Entered all my info and was waiting for my video and image to be approved. Got the confirmation email saying I was approved and could just open the app to start using it. Opened the app and it gave a vague error and kicked me out. Now I have to start all over again. I'm not even sure what went wrong? Having to use this app is horrible, jumping through hoops every time hoping that maybe this time it will work. Digital identity verification is such a joke
I have downloaded this app and redownloaded it, but it still will not load for me to actually use it and check what I need to.

It doesnt let you upload photo and video for verification at all. Tried a couple months ago didn't work. Tried again today, no luck. Internet working just fine. Seems like other people are having the same problem as well.
won't load. Everytime I need it to work it lets me down. wish it wasn't the only way to get service from a government who takes my taxes and provides nothing.
had to get this app to get a criminal record check for a job i was pucking up. after entering my login app would never load. it literally does not open. now im missing out on a job.

This was a total waste if time; the app is not user friendly. I tried during CoVid to get this card with the same stupid app. I was hoping something had been done about it in the last 5 years. Typical government laziness and waste to taxpayers time and money.
straight up a loading wheel viewing app and that's it - useless
cannot get past the page that says its ensuring who i am after putting in my phone code!!! multiple times - all i get is the swirling wheel!!!!
does not work with Android 17 beta 3. it worked fine with beta 2. @dev I modified the app and spoofed my android version. all good.

I absolutely hate this new signup/in app for BC Service. It is definitely not senior or user friendly. I use my laptop for most of my online work. I don't use my cell as it is too complicated. All I want to do is register my business and I'm having to run through hoops to do it. Way too complicated. I had signed up, did the whole phone thing, but when I went to sign in, it wouldn't accept my password which I had written down. Now I have to start all over again. Grrrr
Won't even open! Why do all the sites redirect here and it doesn't even work!?
this service seems to be made to waste my time. I have talked to the people and proven who I am and given all my info and had my picture taken they know who I am and they still want me to prove who I am to request freedom of information its a complete waste of time. no surprise since the government probaly paid billions to somebody's son to do it when my grandson could do it for 5000 dollars disgraceful waste of time and money

Difficult to navigate - have to login several times b4 able to access account!
App keeps stopping so can't log into health gateway since the service card app won't work.
Who doesn't love being forced to use an app just to update basic information?
why do I need this and if you're going to make me get it at least have it work when I need it ??????
buggy garbage
Far too complicated. Zero human interface. Why is security the user's responsibility? The amount of time, energy and expense that goes into the software could be used to train real human staff. Totally frustrating.
really important app, if you can log into it. I updated mine I cleared the cache, I did everything and it's not letting me load in.
can't sign in and it makes everything confusing also it won't let you make an appointment online with out an account digitalizing I'd great idea ...........

too difficult
freaking useless when it won't even let you reset your pin or use any kind of 2fa. forget your pain and your only option is to uninstall the app, reinstall it and re-verify your identity which takes a lot longer than it should. like we're talking at least a day
This app is so unintuitive for something that is so important. I just spent 1 hour and 56 minutes trying to transfer my account to my new phone. The QR code doesn't work! I have refreshed it multiple times but the QR code continues to be invalid. Now, I have a message saying that I've logged in too many times and to return in a few days. I DON'T have a few days! The government should just not use the app if they refuse to fix these very SIMPLE problems. This is absolutely absurd.
App doesn't work, won't sign me in. Once I click my name it just goes to an infinite loading screen with a yellow circle. Doesn't matter if I'm on a VPN, or not. Deleting and reinstalling (which also forces you to re-verify your identity by sending in a video of yourself again) didn't help. Brutal.

Won't let me verify at all!! Keeps telling me connection issue. No issues at my end with connection. :) And I've turned on all permissions. Nothing. Won't connect to verify at all!

when linking with a laptop it tells me my account was removed from the app
you can't sign in with legit govt cards. It says that the card is not found, followed by a request to double check if your info is correctly entered. After this, you get the same error even though your card is in your hand, and nothing on it is wrong. You try again. It says you've tried to many times and will not let you attempt any more for some time. Waste of time and energy. useless. does not work, yet it tells you that it is you who does not "work" - it's awful
Shouldn't show an option to upload video for verification if it doesn't work for everyone. I uploaded the video and got an email saying verification is completed, I just need to open the app. When I opened the app it told me to transfer my account from another device! No idea where that came from. I called the customer service and their solution was to reinstall the app and choose the live video call option for verification instead of uploading the video.
