I had the previous Avigilon Alta Open app. It worked pretty good and was compatible with my Samsung Note 8. Now this new version comes out, automatically deletes the old app and leaves me unable to have access to my building.
what a horrible app. any building that uses this is making a poor choice

How many of you understand they are collecting all your data from your mobile phone? I did a force stop and witnessed it suck up my data! The list is mind blowing. Scroll down to Data safety> see details> Data deletion> learn more> Data types.
just doesn't work well.
Loses and forgets admin permission constantly. Keeps you locked out or in and you get the automatic ' We are sorry please try the stuff you already tried but didn't work ' or ' Contact us even though we failed to respond to 12 e-mails of yours already ' messages.
Works about 30% of the time. They want you to turn on all your battery-draining features all the time, it's terrible. Just use key fobs instead. They left me locked outside in the 20s with my infant.
Terrible privacy, terrible waste on battery life, often fails, and no wear os watch support.

Flaky, and has trouble switching between multiple access areas even though it is supposed to be seemless. But I have to use it for work. Lame.
Got a new phone. Tried to reactivate the app. Doesn't let me do it, but instead sends me around in circles to sign in over and over again with e-mail and password. This so ridiculous, .....and annoying because I cannot get into my office over the weekend. We are choking on our self-imposed security obsession with all this double and triple verification. By contrast, my on-line banking log-on has not changed for 20 years, and it's perfectly safe with a simple password.

keeps on closing itself on Android. Also keeps on asking to fix battery optimisation, clearly designed for iPhone users only.

never works. I have walked through all settings and options multiple times. and I've had my partner do same to verify. it NEVER works for me. I show up at Gym at 5 am and can't get in. other members approach and it works for them so I really don't understand. Ive sent multiple emails to developer and no response. I am beyond irritated. I like the gym but fear I'll have to change gyms because I can't access when my schedule permits.
Garbage app. Never works.

The level of privacy invasion required for this app to function is absurd. My favorite feature is that it continues running in the background until you force close it. I know for a fact that it's still running/tracking my location, because the swipe unlock still works if it's not force closed.
Hate it. I can't forget to bring an elevator button. Also badly misaligned, can't read access points and most of the readers don't work. Also, bloated. Why is it 175 Mb?

absolute garbage. getting all sorts of battery consumption warnings from the phone about the app. for the love of God give us our clicker remotes back, with the acception of changing the battery once a year, they just worked. when the app doesn't work just ram the gate with your car.
Why doesn't this app support dark mode? It blinds me every time I use it at night
It is a dreadful door access app that causes more grief than using a regular door access card. It's slow to operate and causes many delays in accessing property.

The support on Android really suck. it cannot run in the background, and it often cannot connect to the device even when I'm right in front of it.
requires Bluetooth to stay on and the app to run in the background. still fails regularly and requires opening the app and pressing the unlock button. worse than key fobs and my phone is less secure for it
recent updates have made this app even worse to use. takes several minutes to scan for nearby readers, I've had to sneak into my apartment complex since the update. zero stars, can't wait to uninstall.
Most likely the worst app of all times. Worka when and how it wants to. Very poor interface, almost zero ways to customize even the basic layout and options. Looks feels and acts like kids designed it as a school project. Please get professional help with it and get it to work.
Insecure and a complete waste of money. My condo management company spent a fortune on this product. if the power goes out the doors do not work - you can't get in. As a result residents prop open the doors leaving the building completely insecure. The company lied to us about this. if your condo association is thinking about this product they will regret it.
Dont know how to operate. Can't find an icon.
