The application is active in the background reducing the duration of the battery. As part of the stats that provides gives fuel efficiency without any information of fuel, basically is a false statistics based on data from gps and a lot of assumptions.

The app doesn't work well
The auto merit section of the app is absolutely terrible and needs a complete redesign. If you go in many trips where you're a passenger, you have to manually say you were a passenger for each one, and it takes several minutes for each to load after clicking it. Also the speed limit is not always accurate since it syncs with Google maps which has tons of incorrect limits set in certain areas.
this app says my device isnt compatible but it is and its updated. still wont work
it only gives me French language. plus I couldn't talk to anyone at 7:30 am.

Automerit does not work as it should, it is very inconsistent with allowing me to mark when a passenger uses my phone. I never use my phone while driving so being unable to fix this has impacted my score negatively! Please update the app to properly refresh these changes.
Doesn't support older devices. Update: I've just been informed that the app no longer supports my device and refuses to update. Why would you remove support for older devices for such a simple app?
not accurate. its rating me below average when there are clearly no issues on my end. It looks like it counts acceleration in a merge lane goes against the apps idea of safe driving. and breaking from highway speeds to exit a highway is also a no no. there is no way to control traffic around you that is doing the same thing.
Obligated to get the app for a slight discount, but then half of my trips don't even register. Waste of data. Update: lowered stars because you can't complete anything online in one sitting.
Mostly the application is in sleep mode, not reliable, hard to use and not perfect. Not trustworthy either. Sorry dev team it's an actual experience. :(
all my application setting are on and the app won't record my driving. I have missed out on a few hundred kilometers of perfect driving just to learn nothing was recorded. the areas in question are southwestern ontario London to mount brydges and all places in between...would love to save money but the app I think feels my driving is too perfect....I can't tell.
what the heck! this app says im using my phone, and speeding, I swear on my life I wasn't using the phone when it says I did, if the phone moves a bit due to bumps or pot holes and imperfections on the road it assumes you're using your phone, I literally go 60km in 60 zone and accelerate so gently that drivers behind me is getting pi$$ed off, the app is incredibly inaccurate.. its trash compared to Aviva journey app, yall NEED to fix this

App is not reliable. I had to redownload the app as I factory restored my phone and can't even get past the login screen. I was happy with them, I've been with them for years, but now it seems they can't even make a decently functioning application for up-to-date phones and increase your rates for being a loyal customer with no tickets or accidents.
You keep telling me that my trips aren't recorded but the app never runs in the background. I have changed all the settings and permissions based on your guidance but it still doesn't work.
even though when you won't use phone it will deduct points.. it won't calculate your driving capability accurately..
how does same phone become unable to support app
I have been using this app for about a week. I have my car driving itself at the speed limit and it keeps giving me 0/3 badges on automerit. I'm not sure if it is saying no focus because of android auto or wireless calling but my phone is not coming out of my pocket.
The app is not accurate. Period. I live in an area where there is poor cell service and many changes in speed limit. I constantly lose my "speeding badge" even when I very carefully follow the speed limit. I know my navigation system, based on Google Maps, has the following issues: 1. It changes speed limit at the "60 ahead" sign and not where it actually changes. 2. When the sign says "60 ends", my sign reader and navigation system both think the speed limit is 60km/h when it's 80km/h.

The app is constantly missing many driving trips, so how is it getting an accurate oictureim of my driving? About 40 to 50%!
Terrible! This app went through a lot of updates, and each update is getting worse. Joining seems like a great idea from its offer. But I start to think it is a scam. Imagine: It says distracted driving. I did not touch the device for the entire trip. A pothole (big or small) triggers to report sudden braking. When someone tries to cut in front of you, it becomes your fault for following the speed limit.
any changes I try to make are ultimately unavailable. "something went wrong message"
Couldn't log in and it kept saying it emailed me a code to change my password, but never did get it, even after several lengthy attempts. Kept wanting to repeatedly update. Final gave up and just phoned them, way faster!
unable to download any documents in PDF format
basic ,auto merit tracker out of wack , not accurate .The auto merit not even close representing good driving habits in real life situations.The apps. speed zones are not accurate , up to date .When was the last time this updated and who is the data provider? Time for change , app starting to. suck.it day I require an update , the app store says my phone is not suitable for update .Teck center says they will automatically suspend automerit in a matter of time. I did not sign up for phone upgrade
The recent update messed up the whole app. It signs out saying the session has expired which never happened before and I can't seem to sign in. Furthermore, I'm unable to update the phone usage for my trip anymore.

I login and it automatically signs out and asks for me to login again. Half the time I cant even login just says error. Just started happening today
for the automerit portion they need to implement a schedule feature for when it records trips, I drive a work vehicle and it records every trip I take in that which isn't under their insurance
20% premium increase after first year spotless record. just another insurance company greedily doing bait and switch.
this app is horrible, it takes forever to load anything when it even loads which is less than 10% of the time. every time they update the app it gets slower and worse. the auromerit is useless, recording speeding when I'm not speeding, rough stops when I'm smooth. it'll read a 100M walk as a drive but not record a 100Km drive at all. if Belair is seriously using auromerit to help determine insurance rates then they're scamming themselves. this app has zero reliability, zero stability.

automerit pretty useless. I always drive in my best condition and smoothness badge alway glitches and deducts each time I drive.
hadn't checked the app in a while. noticed that recently it's been marking me as using my phone on every trip. started paying attention and it has now marked that twice when I explicitly did not touch my phone at all while driving. just set up music and Google maps before starting my drive

Stop with the pop-up requests for services I'm not interested in adding on! If the answer 'maybe later' comes up instead of 'no' one more time I'll be switching my car and home insurance somewhere else.
started using app June 6 found it to be very inconsistent some trips rates me traveling on public transit, other trips it doesn't even register, so what use is it? if it doesn't record travel data i did 5 trips today none were recorded WHY?this is becoming a waste of time maybe uninstall it, how can this reduce your premium
if you're a business client with a corporate vehicle, it's difficult to do anything because you cannot use the app. It works well for personal but not for a business client. the phone menus are also built for personal clients so you get stuck in loops with information that is not helpful
