I uninstalled it. it doesn't properly fill in my passwords or save them. I don't know if the service is really doing me any good? i can't choose a specific place for the VPN in my state like i can with another one. this one is way more confusing to use and it doesn't explain well enough what the vault is and how it helps.

Scam of a company. They upgraded to yearly without my explicit signing. I asked to cancel the yearly version and it took them a while, so I filed a chargeback. They canceled my plan and disputed chargeback to BofA after already canceling the yearly plan so they kept my money. Fraudsters

AURA APP KEEPS CRASHING! As many other reviewers have noted, this app frequently crashes. I get a notification from my Android operating system once or twice a week saying the Aura app has crashed & recommending I put the app in deep sleep. But if I do that I will not receive real time credit alerts & notifications regarding my credit, which pretty much makes the app useless. Aura technical support has been aware of the problem for months, but has no idea how to fix it. $240/yr rip off!
phone was stolen as well as attempted ID theft. The app wouldn't let me log in, at no point in time did I get re-entry to the app, let alone assistance with the attempted identity theft. I had to report it to the CIA ffs, as am not a simple civilian. Still have not got any assistance, and the service automatically charged despite me canceling my service... Chargeback time. #HoodooMachineSpirits #CIA

Horrible, they charged me hidden fees, they don't actually do anything with your information, besides sell your information. They will claim they don't sell you information. If you call them they are very rude , try to over talk you, talk down to you. They dont offer any refunds for their hidden fees. In fact they don't even stop scam callers, but they preach they do. I would highly recommend not using these people. When requesting a supervisor they tried avoid sending me to supervisor
I used Aura when they were just doing privacy. They seem to have pivoted into more than just email removal from brokers. I canceled a while back and checked the app today before uninstalling and found the app is locked behind a subscription page. I can't look at my account, delete my data, nor can I look at my account history. This is terrible UX and quite obnoxious. I can not review what they supposedly did while I was subscribed - perhaps it's because they aren't proud of their work...
Well I just paid $108 and the app doesn't work. So what now? I keep being forced to install the app for every email and when I download the app the logo screen just sits there with the logo A and bar above it going back and forth for over 3 minutes with nothing. Uninstall and reinstall, still nothing. Fix this so I can use it before I cancel and get a refund. Your links to complete steps force me to the app, but the app won't work. *Each issue is met with call us instead of you fixing your app!!
The app is never working properly to fill the password. Everytime I have to go open the app, search for the password and copy paste it. It should detect text inputs and suggest autofill. This is not working properly even though necessary permissions are given. Also, can we have the possibility to categorize passwords into folders or categories? + possibility to add international phone numbers to monitoring vault... this is a basic feature most other password manager apps have. thanks.
someone is responsible for fraud on my account. I did not give permission for this charge. I don't want the service until the end of the month I want a full refund
when you look up for a free antivirus in the app and it pulls your all's app up then when it's downloaded it is not free

Paid for Introductory Adware, (price to good to be true). First of all I had trouble downloading, Aura app. Ended up getting a full refund, because ended up not compatible for Galaxy Samsung Android.
Aura’s security breach caused a total digital& physical collapse for my disabled family.Their failure leaked kid’s SSNs & our home address,enabling targeted stalking by impersonators.We are now facing systemic civil rights violations &illegal gatekeeping of our 1915(i) waivers &VAWA emergency move.I have rejected Aura’s $250 check.This case is being escalated for formal federal and civil rights investigations into Aura’s gross negligence & the life-threatening fallout for vulnerable users

Yeah refund people's money for the annual plan. Such a ridiculous price. The renewal price is insane. I've canceled your over priced service and will never be using it again. Word of mouth. No one I speak with will ever use your services.
this is a service that gives your data to data brokers for them to remove it. seems quite similar to extortion from the mob for "protection". it does nothing for actual identity theft prevention or protection.

they need my permission for literally everything. all calls take about 2 hrs and barely get resolved. im a very busy man and, so far, the main reason why im paying for this app cant be done. infuriatingly frustrating
signed up wanting to freeze & monitor accounts it continued asking other questions and it was frustrating. I am going to cancel fearing the rest of the (site) will be similar.
I keep getting notified of the same password leak. I have marked it as taken care of but keep getting notified.
I love their protection and other features. I'd give them a 5, except the Icon to turn on and off the VPN is dysfunctional alot of the time and will just show connecting but never connect. I have to open the app and then the VPN won't even open in the app. The VPN is one of the reason I bought this product.
I guess it does what it's supposed to, but I was searching for a bit more. This is a waste of money for my purpose.
I don't know how to read but if I could, I'm sure most comments are "they don't tell it's no free until after you down the app" immediate uninstall. you are going to the bad place

app turned off by itself for hours when I woke up I looked my phone battery was almost dead was about to activate VPN again and it miraculously turned on by itself again
16-26$ a month to use there services. they do offer a 14 day trial.
Procede with caution. The premise is good I guess... what I wasn't expecting is 3 calls in 2 days from Aura to "Help me with my account set up". I signed up for this service to AVOID these type of calls! Also lots attempts to sell other services and many emails from the data brokers to "Confirm" my personal info before deleting it. I wasn't comfortable with this. I canceled my account and deleted the app. Now will have to deal with the never ending emails from Aura, ect...
I want to like Aura, and think it is very easy to use and has a lot of great features, however, I agree that there are still a few major bugs that need to be worked out. For example, the public records that it pulls may be out of date (for auto and home/deed), as well as the AI powered data removal services being a bit too powerful. I just recently found out that I am being removed from some of the "good" data broker sites, such as voting registration and credit/rent reporting.
