please ship my debit card before I decide to cancel the account and go somewhere else... I haven't even started banking with you guys other than put a small amount of money in that account to get my debit card shipped and the card was was ordered on the 21st haven't started banking with you guys yet and it looks like I'm not going to we're already off to a bad start
Our car is financed through Ally. Over the past 18 months we have struggled to make payments. Not because we do not have funds, but because Ally takes up to two weeks to withdraw the funds once you submit your payment. What happens is the funds are approved by your bank and marked for Ally. Ally then takes their sweet time accessing those to the point your bank will cancel the transaction due to inactivity. We have used two different personal banks and continue to have this issue. AVOID THEM!!

I know I'm customer service but I don't know anything. save yourself the headache and get a real bank account somewhere else. ally will not be your ally when you need them.

Frequently crashes. For a bank whose entire presence is online, I'd expect more from their app. Frustrating when you're notified of an issue by the app but can't access it to see what it is.
Mobile deposit always telling to retake images, never had this problem wkth other banks
Terrible app. Always prompting me to reenter my login, or else the service is down.
Terrible customer service. Company stole from me by charging my account twice when I only gave consent for one payment, which also shows in my payment history. They not only admitted the wrong doing but then proceeded to tell me they wouldn't be helping be at all and that I would have to fix the problem. I will be re financing my vehicle and leaving this pathetic excuse for a company ASAP. Truly pathetic.
the app us good. there customer service is terrible. your speaking to someone in another country that barley speaks English.

will never bank with ally again. they made my car payment late due to wanting to investigate my account. didn't give a time frame as to when it would be completed. I haven't had steady access to my funds in over a month! worst bank ever. dont recommend. * You could respond to my report i made with the BBB (since your rating states specifically you dont respond to them) * NOTE - The first investigation was fine, but a 2nd?? I was told yesterday I would have to wait another 10 days.
Totally glitches out for Zelle, & Ally reps were of no help--only spinning my wheels. Still doesn't work!
App works ok but this bank hosts predatory loans with ridiculous terms that trap disadvantaged people into losing situations. Lots of outsourcing and trickery involved whenever dealing with customer service - hidden terms, no transparency. Ally is basically the payday loan version of auto loans. Beware!
You wouldn't generate a barcode when I was standing in the stupid money center line at Walmart. so trash I think I'm going To close the bank account over this..
too many displays just keep it simple loan total amount and total due
when you set up an account it doesnt give you the option to put more money towards the principle
either the "3 year repaper" process wasn't QAd at all or the person that QAd it needs to be fired. The scam alert verification window covers the actual value I'm supposed to see before it's displayed and the only way to see it is to close the verification window without choosing a response. You've forced a catch 22 on your own customers after they've already logged in to the app and now prevent them from using it.
Warning...30 days new account? Do NOT submit your paper checks to them digitally unless you want your funds held hostage for 5 business days!

I enrolled in auto pay for my car loan, cause I thought that would make my life easier, I have never been so wrong !!! For the last couple of months, they have been taking 2 payments out of my already low checking account and messing that up, now my account is all messed up and now I can't pay my apartment rent. My manager will not let me split that up or work with me in any way. My apartment rent is more important than the double payment that ally wants - that's almost $900.00..
This bank was so good in the beginning. I set up recurring transfers. They make it impossible to cancel automatic payments. I had to call. Then, I was transferred. Then, I had to use the website. Then the person, Yuri, did not know how to cancel it. I spent 40mins on my off day trying to cancel. Beware!

I have a claim that has been approved by my warranty through them but they are dragging their feet now after I was told that they could pay my claim right away because my car is finished and I need it for my job. now for what they are doing can cause me to lose my job because I don't have any vehicle to get to my new job on Monday morning and now I don't know what to do. I am not a happy customer.
not sure how this app has 4 stars. cant make a payment through the app, call them and they tell me to try the website. why even have this app. taking up space on my phone and its useless
worst waste of time. any time I went to try and use my money, I was froze out of my account "cuz of fraud" and had to jump thru hoop after hoop to get it unfroze. only to have it frozen on me again the same day. it went on for at least 2 maybe 3 weeks before I finally had enough and closed the account, which once again made me wait a week before I could use my money. I have NEVER been so frustrated in my life. they are that bad
App can't do simple things for Ally Invest such as contributing to an ETF, because it is "Not a stock" you have to instead use the desktop version of their website to do this.

updated today and it is messing up all over the place. it shows I have unread messages but when I click there are no messages. I can't access my account page (it keeps saying "something went wrong on our end please try again later").
trying to set up an online account is difficult!! 😕
The app keeps throwing errors saying it needs to take a digital deep breath or we're sorry the system is unavailable right now.
Pretty disappointed in this app. It only works maybe once a month when I try to log on, either with biometrics or with my password. When it does open it is helpful, but it doesn't work enough to make it overall useful.
