By far the worst app I have used for a long time, can't register, can't login, repeated session error.
The worst app you could imagine. Very laggy and not up to standard. Very poor quality

Used to be really good but now, Feb 2026, the app is utterly unstable, crashes within seconds of opening even after cache clearing or reinstall.
The app is unstable and logs you out once every few days or after updates. Sometimes your tickets are missing even if you are logged in. You must check your email to retain them. Even if you choose to unsubscribe from marketing offers, they still send them to your email. When you come back to your account on the app or website, your agreement to receive these offers is ticked again. If you tick it off, they will start sending them again in a few days. To much spam. La aplicación cambia los pasajes individualmente lo que resultó en que 2 pasajes de la familia cambiaron y el otro no, quedando una persona varada. UX horrible
terrible app, keeps saying session expired while trying to book.
Lo peor que puede pasarle a alguien en la vida es intentar utilizar esta App o recibir asistencia. Son lentos. no responden. No resuelven. Se qurdan con tu dinero que es, al final, lo único que les interesa. Dar 1 estrella es ser generoso
option to buy tickets is no longer there
Bought a pass for 3 trips and when attempting to use one the app returns to the home screen, useless. Thankfully able to redeem at a ticket machine.

The app will not allow me to create an account with a USA phone number. I changed the country prefix to +1, but it keeps telling me my phone number is incorrect. You have to get a code sent to your phone. I wanted to buy a weekly ticket on the app for a visit to Almuñecar because both the ticket kiosks at the Almuñécar bus station are broken. The website is very difficult to use. The buses and drivers have been very nice but it is ridiculously difficult to buy a ticket by any means.
Alsa is a scam they do not provide wifi and the charging does not work which breaches EU false advertising laws. They also will lie on support and say they've started a case but will never reply and block you from contacting. They also fail to inform you of the platforms at Barcelona Nord station. Please use any other bus company it is not worth the discomfort.
whilst always having a consistently poor user experience, at least it worked. Now, without explanation the app immediately takes me to a totally different website called Movelia which I've never heard of. Not only is this confusing and annoying, it's also potentially illegal. As a result I can no longer use my alsa app or account and have to find a different provider for bus tickets in Spain.
When I entered my card details to pay through the app it did not give me any indication that I was successful in my purchase and the screen froze. I tried this twice, then changed to buying through the website, by which point it turns out I had bought 2 tickets extra tickets on top of the ones I just bought on the website. I could then refund these tickets minutes later but not for a full refund! I'd buy your tickets online instead of through the app.
Impossible to create an account with a UK phone number
I bought a ticket and went to the station and bay it said on the ticket and the bus just never came. Really negative experience.
There's a problem processing UK and probably non EU credit card payments. When using the app to book tickets there'll be an error with the payment, so naturally you try again. At some point they will put the failed payment through so you end up with multiple unwanted tickets. Hopefully your credit card company will understand and dispute the unauthorised payments. Criminal behaviour.

No cumplen los horarios o las paradas
I couldn't register my Hungarian phone number, so I register a random Spanish one... I registered my card but after that during the booking process I had to put the data again. I could get a ticket but it is not visible in "My journey" or anywhere else in the app. I could show the ticket what I bought via email that's is why I give 2* for the app. I paid for seat on the right near the corridor I chose it but in real the seat 43 was on the left side of the corridor...
