working for me except opening my garage door. Useless... and I've tried everything, uninstalling it, clearing the cashe, clearing each device and putting it in like a brand new one with new settings. Nothing has helped. I'm about to cancel this service soon.
Do not sign a contract w/ skyline security. They only want your money and waste your time/energy. They protect criminals when they rob you. 1 of 3 questions asked, is app difficult to use, its hard to answer. If no unwanted person is on it, then no. but if you are trying to have security within the app, it's stressful when settings are changed on an unknown device, your app dn't notify you.

im in the middle of unlocking my door to go inside my building and the app force signed me out while im in the middle of the rain. WTAF?!

i like Vivint better than this and looks like i will go back even if it means breaching the contract.
This app worked fine except for the occasional disconnect but now for some reason if im say playing a youtube video and go into the app, all sounds go through my phone call speaker vs my real speakers. Even leaving the app does not fix this. I have to wait for like 5 minutes outside of the app for it to fix itself. I will change this rating to something more appropriate when this is fixed.
the service is ok but the workers that come to the place where someone livin they don't do the work
This app is horrible. I have used both nest and ring and they are far more user friendly and robust. The fact that I am forced to use this app to control my thermostat and cannot setup myself nor connect to my Alexa for voice control is infuriating. If I had a choice I would not use this. And I have to pay a monitoring fee to actually take advantage of the features

Absolutely the worse company to deal with. Would be easier to deal with burglars then tried to find someone to help with a problem. I would give them -100. Do not use ADT. Can't reach anyone when you have any issues and when you do they argue with you and tell us we don't know what we are looking at on our phones .

Technology for the sake of technology without actually thinking through the user experience. The amount of clicks I have to do to manage the gate which is a separate menu then managing my apartment is excessive. Plus integrating with my smart thermostat and lock often just don't work. They make the noise but don't actually do anything. I've resorted to manually unlocking my door and manually adjusting my thermostat.
what is this nonsense? I download the app, try to create my account and I never get the email to register. its nit even in my junk or spam
We were recently logged out of the system and unable to use the app. We called the 800 number and were redirected elsewhere. No fix, I believe it has to do with us canceling service even after we had paid for it for over a year. Worthless how these companies want to control our lives!
I have Cricket mobile, owned by AT&T and had access with my family (shared residence). I only receive emails saying "Arming Reminder, system was not armed. I don't get text anymore nor can I view camera recordings. Since I am not the account holder I don't have a username nor password to go into the app and do push notifications... Whatever that is per me Google new changes.

Inconsistent to provide non-critical event notifications (arm and disarm) to phone. What will occur in the event of a break in?? Retailer claims it is poor cell connection, however, this started 2 years after installing with no changes to the physical location of antennas. Also, sometimes app must login and fails, so system cannot be remotely accessed.
half of the times the camera doesn't connect. and no it has nothing to do with my wifi, I have checked.
slow communication with panel when arming. smart arming failed
No 'select all' function to delete videos. They pile up until I'm out of storage rendering the system useless. Have to call support line to clear them all in order to record again.

The app is not consistent. Despite multiple attempts to change the settings, this system continually fails to catch activity. It frequently is unavailable when trying to live stream the video. Only reason I still have service with them is I know it will be a hassle to change and I don't have time right now. The notifications work for one user but not another. Not reliable at all. There is a minute lag time when trying to load Live feed. Overall, I am not happy with it. Would not recommend.
