I had high hopes for this app, I was really hoping that I would be able to find some good deals along with a legitimate and active market... Instead I came across within 5 minutes, my first scam sighting. I saw listed a Lenovo Legion 5 with 16gb of ram, an RTX 4060 gpu and an AMD Ryzen 7 cpu for $1,675. to put that into perspective, in 2025 I bought a Lenovo Legion laptop with 32gb of ram, an RTX 5060 gpu and an upgraded AMD Ryzen 7 cpu for just under $1,500. STOP SCAMMING, DELETED APP.

I have emailed Back Market to delete the account, also tried to delete it in the app saying it cannot delete so it sent an email and I have got only an automated reply. It has been 10+ days and I would like to know the progress. I have an urgent safety request for this deletion and would like to know if they are even working on it.
bought a galaxy tab s9+ for an emergancy replacement for work. came with horrible verizon kiosk burn in and extreeme preformance issues. dont purchase if you need something gurenteed to work and in a hurry. processed an exchange and will not recive a replacement for at least 14 days.
this site is a joke, they canceled my order and didn't try to change it to another option. be careful I think it's a scam site!

Said that the refund will still have to go through inspection and may not get the money for a while after. so cannot buy a laptop until that money is returned. doubtful I'll receive the refund. Feels like I've been scammed.

GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK , I'm back since my other review and they still haven't sent my money back. I sent my iphone 14 pro THAT WASNT WORKING FROM THE BEGINNING BACK I sent it back Monday and btw no information back. WHERES MY 500€ AT, give me my money back, you have my phone so I want my money. and don't send me your stupid link cause it doesn't do anything I already tried 🙄
As Back Market are based in France, nothing is checked and they aren't worried about British courts. Sellers only check phones. DO NOT BUY OFF BACK MARKET!

prior to my most recent experience I have used backmarket with no problems. most recently I paid £400 for a phone which didn't work for mobile data or recognise my sim. after several backwards and forwards (one due to returning it to the wrong seller as I had several logs on the messaging system and had the wrong return label I was told the phone can't be fixed as it has a cracked on the back. this didn't happen when it was with me.
this is the worst app i have ever used, the products are not good and there is no value for time and money,I bought a controller for ps5 which shown as a excellet piece, but when it arrived it was cover in dust and it was very dirty, i wanted to return and they even send me the return label, i used the lable and send it back, and now they are saying that i have created my own return label and send the product back, they dont know anything, they even dont know where it is, where is my money.
So I am rewriting cuz I reached out as asked and now after returning the phone and buying a new phone from back market, I am now being told I was outside the 30 days so I have to take back the phone instead of a my refund. Diego and Juan gave horrible customer service telling me even though I have extended warranty and new phone I have to take the other phone back if the seller can fix it. I have to eat almost a $400 bill? Contacting BBB and done with this company.
The seller sent an Oxford Grey tablet with no stylus. I was offered by Isabella to keep the tablet with at $55 dollar refund and a $25 credit that i could withdraw to purchase a stylus separately (stylus' are priced around $75). the combined amout is adequate to purchase another stylus. started off good First couple years were great. got a few phones from the pixel 3 to the 7 but when I got a Sony phone it came with A periodically unresponsive touch screen so I sent it back and they just sent me the same phone back in the post afterwards with no repairs done. after that I bought a Google pixel 7A for my mother and after only 3 months the battery swelled up. customer support has been very very slow and has ignored me on several points. Very disappointed

Went to buy a refurbished iPhone 14 just for them to refund it 4 hours later and, hold my money hostage for 5 days, no Stockholm syndrome yet! DO NOT buy from back market no matter how many paid actors tell you to do so.
i was trying order sell phone 5 times and nothing happened. i was try contact support and just spend 2 hours. the stupidest app ever made
really poor. very little support in getting refunds or items returned due to dodgy sellers.
This was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. Bought my husband a phone which did not hold its charge and did a trade in that's another issue. But returns omg this became stressful, sent the phone back 2 weeks later told them I was going to take legal action I had no choice. Then, a week later, they decided to refund me. Asked for the return of my trade-in, still awaiting the phone. They said they sent it back, but to date, I still don't have the phone. So small claims court.

Trade in values are dramatically over quoted. Count on actually receiving half the amount. I processed a trade for around $60 for a 10 year old, Android 10 Samsung flagship model. I got $30.
