old version was so much faster and easier to use
you guys broke the app and the web version. it's absolute garbage now. you should revert back to the previous versions.

The new version is atrocious. Difficult to use, spammed with ads. The new reviews speak volumes. This app is only still rated well because it's holding on to the coat-tails of the old app. WHICH WAS GOOD.

ever since you updated the app I can't even search for a trailer a travel trailer.. why did you have to overcomplicate the most simplistic app . you're definitely going to lose business over this over complication..
UI change ruined the experience. Now it's not intuitive and harder to navigate. Terrible.
Terrible app. It's not saving any searches or favourited vehicles. Constant errors. Please fix this Autotrader Canada. It's been like this for months.

New app sucks!
way too confusing. when ypu leave the app it should reset the vehicle selections. the key word thing should reset...everything is not user friendly...and adding other vehicles that don't pertain to the choice you made

Tried to get info on a car that was for sale on your website for close to 3 weeks. Sent emails to seller and to you...no response. Yesterday I get an email from you saying the car is sold...🤦♂️
Old version worked great, I can only assume they introduced AI or some other busy work to keep their developers paid and ruined the app. Classic enshi*ification. I'll reinstall when you restore it to its old identity and if I hear about that being done.
new app is terrible
the update is terrible. doesn't remember removing favorites. so many ads. brutal.
The old Auto Trader was much easier to use. My opinion entirely.

I hate the new design because it keeps trying to be "smart" and force me into taking actions I don't want. I don't want to be notified, so stop forcing that decision on me every two minutes.

It takes five steps now to do what used to be one! A simple thing like choosing a trim has been made ridiculous. And you actually have to click specifically just to find the colour. Everything that was neatly laid out on one page with a nice little summary of points under the mileage in now a search and rescue mission! Way to galaxy brain an app that wasn't broken. I can't wait to buy a car so I never have to deal with this app again.
UI was recently changed so they can feed you more ads. It's cluttered now and less intuitive.

Why do you keep changing everything? The current layout is pretty bad in comparison to what we had before. Nothing seems to work as well as before, if I minimize the app for any reason, it completely forgets my search and location. You also can't search for multiple brands anymore like you used to be able to. Samsung s25 ultra, android 16.
New UI is genuinely horrendous, way too much going on, very little information is acutally useful, UI is just unnecessarily trying to do so much
Whenever I want to list an ad it takes me to the website instead of the app I downloaded even though before you could just list it on the app. Even better when you save a listing as a draft and try to edit it again, there is no option in the app to go to your listing. So you need to go to thier trash website to try to find your draft and find the listings option, WHERE IT GOES BACK TO THE APP HOMEPAGE WHEN YOU CLICK IT. Whoever is in charge of this new UI needs to be FIRED.
now even worse than before. perhaps you thought the old app couldnt be worse, but autotrader found a way to make it even more clunky! And theres more! Searches either fail ("sorry something went wrong"), or return no results when the website has cars listed with the same criteria. not bad enough? don't worry, the distance filter doesnt work either, so you can enjoy seeing cars you wont go see! This is poorly designed and doesnt even work when you do get through the horrible filter interface.
whenever I set my search filters and hit results, the filters reset to the initial search from like minutes ago. I keep going in to change the filters, but it just seems to reset to the initial search filters .
the new update is clunky and more difficult to use than the old one. Revert back to the old layout it worked much better than this abomination.
You just couldn't leave it alone, could you!! May 2026. did a forced update by you. what a cluster F!!! I used to be able to do a quick search in seconds. now? where's the trim level option???! omf. why!?!?! I can't just switch to searching for an RV now?? where's THAT!? If the plan was to drive people crazy and away from your app, congratulations

The amount of ads are far more than the result of whatever you are searching. Horrible, is the word for this app.

wow. what a heap of trash this app is now. used to be great, just the same as using the website. Now its garbage. Definitely uninstalling. It does not show all the listings properly. the website displays way more results. the UI is worse now than before. using the filters before used to be easy. It was fine the way it was, worked just like the website. why you bothered wasting money re doing it is beyond me. it worked. leave it alone.
