Far away from being a good app. when sending when finding way around it. App is disappointing but terms are good. David
I have tried to pay rent... failed. Some message comes through saying they can't pay to that specific account, which is strange since the automatic registration identified it and other banks never had issues. I try sending myself money to another account. Failed. The customer service is off shore and can't do anything except email a "Specialist Team" who don't get back to you. Absolute garbage organisation and I'll be raising a complaint with AFCA. Stay away! You've been warned!

This is most frustrating verification process i have encountered from any bank. it's not user friendly - uninstalled!
ID process is a terrible failed many times. I Wanted to open a savings account being asked my income is not appropriate.
When bank suffer inconvenience from customers we are charged with crazy fees But when the bank is incompetent and causes customer to suffer inconvenience, it is what it is. Who cares. And you'll never have a voice to complain. If you want to control over your money, this is not the bank for that. I am a cancer survivor and they caused me to go without money for over 12 hours and there is no legal recourse.
i was going to open an account but thanks gwad i read all the latest 2026 reviews and people complaining it is terrible app and phone calls are unreachable lol. i was going to deposit big amount for good interest rates. but not any more. uninstalling the app even before trying. thanks to everyone who wrote a genuine review and saved me. thankQ
when I launch the app it doesn't launch its frozen
This became my primary banking app but the latest update stopped it working on my Google Pixel phone and keeps crashing. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it but it didn't resolve the problem. The bank doesn't allow a desktop interface so I'm locked out of my money now. Please undo the latest update urgently
constant app crashing on pixel phones
app crashes on launch with error "DigitalAI RootDetection detected" Cute but your Ai is wrong. Device is not rooted and this is a false positive. Unfortunately AMP Go is app only so there is no way to log in online. 1-star for using Ai to poorly manage security. I'll change this rating when I am able to log in on a non-rooted phone. looks like amp are using a service by 3rd party digital.ai
The worst banking app I have ever seen. They could not even copy some of the very good apps by other banks. I am a bit surprised as to how someone can provide good review to this app. Another big negative is that the app does not have Log out button. It says that every time you exit, app will ask for login details, however that is not the case. You have to kill the app to make sure it is logged out. They didn't even test it to find out that the app doesn't log out by exiting.
Cannot even open the app on GrapheneOS. Crashes immediately after opening.

You need to fix the misleading and deceptive omissions around your AMP Go Account. It is hidden that you do not earn interest on the account that gets opened because it's a transaction account. This error cost me almost $1000 this month. In addition, it is also not clearly stated before opening the account that you only earn QFF points based on your transaction account balance only.
not what I was looking for
The joy of agile development, releasing a Minimum Viable Product, so you are first to market and then drip feeding new updates. Hate to tell you, you're 10 years too late with your banking app. We tried to open a joint savings account, to be told that feature is not available yet... That was the point of us joining. App seems reasonably slick, but is missing what I would call base functionality. Now take that back to your scrum master and stick it on your Kanban board.

They don't answer our phone call and logging in is very complicated. This is the worst ever bank .
UPDATED EDIT: I advise against using this financial institution. My experience with them has repeatedly put me in significant financial stress and consistently caused prolonged inconvenience to me and my finances. When brought to their attention, they had no urgency to resolve any situations they were responsible for, give me any explanation, and repeatedly assured me that nothing was wrong and that it wouldn't happen again.
criminals (just check the royal commission). no customer service and make information impossible to find, bury crucial details at the expense of customers money.
Saying it is out of date when only app available for download
cant make new payments, any correspondence is severely slow. bank took $99 off me the other day and I'm still unsure as to why
the advertising is misleading
Suddenly cannot transfer funds from savings to personal account (cannot connect to server on this app). Reported to AMP and been told it can take up to 30 days to get resolved. So potentially 30 days without access to your own money.
Clunky app, lacks intuitive flow. No ability to schedule transfers between savings and personal accounts which is realy a negative attribute. Just remediating this issue would earn a couple of additional stars. Current request and link to update app does not provide the ability to do so, kinda usless. Bit of a puzzle realy.
I'm still stuck on verifying my identity so I can use the app, even when I've been a customer. The app just asks and asks for documentation for my identity, I feel a little violated. No other bank has ever done that, app or no app. And verification process is very long, at least half a day, slower than signing up for gas and electricity.
don't use this. go with a different bank. This app is poorly designed. caused me a loss of interest on a large sum of money.

takes way to long for verification
the worst banking app I've ever used. not at all intuitive. difficult to navigate. sometimes takes 5 or 6 attempts to open the app. can't see all of your account balances on one page. can't set up automatic transfers from the every day account to savings. doesn't remember reference numbers for BPay payments. you have to make 3 transfers to get money from "spaces" to pay a bill. you have to put a reference just to transfer between you own accounts. I could go on...
It's a bank app, which should follow the common practice instead of being different from others. People don't want to spend time to figure out what to do.
clunky and cant seem to open a joint Go account from a joint transaction account. keeps on opening in one name.
Clunky app that requires you to switch between everyday and savings accounts instead of just showing you all balances on the front page. Adding funds to savings spaces would be far better if it were part of the transfer into the savings account rather than requiring a second process after the funds have gone in. It would be good if the app developers used some other banking apps to see how a good app works.
it's a decent app that is easy to use . A few limitations the main one being unable to receive funds from overseas unlike ANZ plus. AMP needs to keep innovating and not just turn into another ING that stopped innovating and developing over a decade ago
