AT&T blocks this future, makes you pay for theirs and theirs doesn't work. they created a problem they dont have the solution for but will charge you for it lol. im done with ATT. update it's gotten worse lol. absolutely useless
I had to delete and reinstall the app because it wouldn't open and now when I try to reset up my account on my phone it just keeps giving an error message so annoying!
this app doesn't work well in blocking spam calls and I have block unknown numbers on and I'll still getting massive amounts of calls. this is literally useless. I had someone from AT&T help set it up already so your response does not help.
Well, since reading all these negative rating and comments, I would not update the apps. Why offer updates if the app becomes useless.
Active Armor is scanning every few minutes by itself need your help to stop this problem
if its not one thing it's TEN! MORE billing issues-" downsized" to the 55+ version. SUPPOSED to be $55 after discounts (YES, I did everything as instructed)...somehow, it's STILL >$91⁰⁰ !!! ALSO, just updated the active armor app and now it refuses to scan my device. Thanks for making the decision to change provider a no-brainer. BTW, how DO I rate you less than 1 star, anyway?!? Better yet, ZERO ☆?!?

The app is no longer working. I am unable to scan my phone for threats, spam calls are coming thru & the Safe Browsing feature has will not stay toggled on. Other reviews mention the app not working either. I don't know if it was the latest update or what. I've been using the app for years & never had a problem until now.
not always working
Was working great for a long time having it, over a year. Now all of a sudden out of the blue it has stopped working. Can't scan for malware etc. Starting to get very angry about this ! Please help and fix whatever caused this glitch. From reading other reviews, looks like many are having same issues. Fix this PLEASE.
The VPN that comes with this app was working fine for the first week or two after I installed it. But now, it never activates when it's supposed to and I never get URL monitoring anymore. This app was working fine back in June. Now, it's not. This is an updated review. This app has started to work well but with the most recent update on May 2nd 2026, it won't allow me to scan for malware anymore. I will give this app zero stars until this is fixed ASAP!!!!!!!!!

it hasn't worked for me or the other phone on our plan ever. I'm not sure how many times we have to click activate before I stop getting the message that I've not activated it, but 3 people and 5 different phone late it still won't activate, which just makes it annoying. I got our phones and plans though Costco. you have to do better.
It's hard to believe that this app could get any worse, but the latest update did exactly that! You guys couldn't protect our personal data from hackers. I'm not sure why you think you can develop an app to stop spam.

I can't even access the app. Every time I try to open it, there is an error and it says that something went wrong.
it blocks 1 out 10 spam calls!! works terrible, I get a lot a of spam calls since I moved to AT&T. TERRIBLE! ****REPLY TO DEVELOPER: I did went through all the settings and app still letting "Spam Calls" go through. I looked online and everyone is having the same issues, while AT&T blocks the built in android app that works 10 times better.

Currently I re-subscribed and the subscription is not using my personal account which is linked. It was using my work account and now I deleted that account it is saying that the subscription can't be found. The app is buggy and becoming an issue. Please fix.

Last update ruined this app.
permissions for the app are intrusive. It has control over my screen, keyboard, sms, contacts, reading calls and texts. Runs in background and foreground. it can control camera, taking photos and videos. Can access all files.....etc. This app is supposed to be for security only. It's access to texts and calls should be limited to incoming to provide security in blocking malicious attempts and spam. reading texts and calls are a violation of my privacy. 500 words for review, not enough!!!!

Half or more of my personal contacts are told their call is restricted. Their calls don't get through to me. Its complicated and I don't like it. Want it removed from m phone .
You cannot avail yourself of the free version. And, if you're an AT&T subscriber, the pay version can't be added to your bill every month. What a scam!
still get calls from all types of numbers. This app doesn't block spam even when I have spam calls blocked. I have to block calls that are allowed and now I have blocked over 350 calls.
Hasn't done a thing for me. My phone just slated it for deep sleep. Not sure how it got a 4.3 rating, all I see are negatives. I believe it will be uninstalled.

this was a good app. I had a subscription and it was raised in price to $7 per month. It refunded my payment because it said I didn't have it set up. I've had this setup since day 1. Now it won't even open!

You need to fix your app. I get a number that is marked as spam which I have it set to block but the very next minute they spammers call from the same number. I should not have to block certain numbers. if your system says it is spam and blocks it the leave it blocked. I should not receive if it has been marked as spam at all

Ever since the update last week Active Armor has been continually scanning my apps and files all day long. Yesterday I uninstalled it then reinstalled it. This morning I received a system message that Active Armor is overloading my cell phone CPU. The Device tab shows that 2000+ items have been scanned in the last 12 hours. This is ridiculous. I'm disabling this app.
