A nice idea-if only it actually worked. I’ve been trying for days to get the app on my laptop to connect with the one on my phone... to no avail. Apparently, my devices are too well-protected by my antivirus software. This app has cost me a great deal of frustration and, unfortunately, hasn't brought me a single step closer to my goal!
nix funktioniert
Ich habe gerade über eine Stunde gebraucht um mich mit dieser App zu identifizieren für eine Urkunde die ich brauche. Von wegen einfach und schnell von zu Hause. Im Amt wäre ich nach 10 draußen gewesen (ist nur leider zu weit weg). Warum muss das so extrem kompliziert sein und ständig: Fehler bei der Übertragung oder Sie sind gerade nicht berechtigt oder ihre Karte konnte nach dem 10 Versuch nicht gefunden werden? Überarbeitetet die App endlich.
useless app, if you come from a different country and you want to make your ID or passport verification it's not going to work just because they are verifying only german ID's and passport's

"Connection to ID card lost" whenever I try to change a PIN Tried on iPhone and Android phones - same result, even though info can be retrieved from the card. So either the app bug which is not being fixed for months or the card is defective but the app isn't able to tell it. In both cases - the issue is in the app

Funktioniert halt manchmal nicht. Tolle entbürokratisierung: Authentifikator app, Ausweis app, hälfte des krams funktioniert die hälfte der Zeit so gut wie unser Beamtentum.

Simply never works. Phone and computer are always connected to the same router but pairing always gives me an error and the phone's card reader is never detected by the computer.

update 2.4.1 verhindert die Verbindung des Programmes zu Webseiten, die nach einer Anmeldung mit BundID fragen.
Wie fast jede deutsche App ist auch diese schlecht durchdacht. Der größte Nachteil ist, dass man das Smartphone nur über WLAN als NFC-Lesegerät nutzen kann.
the app itself works OK. ELSTER is insane, though
did what it was supposed to. also worked in English but nagged me for a second review. the nagging cost it 2 stars. if i get asked Again i will knock off another.
