On my second "trip" the app says I was speeding and it clocked me driving 51 mph while I was SLOWING DOWN FROM 65 MPH for traffic building up at the offramp!!! I was on the fricken freeway... the speed limit is 70 mph!! WHAT A JOKE!!! I'm used to NOT speeding due to being a retired commercial truck driver for OVER 35 YEARS; MY LICENSE IS MY PAYCHECK AND KEEPS A ROOF OVER MY HEAD!! NO WAY TO CONTEST IT, OTHER THAN EDITING THE TRIP TO SAY I WAS THE PASSENGER OR DENYING I MADE THE TRIP!!

The app worked fine with the exception of Drive Wise which would check for trips when the phone is dropped, senses vibrations (non-driving). Today i was prompted to update the app and now, every time I try to log in, it gives me a pop-up about visiting MyClaim about viewing the status of my claim? I don't have an active claim. It won't let you close the pop-up. So the app is now basically an electronic way to show your proof of insurance. It will allow you to open that without logging in.

the SITE forgot my password and username
I tried to download the app. When I used my email it says already been used. So it won't let me see my policy. To make a payment even if I automatically pay plan I wanted to see if it has been deducted. Not working right.
drivewise does not work. reported several times!!!

Drivewise is active in the app. app is up to date and tracking all trips, but I got a text saying that I was going to lose my discount if I didn't set it up. got ahold of the person I talk to about my policy and was told that I should've received a notice to make sure the app was up to date(it is). So, if I lose the discount, it is an app error not mine. I have proof that it is active and all the trips I have taken since starting my policy.
I can't never login
Total waste of privacy, app always checking for a trip and then processing forever only to vanish the trip. I have 20 screenshots of 3 or more trips each processing but not one of them actually counted in drivewise.
They just increased the premium and used drivewise as an excuse to "lower" the premium when in reality they collect and sell your data.
The app doesn't align with the website. My policy is paid for, but allstate keeps charging a card that I had to lock now. It doesn't show up on the website, only on the app, and it's not allowing me to remove it.

Drivewise no longer functions. App support says it's often incompatible with Motorola Moto G phones, though the app store claims compatibility.
This app and company is a joke! You're not in good hands with Allstate they delete claims decisions and take their time to get back to you so they're probably taking their time on the claim as a whole let me shop for new insurance!
So to use this app to view my active insurance, that I've had for over ten years, I am now required to agree to allow you to track my phone? uhhh no. I will not be a customer of yours anymore. Not ever again. Edit: No, I will not be contacting your support. You aren't sorry about anything. This behavior is exploitative and unacceptable. So long as I draw breath I will never do business with you again.
doesn't record trips all the time. I have unistalled it multiple times and reinstalled but it records 1 trip then nothing after.
it doesn't let you see policy card or any of that...
The safety score doesn't even make sense. I could be in the passenger seat, using my phone while someone else is driving. But that would hurt my driving score, which doesn't make sense. I have better things to do that edit all 50 trips to recall if I was the one driving.
Got pulled over and needed to show insurance and of course the site crashed due to technical issues. Cant make this up lol

Allstate is really hard to deal with. It has never ever been a smooth ride. This time in particular I paid a balance in full and then they sent me a bill for the extra I would have paid in installments. They always, always change what I was quoted. I think this relationship is getting a divorce very soon. I have wasted so much time trying to get them to fix their mistakes and end up giving up and paying more. What scam artists they are. Shame on Allstate!
Not worth the trouble. Seems like a good idea, but it logs everything as me being the driver. How are you supposed to remember to tell the app you are a passenger? It's worse than trying to remember to turn off the start/stop feature on your car. You can't do it after the fact, so you better not forget or you'll get dinged for someone else's bad habits. I thought it was smarter than that. Clearly not. Needs work.

not for old people and your call # is useless
applied for full coverage for a brand new vehicle, the app is deceptive and changed it to liability without our knowledge. filed a claim and of course Allstate won't do a damn thing about it. don't get Allstate. they're garbage.

I need someone to explain to me why my insurance or my house jump $700 higher than it was last year!! have not made no claims. even if I did it shouldn't matter!!! $3,400 a year house insurance And $3,200 a year three vehicle insurance,, I need explanations and somebody to explain to me why? and if you can't get it where I can afford it,,
it says view your bill and you can only see last bill,not the new one.
Loses GPS constantly. Drivewise also penalties you for having a job where you get off work after 11 pm and drive. It's an automatic bad trip.
