biometric login is broken
The latest 'enhancement' tells me to update my profile. I checked my profile and changed one thing but I still have to cancel the update your profile message every time I use it. To enhance something and make it worse is stupid.
great app, but how come it took you from the 3rd of june, untill the 21st of june to push this app update to me thru google playstore. isnt that a bit tardy for a financial institutuon?

One of the most lacking banking apps you'll find. This app makes the Westpac app look good.

impossible to use and no way to get support. very disappointing and frustrating
I'm bank surfing at the moment and thought I'd try ANZ again. This app sucks. There's no running total in your bank account and no actual account balance on the home screen, you have to press into the account to see what the actual available funds are. Clearly whoever designed this app banks with someone else. It's been this way for years and ANZ don't look like they'll change it any time soon.
Charging 19% interest on a loan is just highway robbery. the app was fine but the company very robotic. I am very exited to leave the company for a better bank.

How is it that a company that makes 6 billion profit annually can't get simple functions on their app to work? can't edit my profile "something went wrong" to add my email. can't contact support chat with infinite loading, yet my internet is fine. Regretting setting up an account with anz
unnecessarily complicated way to reverify my account settings
Message US in android app never worked for me. I'm tired of pressing it and always says...connecting...reminding me of the old modem connection sound..at least that used to connect after a while

Review left years ago no longer relevant. ANZ didn't give me loan 300k for a block of land I had 100k I could access for payments or pay off the principal and take 200k loan. but refused finance. that block sold for 700k a year later. So they cost me 400k in a year. Using app for a few months now and I have no trouble using it transfer money to different accounts easily. Still need to speak with tellers about loans and to access cash. Face to face banking is still a pleasant experience for me
Very basic app and lacks many of the features other banking apps offer. For a bank that makes millions in profit every year, you’d expect a much more modern app that’s on par with other banking apps. What’s really frustrating is that the app no longer saves recipients. Every time you want to transfer money to the same person, you have to re-enter all their details again. Previously, recipients could be saved automatically during transfers, which was more convenient. Don't know what changed.
what an absolute joke, can't even access my CRN, contact details, preferences or security to update passwords!!! PULL YOUR FINGER OUT ANZ
Still hasn't fixed the problem of not showing the balance summary screen when viewing recently used apps! Android. Still not fixed years later. Get off your arses and fix this!!! And now, transactions still showing as pending.

*UPDATE* Why does the "message us" function NEVER work now? I work full-time; I don't have time to be travelling 30 minutes (in the opposite direction to my work) to ask for an empty spare account to be closed. What have you done to this app?!?
Doesn't allow you to update details. Awful. A whole morning wasted for something they say is easy!
Gouge customers with account keeping fees on extra savings accounts when they already deposit $2k and spend $ on credit card. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANZ
would not let me even register & setup the app. Even with details & passwords I've used for 30+yrs! over the phone etc with ANZ 🤦🏼. 2-3hrs on phone & given new number try and use to see if it works & still nothing works 🤦🏼. Not even the menu system they use worked. Back to snail mail for account information. & new bank asap
shocking inability for one bank to avoid the Ning two platforms! two disparate systems. credit card balance takes days and days to catch-up. notifications are late by order of hours! absolutely appalling.

I try to install the updated version of the app. Message says 'will be installed on your device soon' and nothing happens. So frustrating. Tried installing new updated anx app on my phone because the old version no longer works however it does not install. I've tried many times. So frustrating.

I received 2 letters from ANZ on Thursday. they both indicated that the illegal debit of $104 was being disconttinued because I didn't respond. I have no idea how I was supposed to respond because you letter included the illegal entry from my account. that proved to me that you had as much information as I have so what could I tell you. it has cost me 7.4 percent of my pension payment to have your incompetence indicate that there was nothing you would do. it seems that anyone can debit my
Only if your Einstein can you figure this app out. As a 70 plus, it's nothing but a pain in the butt. No such thing as customer service any more. As soon as I get into town, anz, your gone, useless, complicated and half the time you can't get in, like today.

Difficult to navigate for account management functions. where is the access online to customer support. All I wanted to do was reduce my credit card limit.
Have to quit the app and log in again to access funds that have just been received. The transaction shows up but funds are not available until logging in again. App forces phone to vibrate even when set not to vibrate.

Extremely disappointed with the app and also the people supporting it. The simple process of raising a dispute for a transaction is so complicated. Every time a human comes up to chat, they ask for my address, email and contact number again and again. Looks like they don't even trust their own app. I can scroll up the chat and see everything that I provided. The humans chatting from ANZ side need it again and again every few minutes. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!

id recently transferred some money to the account and unexpectedly found myself unabke to sign in using biometrics. im not sure if its becsuse i tried adding another fingerprint to the device to deliniate phone access to banking app portal access (ie you never know whats ported where) but was an issue. i just hope theres room/features to set and store a fingerprint on the app/ac when i restore access as youd think verfifying with the portal not the google account would be needed to regulate ac..
