this app is really bad. the idea is good in theory, but for some reason the prompt comes up at 5pm every day. great so my friends can see me eating dinner for the 6th time in a row. dumb.

Constantly receiving ads for gambling apps. Yall are such sellouts! Preying on others' addictions is horrific behavior.
Just like Truth Social, this app is also unavailable in Bangladesh. It’s frustrating to see such hyped apps completely ignore users from this region. I can't even download it from the store, and the sign-up process is a nightmare. If you don't want global users, don't claim to be a social media platform for everyone. 1 star for the lack of accessibility.
This app is a Racist app. I cant use this app in my country. Amazing app… if only it actually worked in my country. What’s the point of releasing something globally when half the world can’t even use it? Developers should be ashamed releasing an app that excludes so many countries users without any clear warning.

I don't understand this app... I tried it, and what, you're just supposed to take a picture and post it.....i didn't see how it differs from other more famous apps? It feels useless.

I had a five star review but after a recent series of events I'm changing it to a one star, I have had BeReal for two years with no issues, however about a week ago I opened my bereal and it showed I had to sign in via a number reignition but then it said there was a problem and when I contacted BeReal asking for help they said my account had been permanently suspended because of not upholding community standards, I have never behaved inappropriately on BeReal or had any problems,Im disappoint!
when you add the number it says the country is not supported, if it is not supported then why bother adding it in the region
App always so buggy, I've had to reinstall 3 times for it to work. I'm on my 4th try and if this upload issue still persists I'm abandoning it.
App randomly deletes posted photos. won't use the app until its fixed.

The app has been incredibly buggy recently, I can't even post a bereal because it immediately corrupts and fails to upload before disappearing or just doesn't capture unless i clear data. The app used to work perfectly fine but the constant updates are ruining it's functionality. Very dissapointed. Update: A year later, i still get bugs like not getting the notification half the time. It's very frustrating and i don't see a point of using this app when it can't even fulfill it's main purpose.

Honestly I do really like this idea, it's one of very few social apps that get a pass with me. But... The app is incredibly slow to load friends' posts, lately I've had issues getting my own posts to upload. And a few times even though my post did upload it just refused to recognise that I had posted and show me others'. I know this was faster at some point, and I don't understand how an app can be coded so inefficiently??

literally the most buggy app ever. couldn't get it to work on my old phone, bereal support just emailed me the faq page, so unhelpful, then on my new phone, video/bts just isn't available. I'm fully updated. are you just not allowing it on last year's phones? why is the email support giving me no information. Just fix it please! Edit: switched phones to get it to finally work, but loses half the features with android like video and BTS. also takes way to long to take both sides. mid.
The only thing that is always working is ads - annoying inapropriate ads. Camera has been better lately. Notifications got worse and worse.
