I can understans that you want to earn more money and chance the concept from an easy 'get what you pay for' to a sneaky 'pay always and forget what for', but i strongly disagree with not transferring the current rights to the new app, or keeping up the old version. Now i have paid for something, asuming i can use the topo forever or at least say 2 years, but am left with nothing. Pure robery. instead of an `individual solution' i would suggest making sure all purchases in the old app still wor
I do understand the switch to a subscription model to fund continued development. However, the switch was handled terribly. Last year the old app was still working, now it's completely broken and the content we bought gone which is a slap to the face. The new app does offer minor improvements and new areas which is nice. None of the content i bought, neither the ticklist is transferred though. Why not at least offer old owners a discount or a few months of subscription? My goodwill is gone now.
used 60Gb of data after installing to download 3.5Gb of images I cannot even open, too expensive for what it is - I'd rather buy 2 guidebooks per year
This is ridiculous. Bought an area in the old app. Now I would have to pay a subscription for the new app, to still be able to view the same area. And using the old app doesn't work anymore, meaning my "purchase" was wasted. Would not trust this company.
looks ok but ran active for 2 mins then background for 5.5 hours and used 83% of battery from a pixel 8 pro. had to uninstall.
The UI is the same as for the old app, the only (apparent) thing, that changed is the monthly subscription plan. I m not a supporter of these.
