This is a trash calorie tracking app. I've used this for about 7 months because I stupidly paid for the annual plan. It's horribly inaccurate and inconsistent. I often have to try to log things multiple times before it takes, and even when it gets calories or some of the macros right, some of the information is always wrong. Even for packaged foods where everything is on the label, and you can't always edit the macros yourself.

The calorie amounts are always wrong. I can give specific or vague input and it will still get it wrong. It tries to guess at amounts instead of using actual serving sizes. I regret I was suckered in by the hype and paid for this only to find out it was slower to use than just manually entering my calories.
charges nearly $70 qnd the app worked for two weeks before stating stuck on the grey load screen. havnt been able to get it to work. really disappointing 😞
I was excited and thought the concept was really great, signed up, the app worked for about 5 minutes and since then it's just a blank outline. I've restarted my phone, ensured all updates were applied, uninstalled and reinstalled - nothing has brought this app back to being functional. I'll be canceling and requesting a refund because this is ridiculous.
the app is broken, it won't let me access the app at all. its just completely white. I have paid a subscription and I'm not getting the benefits so I'm not impressed

This app is NOT TRUSTWORTHY!! Idownloaded the app and did not use it so I am trying to cancel my account but Bite Pal is asking for my invoice. Did you receive an invoice? I am not going to spend my time arguing with them. I'm just going to post this wherever I can.
I tried this app for 27 days and for the last week or so the app would stop responding and not open. When you are trying to log things on a lunch break, you can't. I finally gave up and deleted it. **** Original review I'm only on day 2 but I paid for a year subscription, everything I enter the calories and nutrition facts are off. I have used many nutrition trackers and never had this issue so frequently. If I hadn't already paid I would uninstall it.
Not very accurate. What can you expect from an AI calorie counting app
I kept seeing ads for this raccoon, looked good, as in it might help me lose weight. so signed up, charged close to 25$ today, then almost 72% every 3 months. if was flabbergasted but ok willing to go, turns out you have to pay for every aspect. by the time it's all done and said it will end up costing way more then I can afford, better off going alone. I'm going to ask for refund and will not recommend this very expensive app to anyone.
wildly inaccurate! I had a turkey breast sandwich on whole wheat and the app marked it at 3500 calories.

Very bad experience, I have not been able to use this app since I purchased it. I complained and nothing was done about it. it simply doesn't work. I want my money back.
I have paid and downloaded the app but it's too difficult to use. I want a refund but the transaction isn't on my account even though I purchased it yesterday. I wish I hadn't purchased, it's another thing to keep an eye on.

this app is terrible and the logging is inaccurate. it's also impossible to figure out how to get a refund.
I wanted to try the free calorie counter the the app interface seemed to suggest existed. However when it came time to select plans there was no way to choose that. I probably would have purchased thr annual plan, but wanted to check it out first.
Not accurate at all, and no refund even if you try to cancel the same day you bought the subscription. I'll keep trying because I can't get my money back now. Will update if I change my mind.
Have to pay to see things other apps show for free. Only installed because it looked cute. Uninstalling.
update 2. the email provided in the original reviews reply, gets no response, every day for the past week they have tried to take money for an account, tried reinstalling and looking for the hidden unsubscribe button again only to discover that the account doesn't exist any more. So riddle me this - how can you continue to demand payment for something that doesn't exist? I emailed to cancel back in February....its now May - Scam artists, steer clear. better more trustworthy apps exist.
Highly innacurate macro and calorie estimations, mostly from portion/weight/amount estimations. There's also no features to add your own recipes to get a more accurate count, even when you pay for the app. I regret buying a year's subscription cause I wont be using the app at all

had the app. for 3 days and it's already not opening so I'm having to uninstall and reopen the whole. app.
Application became unreliable (freezes on photo scan, sometimes loads without data in UI), which defies a purpose of low friction tracking. Very problematic taking into account annual subscription
it was lagging and it had lots of bugs
I found some of the " ai picture" calorie part inaccurate. also, decided I didnt want to continue after the trial but there is no where for me to cancel not even in my google play is there and active subscription but this app keeps trying to take money from me.
