this June 2026 update has made the app unbearably slow on my flagship Android phone (Pixel 10 pro XL). I hate to think how it performs on flower phones. This is dreadful when you're in a dispute with someone and try to show transactions, incredibly embarrassing. Even on my own I'm really put off using this app. Come on Barclays I'm not alone based on most recent feedback, don't you text your apps before you release them? Revert to the previous build, or fix this mess!

Completely useless after the last update. Very difficult to open. A lot of bugs. Do not recommend.

Constantly asks me to rate it. Even when I click don't ask me again. They replied to this review saying they were eager to gather customer feedback. Well you're still asking me after I clicked don't ask again? Have y'all not heard of GDPR?
Cannot use on my device (Tablet)
For mobile devices with OLED screens I rate this app as POOR. Dark mode just isnt! Instead I see just bleached out text over a white background. Barclays App Techs: Dark mode has been available on many devices for over 10 yrs. You really do need to drag this app kicking and screaming into this decade! Device used Xiaomi Mi9SE Android 11 MIUI 12.5.1
camera to scan qr code has the wrong aspect ratio and doesn't auto scan qr code to transfer app to new phone.

Terrible, absolute garbage app. Crashes more than any other app, it's clunky and not intuitive. Yesterday I started a live chat and went to check something on another app. Now, every time I go back and try to open the live chat, the app puts me back on the log in screen, if I do it enough times, it crashes...

have been a barclays customer for almost 20 years and used this app for about 10. basics work fine. however, cannot redeem my blue rewards apple tv subscription. app crashes every time it tries to redirect and this seems deliberate. have tried all troubleshooting possible and there is no workaround as it cannot be done through the Web. Stop locking things behind an app that doesn't work. Not the first time additional services like this haven't worked.
june2026,update on login number page is MUCH slower than before. I have to type slower now, I feel less secure as it gives anyone watching a chance to memorise your number***** I've removed 1st review, it left me with a worse credit rating, THANKS🤨 Now letting you know I tried paying a cheque in with the app. I had a VERY CLEAR PICTURE on the front & back, both, dark background as it instructed. 10 to 15 minutes & 3-4 tries later still giving "oops something went wrong." No kidding Barclays 🙄
No problems with this app until the recent updates. Hanging when logging in, failure to verify payments and transfers out of the account
