QR code scanning is completely broken. Despite having permission to use the camera, the app never actually activated the camera to scan a QR code to add a device and then times out. It's complete trash.
Alexa wont connect even after telling me it is now connected! Jeff bezos sucks
Consistently the worst app on my phone. Many things are very difficult to do or just don't work. In some cases it tells me to scan a barcode but then the built-in code scanner doesn't work at all, despite being given a variety of permissions.
She is Dumb, can't Ai
default opens to the chat and won't let you use anything else. sometimes closing and reopening the app will bring up the main menu

I have never seen such useless software of anyone else. It never works properly. It plays everyone's song except the one whose song you ask. I made a mistake by buying this Echo .
its so bad. my device is split between speaking in French and English and displayed with a mix of Japanese even tho all settings are in English. I will be returning the echo after 1 day of use. DO NOT BUY!

Hard to troubleshoot
I HATE the new interface!!! What goofball decided users wanted and needed a new and more complex interface? I loved the way the apps old interface flowed and how it was more user friendly. This is just out right garbage. Why do I need a constant bubble to talk or type in ..to display on the app...When all I had to do is say, "Alexa". smh FIRE the team that designed this new layout. .Then fire the team that apparently has failed to read any of the reviews!!
Terrible app same as the devices. Avoid if you can
Unresponsive, connected to my TV when I don't want it connected to my TV and app unhelpful trying to fix the problem it created! No option to disconnect the device from my TV.
It lags all the time and is super glitchy... very disappointing this is the companion app to the Echo devices. It's mpossible to toggle between other apps and Alexa. l Iose my shopping list every time i go out and have to close and restart the app each time to get it back. So lame and frustrating!
i don't know how to login into i am trying 13 time not working
it never works, getting stupider by the day, switching to Google, its probably worth the learning curve

Devices are not working
They redid this app so the useless AI is centered around the entire app and it does nothing every single time you try to communicate with the app. Everything you click on it barely works, give up on the AI already Bezos.

Trash, alexa already stupid enough. Now with the introduction of Alexa+ its dumber than ever. I think amazon forgot to include the intelligence when they made this unresponsive garbage that never seems to know anything when questioned.
the app is frustrating to navigate
This App and all of the Alexa features have become complete garbage. Nothing works as it should, terrible lag time, App is constantly crashing. Have tried uninstall and reinstall removing devices. I definitely have internet speeds that will support it. Very disappointed that I've invested so much money in Amazon /Alexa products and now they are so unreliable. They need to work on the other issues before worrying about Alexa+.
made a drop in call, app says I'm not on a call, but my phone says I am. plus the whole layout suuuucks.
Probably the worst app I've ever used. I don't know why Alexa makers keep messing with the app.
Used to be a good app. over the years this app has become painful to use - things just keep popping up when I try to make changes on my smart home devices. sometimes not responsive either. overall alexa feels archaic given what one can do with tools like chatgpt today. not sure if these speakers still relevant.
routines done work most the time
When I first got my Alexa devices and connected my Smart devices, it was LOVE AT 1st CONNECTION!! Now, Alexa is just doing all kinds of crazy stuff. Talking smart, not doing what I ask, starting to play music then immediately stopping, not setting off my alarm which I have set/reset several times. WTH is really going on?
First of all Alexa is completely useless you're better off using your mobile. Anything you ask, it does something completely unrelated. the device itself is useless and the app is beyond help.i would give 0 Stars if possible
The app is constantly lagging and half the time the buttons don't work. If I do an action I often have to restart the app to do another. It's definitely not user friendly either in the slightest. The setup is confusing and annoying, like everything else Amazon. It's ridiculous, given the company has so much money.

where can we download previous versions of this app?? we simply need to use it with older android phone and tablet and we are stuck!!
