This app is horrible about changing your location and super slow. I can't change it at all and is stuck on a location not even in the same state. It also signs me out everytime I go to a new category. The order tab just won't load or flashes on and off before going to a white screen. Absolutely terrible app

Terrible. The app didnt let me log in so I had to log in through the online store website. And even though my log in passwords matched I was locked out of my own account through the app. I'd give this app 0 stars if I could honestly.
easy to buy from there, but I have not get updates on my order and if I try to check on the status, it shows me I haven't purchase anything. I feel they need to make the app better.
just downloaded app and it's unusable. keeps telling me on login that i have to go to the website to update my settings, website does not tell me what needs updated. all my info is correct, and if I try to change anything it says "something went wrong. try again."

I downloaded the app yesterday and have had horrible issues in just two days (I plan to uninstall). For two days, I've entered my account information, and for two days, it redirects me to the actual B&BW website to update my account because "account requirements have changed" based on the app. I've logged into the website several times to no avail. I tried contacting customer service, but the TWO reps were not helpful and, apparently, the customer service email address is invalid. 😫 Sheesh!!!!

(6/2026): order history still doesn't work. tried chking it this am and it deleted everything in my cart (during SAS)

AFTER YOU ORDER ON LINE AND ALL THOSE DEALS COME UP THEY ARE SCAMS. THEY HAD ONE SAYING DOWNLOAD THIS GAME AND PLAY TILL YOU REACH GAME 9 AND WHEN $75 IN BATH AND BODY WORKS I WENT ALL THE WAY TO 10 TO MAKE SURE. LIE LIE LIE LIE!
Stealing your money. Bath and Body Works app is trash. It does not show you a true total without shipping so you assume you've got enough product for free shipping. You have to scroll all the way to the bottom of the cart page to see your actual product total. Order on the web!
couldn't reset password after update
The app is worthless. It won't allow you to add an address to make an order. It says invalid format - phone. Trouble is the phone number format is set by the app upon me entering my 10 digits in the field. Bad programming. Did you even test it? I bet their online orders have gone way down. I dont have time to call support I will just move on to another place.
The app literally won't even work. Every page and tab of the app says "Something went wrong" and there's no work around either. Definitely the worst app I've ever used and for such a large and wealthy company to not figure this out is crazy.
I tried to place an order tonight. I received an error msg telling me an item was not available. However, when I looked at the items in my cart, they all said available. I kept trying to place the order & then it said 2 items weren't available. I contacted an agent via chat in the app & they said they removed the items & to refresh the cart. I kept trying for 15 min and it never updated. I tried again to reach an agent and gave up after 40 min. On the plus side, I saved $ since I couldn't order

The fact there isn't a feature where you can catalogue all the scents you like most into a library of sorts and refer back to that list for when your favorite ones are back in season and available in-store really disappointed me most of all. I guess I'll just have to keep squirreling away the tags off my wallflower bottles and writing junk down on my phone. /: Would've been more fun to keep track of it in the app, and more reason to keep checking back and be lured into the latest sales.
I can't even get this open to work. Everytime I open it #oops, something went wrong" I have to go to the website just to see if there are any sales. Before this started happening, ordering online through the app was a pain. This app is worthless

I love B&BW. The app is good, but it never lets you pick a store on the app. It just keeps spinning. I've had the app for about 5 years or more and its always done it. Also shipping is high. If you do get a discount after shipping its like you never got one. Update The app never works. Always says no order history after clicking on your recent order for order status. Has so many error messages that pop up for basic use. I'm so irritated. Update: App is worse. Always says retry. Go to website.
This app rarely works, glitches out/uninstall/reinstall and if you're lucky it may work for a week... i hate this app and I hate that the company doesn't care to fix the problems. these reviews go back year's with no support insight. do better

the app hasn't been working for the last week. I just get an error message that says "oops, retry"
Try to login in but everytime it says session expired or not found. Tried uninstall and reinstall still nothing. when try to reset password it says it can't send the email. call customer service twice now and customer service says give it time to reset the password but here I am still without this issue resolved. The update made it to where I no longer have access on the app. Now I have to take longer going through the browser instead. Need to fix something badly

Can't check out because of an HTTP error when trying to add my card. Customer service, while friendly and professional, says I have to jump through hoops of troubleshooting or give them my card info via the chat. I don't think so. What's the point of having an app if it doesn't work properly? I'll take my money somewhere else.
Order history won't load or says there is no order history. Keeps signing me out while navigating the app. Did this before where all my orders for 2025 (as recent as Christmas) have been deleted.
App has always sucked despite updates. it took i think a year for it to finally locate my store (I would type in my zip and it wouldnt load anything). Last "update" I couldnt add anything to my cart just kept saying error. Better off ordering on direct website.

During sales I find myself happily adding stuff to the cart and then "OOPS SOMETHING WENT WRONG" and I have to visit the website instead because the app refuses to function consistently.
what happened?! I keep having to login over & over again, and i can't check on any of my orders. it just sits thinking forever, or will say I have no orders (I'm actively waiting for a delivery)

It works...and then it doesn't. The app won't even tell you it needs to update - if that'sthe issue. It just stops working because the B&BW system is faulty. Why does the app crash when their system doesn't update my rewards in live time? Your guess is as good as mine. With how all the products smell the same at increasing prices, I'd think the app should have no issues. DO BETTER.
this app is always crashing I'm not sure how it has such great reviews. also it logs me out without me doing so while I'm actively using it
