Worked great and was pretty easy to use...until it was made to be incompatible with my phone. I can't afford to buy a new phone just to use an app even if the mobile website is worse. All other apps I have work except this one.

Randomly stopped allowing me to sign in unless I complied with a forced update. The previous version worked just fine for me until they "broke" it.
They provide information that they find convenient for themselves, lacking a lot of the information and explanation you would expect from such a big company.

No app notification, no follow up email, messages, etc. Only bare minimum effort taken to not screw me over completely, and zero remorse for screwing over a loyal 5 year customer with 100% on time payments. They have no loyalty to their customers and are perfectly happy destroying your finances.
The app keeps logging me out in the middle of doing things when being transfered by the chat. please fix this or increase the silly timeout
two factor authentication every time, even with biometric login. why bother?

connect to my bank was a process, nearly 7 times to connect to AMEX, and it still doesn't work
Waited on hold 1 hour and 40 minutes and still no one picked up and I hung up. Had to listen to the same generic 10 second dumb music clip on repeat that whole time. They can't even afford to play music for people they keep on hold forever. Glad I just transferred all my money to other savings accounts.
this card is the worst ive ever used for business and is constantly on hold, declined, and does not work with keyBank by constantly refusing payments and losing bank account information
the app refuses to make my cell phone a trusted device which is incredibly annoying
After 31 years of having the Amex card, they decided to cancel it because we had not used it recently. According to them they sent out emails (but not mail or website warning), the first we heard of it was when we called in to see why we received a renewal card for wife and not for husband. According to them they cannot reinstate the card, so we would have to apply for a new card which wouldn't do our 800+ credit rating much good. So I think the app sucks because it's attached to idiots.🙄
Does not care about customers since 1982
not a very user friendly design overall. Fails to effectively send notifications, and navigation is a nightmare due to poor backend integration.
I've had the same password and now I couldn't use it or biometrics.
Repetitive login issues, this app is basically useless, and the customer support for it is ZERO. What was the eschelon for customer service is now worse than Capital 1.
The app won't let me make payments.
app was downloaded but it never shows in the app library of my Samsung android phone :(
System not responding. Fix your app. You want my payment? Fix this nonsense. The website is substandard too.
