the app not working not loading up
Rating update 5->1: GrapheneOS on a Pixel phone. The app works only when Secure App Spawning is disabled. Happy to bring back the 5 stars once that is fixed.
I'm absolutely annoyed and frustrated that only after having a new tablet for a few months the app is no longer compatible to work on it. The tablet has the latest Android 16 and Barclays app is the only one that no longer works! I have uninstalled the app as you advised and now I can't install it again. It says - this app in only available for your other devices! Thanks for a very un-helpful advice!

I got the older up of this. It was not as complicated as the new one. The old one was much easier to use. I do not trust this new app. Why doesn't need to know your relationship status. why does it need to know whether your property is unfurnished our furnished. And whether you rent or as your own home. This is a banking up to deal with money. it does not need to know anything to do with your private life. The only thing it needs to know whether you are male or female. Not your entire background
waste of my time, booked online to switch to barclays and they advised me to install the app. ended up opening new account. why your stuff is so unhelpfull? closing account down for a matyer of principle now your ethic is poor
I still can not freeze or manage my cards in the app. when selecting 'my cards', I am thrown out of the app. have made Barclays aware, but its been over a year now and still no fix No update is available for my samsung a71 phone. Last heard from Barclays on 25 feb 2026 saying they have no timeframe but are working on the issue. Was fixed in 2024 but failed again in 2025. Not going to risk buying a new phone if app is failing on android.
Very easy to use, saves time; new format, still great - this was my old review. I had 5 stars, but my mobile pin sentry does no longer match / work when logging in through a browser, despite many calls for help; really gone down since beginning of 2026.
For 3 months now Barclays have been trying to fix my app. When "Your Cards" is sellected the app crashes out to the log in screen. They've just sent me a new card, but l can't use it 'til they fix this problem. Please get your finger out Barclays, it's gone on too long. Thanks in advance ☹️ September 20th now & l still can't access "Your Cards" in the app. Have you given up?. More than a year now, still no "Cards"??? 😟
