I was supposed to be charged after my 7-day free trial, instead I got charged immediately without even using and experiencing the app at first. Please refund my money. I'm more than happy to pay after my Free trial if I'm happy with the app.

Shame as im sure the recipies are great if I could actually access them.

I would rate the recipes with five stars; however, my one-star rating is due to an ongoing issue with access to the app. For over a month, I have been unable to access the content I am paying for, as the application is always frozen upon launch, preventing any navigation. Clearing the cache has not resolved this problem. Please fix this or refund me!
Must purchase before seeing the ingredients of the recipe.
No way to export recipes, or shopping list to another app. There are immensely superior tools to manage shopping and meal plans. I've paid for the recipes, let me access them on the website, or export them to our familys most used food app. Subscription cancelled.
It's very glitchy. It doesn't load pages. subscribed because I have loved the recipe book we have. I thought there would be a lot more content with recipes from the website organised on an app. This is not the case. There are some new recipes but very limited. I'd recommend her books and using the recipes on her website.

Not working
She has free recipes on her website. I have 2 Annabel Karmel books. The app says "free with in app purchases". I thought maybe she has bonus stuff for a fee or maybe there's a donation thing but no straight away it asking for a subscription of $50 a year. I paid about $25 for her books. Maybe I would consider a one off $25 for the app, but I wouldn't even use it for more then a year. It doesn't have the production cost of a book nor can I hand it down to someone. Library is free also.

Great app in theory. However, you can not see what age group recipes are for when clicking on recipes. Also, the search bar jumps around, so you can not see what you are searching for. This is on an Android phone.
Lots of bugs on this app, cant use the filters or meal planner section. Waste of money.

Does not function on Android. The app store version for iPhones work so much better and a lot of content is missing on the Android version. Recipes do not display the age they are intended for like they do on iPhones, so You have to search under each category to find age appropriate food. The search function also does not work and overall it is very buggy and sloppy
The app's information architecture is needlessly obtuse, making navigation a frustrating ordeal. It's disheartening when a seemingly simple task turns into a confusing maze due to poor design choices. Moreover, the meal planner, which should be a helpful feature, falls short of expectations. The drop-down menus are consistently non-responsive, rendering the planner more of a hassle than a convenience. To make matters worse, various combinations of navigation resulted in a complete app freeze.
User experience is awful. I cant even subscribe as it keeps saying I've done my free trial (I havent) I'm happy to pay but it keeps saying error and not working!
The recipes lack detail and some of the instructions don't make sense - they need proof reading. I didn't like the recipe I tried. However it's good for inspiration and the app is eaay to navigate.
Difficult to navigate. You cannot filter through recipes, and when you go back, it takes you back to the home screen. I've reached out several times to the developers and they keep saying it's going to get fixed and that was months ago.
Dangerous! Recipes are in age categories & errors have led to recipes being in the wrong age categories. Meaning children from 6 months have recipes that include honey - a huge NO! Also sugar & that's just in one recipe. The team advised it's an error. I would be cautious of other ingredients etc. You don't pay for an app to have to Google each recipes ingredients to ensure they are OK. You would trust the research & reputation of the app which you cannot. Very Dangerous & not user friendly!
I'm so confused. I paid for the app it work then it didn't over ans over again. Now it's all gone ans it's a subscription of so much per month. So what happened to the app I paid for?

Very hard to navigate and I find it frustrating that when you click to a view a recipe and then go back, it takes you back to the main page again. It's a shame as I really like Annabel's recipes
Charged me but now the app is crashed on the homepage?!?
Can't even log in as declines every payment method I have tried. What's the point of advertising it so much of it doesn't work? Please fix the issue as it looks like it can be a very helpful tool.

There is the option to save recipes as in your favourites. The recipe will appear momentarily and then will disappear. If you are looking to go back to a recipe you need to remember the exact name of it. It's always freezing. At the moment I can't use the app at all.
Since the latest update (22nd Jan 2026) my password is no longer accepted in the app. I can log in on the website but the recipe I had planned to make (and bought ingredients for) isn't there! Not sure what has happened with this update but something has gone wrong...
the recipe says 6 doesn't specify the temperatures. can you please amend this! I never knew how to cook the recipes in the oven and left guessing! It's really bad since I paid for this!
The app picks and choices when it's going to load which is extremely frustrating, the recipes are good and helpful when they do load but it's not worth the stress when it doesn't work most of the time
App is slow to load, and recently it crashes when I try to read a recipe.
Wouldn't suggest paying for this app - very buggy. Looks good and is informative, but it's useless for meal planning on my Samsung S22. Can't delete recipes saved in the shopping list & none of the filter options in the meal planner section work so I cant create meal plans. Makes the app pretty useless - and I'm paying monthly for it. Raised this with the team on 18 March & still no resolution. Have to chase for a reply & takes over a week to respond + feedback is not helpful.
Some nice recipes on this app - but a huge WARNING to parents of babies, the age categories do NOT work, e.g. in the 9-12 month age category there are recipes in there that contain sugar and salt, I even saw one recipe with Tabasco!! It's such a shame, this app seems to be a dumping ground of recipes with no (functional!) structure or organisation. Definitely not worth the subscription fee.
The content in this app is good, but the user experience design is frustrating and difficult to navigate as an Android user. When you scroll through and view a recipe, if you press back, then it takes you to the home screen instead of where you left off from scrolling. This means you need to look and scroll back to where you were to continue where you left off. In the planner, you are unable to search recipes from your 'Favourites' and have to find the recipe from all content.
