I like the features that are offered in the app and I love the store. However, using this app is always a poor experience compared to the website. I always use flagship phones and never get a seamless or smooth experience using this app. Pressing any button has a multi-second delay. I would say that maybe their backend services cannot process requests fast enough, but these issues are not present at all on the mobile or desktop website. Best Buy needs to improve their app experience.
it's so slow. doesn't work good.
From your saved list to your price alerts, everything is unavailable most of the time. if you have a Bestbuy credit card, also unavailable. No details will come up if you click on any of the links to see any details about the card. Certain links will try to direct you to the banks website where, you guessed it, it won't sign in. This is one of the worst apps I have ever seen for a company of this size.
Insanely laggy. my s26 ultra also literally becomes so hot to the touch every time I launch this pathetic app. y'all proudly and unironically developed this and published it? How does this thing have a 4.7 rating? I have never used a more unoptimized app before in my whole life. This is by far the worst app I have ever used in terms of optimization, hands down. I will just use the website if I need something, this thing is staying away from my phone.
This app used to work amazing, at least you could accomplish what you set out to accomplish. Now it's laggy and you can't click anything just once. I have to press the same thing about 30 times for it to process. Extremely slow to the point of being unusable. Please fix this ASAP so I can get back to dumping copious amounts of money into things I don't need. update 5-09-2026 The app is still terrible, and now it's drawing a significant amount of power killing my iPad quicker than any game.

This app is the biggest piece of trash in the world. It turns the user shopping experience into a total headache-both when paying and when navigating. That’s why I often go to the Walmart app to do my shopping instead.

It sucks! Best Buy automatic payment for Citibank charged me double my entered payment. Set me back over $200! It's such a scam how confusing you make it to set up. Now you're over $200 richer this month. And I doubt that you will reimburse me!

if you have a warranty issue they dont help and there chat is horrible. all your information will disappear so you can't see anything not even your purchase history.
I don't want to buy anything on an app that you have to Bluetooth.

Illegal "Comparable Value" Pricing. You the consumer no longer know the sale price of the product based on the previous price. THEY ARE COMPARING THE PRICE TO WHATEVER THEY WANT. In there own words "prices are based on the product, or a comparable item, that was offered for sale by Best Buy, marketplace sellers, manufacturers, suppliers, or other retailers, online or in-store." So the comparison price in now just whatever they want. I hope they get a fine. I will never shop them again.

worst app ever. For a company that sells tech, Best Buy’s app user experience is extremely disappointing. Every click takes 4-5 seconds to load or navigate, making even simple actions frustrating and slow. The app feels outdated, unresponsive, and poorly optimized. Best Buy really needs to improve the performance and overall usability.

forced notifications! I don't care how good you think your deals are I dont want 10 notifications of your trash fake deals on my phone a day just to be able to receive actual relevant notifications. ps. bs response from support. why would I reach out to support? are you going to reformulate your app?
God, what a terrible app. it's slow, unresponsive, crashes frequently, and forces you to sign-in EVERY TIME you open the app AND want to make a purchase? I understand security, I get it, but this is excessive. I can't load a script, refresh a page, or search up product without the app bugging out and slowing down to near unusable speeds, but when you order? especially for "high demand" products? Jesus, talk about slow and glitchy. their website doesn't even fair much better.

Genuinely awful to use and a great example of how misleading Google Play's ratings are calculated. If you sort by most recent, almost every review is 1-2 stars citing the awful, slow, and buggy UI, and it's true. The app is full of bloat, probably due to the addition of 3rd party sellers, and takes forever to search for anything. I used to be very active in this app when it was simple and fast but I dread using it now.

This is the worst app in regards to store apps in the entire app store! It's incredible that they haven't been able to fix the app crashes, the horrendous load times, and the broken lag and constant freezing of the app. They've actually made it worse in 2026. Each time it updates, I fall for it and think it'll finally be fixed and improved. Such a shame your app is UNUSABLE and I have to shop using the Walmart, Target, or even Amazon apps which are much much better and convenient to use!
Does not let you filter out marketplace sellers. I'm tired of looking at items priced 2-3 times msrp. I don't hate the marketplace idea but let me choose to shop retail otherwise I'll just use ebay.

For a company that sells tech in all varieties but has an app that lags, glitches and is quite terrible all around is beyond ironic. I'm rather shocked. But got the job done; more slowly and painful then I would have liked.
