scammer app,absolute piece of junk made one set up and account which by the way sends you on a link and then once an account is then made send you on a vicious circle of then trying to sign in links to the internet and back again try to sign in then link to internet and so on...
Why do I have to sign into Google play to open up BitDefender VPN? Why when I sign into Google Play does it show a message if I want to access Bitdefender I need to download the app? The app was already downloaded. Recent issue with Bitdefender on my mobile, I did a reinstall now this sign in issue has occured. update 7 June 2026 - my experience of this app plummeting. The mobile app is constantly glitching and disconnecting. I dislike the feature of having to sign into Google Play.

I'm going to have to uninstall this. I can't access most sites unless I turn off Bitdefender VPN. I'd give this app negative 5 stars if I could. I wasted $ 34.99 on this terrible app.

Bitdefender is an excellent antivirus, but their VPN isn't ideal. Use Nord or Proton as your VPN, as Bitdefender doesn't run its own dedicated VPN network to remain stable, as certain websites will trigger a lockup of your phone's internet. You won't have that problem with Nord or Proton.
Wow, aren't you hilarious... 200MB of free daily vpn traffic... Might as well make this a paid app in general because that's an absolute joke... 200MB would be workable if this was 1980 on dial-up. but it's 2026 with data overload from hell... GTFO with your jokes. You might as well make this a 100% pay to access app, you're not doing much of ANYTHING for free on here...
this app just randomly stopped working after a year of using it, i try to sign in and it says "bitdefender vpn is not available for this account" "this is not included in your current bitdefender account subscription, learn more about this and how to fix it" also my bitdefender security (seperate app) stopped working as well and is asking me to sign up again with an even higher price. google play shows that both my subscriptions are active...
Avoid this App. Since installing this App, I've been inundated with viruses and unsolicited Apps that I am not interested

Connection constantly stops, requiring you to force stop the app on mobile to get any sort of connection. The VPN has started asking if you are using the vpn after an hour of use, which, why is this a thing? I use a VPN for constant SECURE connection. I have been a yearly subscription user, but if these issues continue, I'm going elsewhere. Edit: The service email they keep commenting on reviews doesn't work either, nobody answers
I have had the App for almost a year now and I dont know why I have kept it so long. It doesn't work all the time im always having to restart everything and now it's a daily thing to restart everything! It's really hard to contact them even though you pay top dollar! I payed for year membership..I won't be back to renew this app.
VPN lacks stability
Too many problems with this app and the Bitdefender support is unable to resolve the technical problems that I have reported.
It was good, but recently it caused a lot of problems with all Google services. Google blocked my YouTube page access, and Google Wallet was also affected, so I couldn't use it to pay. Also, the customer service response time was very bad. When I opened a ticket to troubleshoot those issues, they replied after seven days with repeated questions. Of course, I was completely dissatisfied and uninstalled this app, and I will never use it again. NOT RECOMMENDED!
Vpn doesn't work after app closes. Also it's really slow.

I called to have min canceled and had to literally argue with an Indian gentleman about canceling my subscription,that I did not appreciate at all. I've canceled my subscription yet someone continues to try to take money out of a closed account that will NEVER be reopened.
Been using this for about 7 months and thought it was fantastic at blocking ads and staying connected. The split tunneling is fantastic for apps. Recently though the VPN keeps turning off for no apparent reason. I only notice when it's off when I don't see the key at the top of my phone. It's very annoying as it's never done it before except these past few weeks. It used to so reliable. If it continues I won't purchase another year as there's no point if I'm not even using it.
Will consider renewing and changing my rating when the 1 hour disconnect nonsense is removed.

Used to be great, now Google won't allow it through. Imwas trying tomfigureout how to contact Bidefender but I don't see that option

bought VPN ultimate keeps disconnecting been on to customer service no help after its runs out will not be buying again pain in the bum when I have to go into my phone just to reconnect it
