When signing up for an account it asks for credit card info to 'validate you are an actual person' but claims no charge will be made. Immediately I was getting suspicious charge attempts reported by my bank. Two days later, I had a charge for $39.99 on my account. I searched for the name of the site that charged me, it came up as a scam site. I went to the bank and they saw it was set up as a recurring charge. The bank determined this and the other suspicious charges traced back to the Band app.

The first few years of the app were great but recently the app started to get ads between posts and it has gotten so anyoning.

posting comments don't always work and screen jumps around. very annoying experience

it doesn't work. pixel 7. it sends notifications, but you can't open them or join groups, it just says "check connection" when I have full bars.

Read recent reviews. Was directed to use this app by my employer. I spent my weekend attempting to navigate how it is that anyone would find this app helpful. Then I read the recent reviews and discovered that there once was a time when this app was deemed useful, intuitive, and even somewhat helpful. Those times are clearly behind us, and I cannot imagine how it is that no one with authority has recognized the doom-slide that some committee, demanding features, has pushed the app down. Punt.

none of my messages ever load just a squiggly line appears

I have used this app for a long time with my dance team. A few days ago it suddenly stopped working and says it cant connect or that there was an error. It wont let me open the app or even go to the help center. I have restarted my phone, Uninstalled the app, cleared the cache, cleared the data, checked my phone storage, switched between mobile data and wifi, and done all of these multiple times over the last few days. it wont even let me go to the help website to try to figure it out.
