Memories Intrusive at the top and can't turn it off. Ruining my enjoyment.
new update is horrible
zero value for money. if you want photo storage there are much cheaper and better options. the people detection simply doesn't work.
u can trust Amazon to do analysis on ur photos and steal data from filenames or image content same as Google. never give ur photos to a big company without Zero-Knowledge-encryption especially when it's free. not to mention they modify the ur images.
worked for years - Now doesn't work - I can't download photos directly to my phone.
Absolutely HATE the new look. it's AWFUL with an ugly featured photos taking up most of the screen. After 5 years, I am putting my photos elsewhere.
I don't understand why I can't see my folders in this app. Have to go to the web browser and that ROYALLY BLOWS.
The latest update made the UI worse. It doesn't upload from non-camera folders automatically even though I have them selected in settings. New uploads don't appear until I force close and restart the program. The gigantic "on this day" card can't be hidden, and it's hard to scroll away from it to see your actual photos because it drills down to some day in 1994. It used to be a glorified cloud backup, but now it doesn't even do that right.
Sad. Yet another app that removes control. Used to let you see your recent personal and family photos easily. Now forces them off screen and instead jumps through old photos and plays dreadful musak. Time to look elsewhere.
5/2026 after apparently a new app update. Im very disappointed that when I open my amazon photos app that it is on the 'on this day' instead of my photos. I would prefer to toggle to that option when I want to see it, just like having to toggle to albums, people, ect. I do not know why this has changed but it is extremely user UNFREINDLY. I want to see my photos when I open the app, not a huge photo of on this day, then have to scroll down to see my photos that have been download. not 5☆ now!
