zero stars it keeps logging me in and can't verify my phone number for no reason and the support team does nothing but send automatic replies that don't help
I pay for SUPER over a year and have Organized 10+ events, but no-showsup are ruining the app! its Sad People book but never reply to chats or show up! We need a booking deposit/payment feature to ensure commitment! Also, please add a system where if someone doesn't confirm 100% at least 24h before, they are automatically removed! It’s frustrating to manage "ghost" accounts that don’t communicate! I’m tired of organizing for ZERO attendees. Please fix this to keep the community real and active!
genuinely ridiculous concept for an app - I get it's a product made to earn money but you can't even use it due to locked regions. maybe limit the amount of people you can message, not lock entire regionsj
I'm tired of receiving constant invitations and notifications for inappropriate events from women who clearly dont exist and are just scammers.
since I haven't even used it, due to app restrictions, I have to give it a single star. The app restricts users of accessing their "area"/city, if not enough users in that area installed the app. This is the biggest con of any app I've used. It's not even that there aren't any users in that area (there are, and a lot) but because the app needs around 3000/3500 users to unlock that area, you'll only be able to use it until this is accomplished. After at least 6M of waiting for people, it's 👋🏻

You can't message people without a paid subscription which costs quite a lot as well. The app seems to be based around making money instead of providing a good service. You can make an event, but then there were paid options as well for that... So don't bother. You might as well get Couchsurfing or something else instead.

Too small to bother using. Living in a big city, the area is still "locked" because there are not enough people. Not to mention the corporate greed for money on this app. Listen to the reviews.

in Australia it's utterly useless Because it's incredibly stupid to have a social app based designed to connect people and then to restrict its usage until 12000 people are using it in each area

Everything is paid, you can't see any event. I put all my data for around 10 minutes, i verified my phone number to end up with a screen asking me to become "super amigos" otherwise you can't see any event around you. At least give the chance to try some events before starting a paid sub

They say that the are is locked till enough people are logged in, but if you pay you can contact people anyway. I would understand the excuse of them needing a certain amount of people for a proper use of the app, but considering that you can text people if you pay, that excuse has no basis. Just a cash grab, don't get the app.
I knew this app when I was in Amsterdam, but now I got ads here in Germany. I downloaded it, registered, but still can't do anything because it requires the paid subscription. It's useless unless you become super amigo
Used to be a fun app. I could message people who were up for something similar but now can't. Seen the developer respond to another comment saying some users were annoyed by getting messages to do things (the function of the app). Well then maybe that is a problem for them, but I had made friends on it before and now that is practically impossible, as I can't reach out to individuals and I prefer to do that to find like-minded people, rather than conversing in groups.
Pointless if you have no friends bc it requires you to invite friends to unlock your area lol
Was hoping to meet other people on here from the Denver area. Hardly anyone is on here and the whole US is locked due to hardly anyone on here. Not worth signing up for. App is being weird and won't allow me to delete my account.

Requires 20,000 people to sign up in my area for it to become available and we're at 1000. That ain't going to work
Worst app ever!! I tried to sign in but it doesn't go unless I put a photo, but when I upload a photo it says "something is wrong try again"
App is useless because the 600 who actually are ready in New York City to use amigo can't use (or spread the word about) amigo until there's 12,000 users in the area. So the app is already setting itself up for failure for no reason lol. Next app guys! 🤣🤣
I paid the "Super" upgrade, thinking it would possibly unlock areas. It didn't. It's not worth it. In my opinion, this app could be useful if "Amigos" unlocked the areas. Even if there aren't enough people who have joined.

Cant do anything. You need ENOUGH PEOPLE REGISTERED in ur area to UNLOCK IT. Austin is locked, but you need friends to unlock it...thats WHY I HAVE THE APP, to make friends. App is so dumb
The enshitification of services have hit this app. Nothing here for you, move on.
It's fine if you want to add a subscription service to the app for premium features but it's NOT fine when you literally remove features that were free to begin with. Taking away the chat functionality when it's been free for YEARS is really showcasing the incompetency of knowing your users and not delivering optimum user experience. I suggest rolling this back ASAP if you don't want your ratings to keep lowering. No reason to use this app anymore.
There is not a single screen on this app that you can go to without it trying to aggressively get you to pay money. Don't believe the copy-pasted response that the devs will give below this review - if you just want something for meetups, look elsewhere.
They paywalled the chat function after it being free for a long time. And the price is 4 eur a week to unlock the chat.
Wants too many details during signup without explaining why I'd share that, without even explaining what the app could do in the first place. Nonsense, crapware. Bonus points in idiocy: They spam you with "please confirm your account" mails for an account I didn't finish creating (see above), for an app I uninstalled. Bonus points²: You can't unsubscribe, because the unsubscribe button instead redirects to a "Download this app" page. It's hard to imagine a more terrible signup process
Literally anything I press brings me to the subscription free trial page making the app basically useless without one. Idk if this is a bug but yeah the app's not very usable without a subscription apparently
similar to meetup app/concept .... was excellent initially when everything was free...now you have to pay 4€ a month to do anything useful on the app... uninstalled since without being a paid subscriber you can't do much "useful" on the app :( :( :(

If you want meet friends you have to invite friends there, to unlock the map. Not logical. If u don't have friends and want to meet there them but I cannot because if this stupid rules
Bad interface..
It is not an intelligent move to lock the app to all cities, expect to have enough people to sign up to a frozen app out of the blue in order to unlock it. Who would sign up and how will they let the app's name be known if you don't allow people to use it, buffoons?

Not very good app. Why are not more choices than only to see from your city location? And if the app not have 5.000 people registered in your place, no access to your location, and same from different locations. What is the point of this? I will recommand this to use in 2000 years when someone will be more smarter. Do not waste your time with this app. It's your choice. I want my last 15 minutes back. 🤣🤫
