I have been subscribed for over a year,but I still have issues with the app recognizing the subscription when I open it. Sometimes I have to close the app 2-3 times for it to work properly , which isn't helpful for allowing my son to communicate. today I couldn't get it to work at all, so I am unsubscribing and deleting the app. Other apps are more expensive, I know, but this is practically unusable.

I find this app very useful! one of the best ones! just please make the speech option free, because having to show my device screen to people stresses me and makes me feel uncomfortable, while having the words automatically speak out when I tap it, helps me a lot. especially since I can't look up or make eye contact often

Its a SCAM to get your money!!!!!! Highly DO NOT recommend!!!!!!!! They just said not their problem!!! Highly unprofessional!!!!!

Nope. Never got to use the app. Can't even try it without giving up personal information like your email address, child's name, etc. and you have to create an account online to even look at the program. No thank you. A person would have to be gullible to give this information to a stranger.
Actually insane how the one thing most needed, the voice feature, is a paid feature. Symbols I could care less about, but the voice? Really? That's the main reason anyone downloads an aac app. And it's subscription based, too, not even a one-time purchase. Edit: I personally don't care what you need to keep it updated. This is someone's voice. Don't lock the bare minimum behind a paywall someone might not be able to pay. This is someone's method of communication. Do better.
I was deeply disappointed to discover that this app, named “Avaz” a word of Persian origin meaning “voice” or “song” does not support the Farsi language. I had hoped to use it for a non-verbal autistic child who speaks Farsi. It’s very disappointing that a tool designed to give people a voice would exclude the very language its name comes from (culturally insensitive comes to mind). I urge the developers to respect the Persian roots of this word and include Farsi or change the name of the app.
Would rate 0 stars if could, I can't use to speech on app unless I have subscribe, it really pissed me off because I struggle speech often and speech apps usually help, but this one you have to payfor would not recommend!

I was disappointed to find out you need to pay more that a hunderd pounds for a comunicater.
requires login, seems to be free trial, has cool alt words but i camt figure out how to customize the alt words. also doesn't respond to the taps very well and feels slow.

Saw it suggested on tiktok. Uninstalled as soon as i saw its a free trial thing. No thanks. I'm disabled and autistic. I will never be able to afford an AAC app. All of them want hundreds of dollars. Stop exploiting autistic people.
couldn't use it, they don't have portuguese in there. i saw a recommendation for this app on tiktok but it's useless for me, my family don't speak english so i cant communicate with them nonverbally through this app :(
I really enjoyed this app for my nonverbal episodes. when i tried to open and use it today (Aug 9th 2022) it wouldn't speak my buttons. it was VERY stressful and infuriating...

Confusing to use. Would not recommend.
Was good while it worked. We recently canceled the subscription because, despite paying, it kept reverting to a message that we had a trial plan and couldn't use the app features. Nobody has time to keep contacting support for a temporary fix for this.
Not synced on other devices I downloaded the app on another devices and the buttons and folders are not on that device and I'm using the same account I'm very disappointed
I really enjoyed it while we had the free trial, but after I paid for it, it's only on the device I used to pay it with (my phone). It's not showing up on my son's tablet who is non verbal due to hearing loss and really needs and enjoyed the app and having a way to communicate. Please fix it!!

Its a great app and all but it's hard to make a decision on buying something if the "free trial" expired 3 months before you even downloaded the app for the first time. I downloaded it because I thought it'd be a good substitute while we're waiting on my sons aac device and it had sort of the same set up and everything but it won't let me even try any of the features your supposed to get with buying it like editing the buttons or changing the voice. Don't know if it's a bug or not
I'm sure it's great for alot of people. However my son can't understand this app, and it's extremely limited, the choices for words are so few you can't even make sense using it... Disappointed
Spoke only one time but after that it refuses to speak, I've tried all sorts of things too. I'm so angry! Also why must we pay to speak? Just say you want to profit off us autistics and be honest
Had lots of fun when I first installed; the layout was great, and it helped me express my needs as a semi-verbal autistic individual. However, the subscription plans are vile and demand lots of money for basic features, including text-to-speech. A one-year subscription is worth over $100, including taxes. It is greatly exploitative of the disabled simply trying to communicate.
Crashing CONSTANTLY (AT LEAST ONCE EVERY TIME I HAVE OPENED IT >:( , skipping words or cutting off mid sentence, I will have typed an entire paragraph and then it crashes and it is INFURIATING! PLEASE FIX THIS! >:(
I've been using this app as my AAC because I cannot afford an iPad or proloquo2go. It is frustrating, crashes VERY often (causing extreme frustration because I will have typed a whole sentence and then it crashes), and doesn't compare, but seems to be the best alternative to proloquo unfortunately. I wish I could say better things.
