terrible app for the fact that you can't cancel your membership on it and there is no info anywhere on it to bring you to that option online

Signed up, errored out many times before I could actually pay for a membership so I couldn't ride for a while, then I finally got it and when I decided to cancel that membership, it wouldn't let me do it on the app. I had to use the website. Maybe some people would see this as a small thing, but this is dark UX design. it was a clear choice on the side of the developers to keep retention up.

I love bixi. Unfortunately ever since my credit card expired at the end of july, I haven't been able to use bixi. I can't change or update my payment method in my profile, it always says "unknown error, try later". It's been saying this for weeks now. When I try to rent a bike at the station without the app, it says my account was suspended when I tap my credit card. I have no idea why, it doesn't say anywhere in the app that it's been suspended. Can't even use it during the STM strike.
There are so many hidden fees. The app claims $1.50 per ride. Even with a 13-minute ride, there was over useage fees. As a tourist, I really don't recommend it.

No email notifications for e-bike usage charges, which is unfair to users. I reported this issue, but my request to have it fixed was declined.
The dock at Gd. Boul. / Sherbrooke will not accept my bikes. Had to wait for somebody to take a bike before I could deposit. My partner had to deposit the other bike at a distant dock station that she got lost trying to find, and we spent an extra 15 minutes looking for each other in an effort to park the damn bike. At the end, we spent more money and time compared to just walking. Our day was a complete disaster!
i could not register at all. maybe because of foreign phone number (if not supposed then please openly say so). I tried multiple times and always get: Error message: "Signup failed - an error occurred while creating your account. Try again later."
I had to try 3 times until my bike rent worked. Moreover, after I returned docked the bike, I have received a green light signal (which indicates that I returned properly), but there is no activity receipt at all. I have no idea how much I rode and how much would I be charged. This app is inconsistent and laggy, which shouldn't happen especially when many people rely on it.
Impossible to use this app. My husband and I both tried to sign up. Once from the street and once from apt using wifi. Get all the way to the end there is a sign up error in creating the account. The error repeats even when we go back to the beginning and have confirmed multiple times that all information is correct. Android. See other Android users having issues.
Bikes are never available, app glitches out often, preventing you from grabbing the few leftover bikes.

Pretty frustrating that you're paying for a service that you can only use while on Wi-Fi. They fully know of the issue with 5G / data usage when on VPNs or international roaming connected to local Canadian networks nonetheless, but haven't come up with a fix and many weeks now. They're fully aware that VPN or roaming or not, one should be able to use the app while on fully working stable data, but it's a big they created themselves with one of the updates and seem unwilling to fix until now.

Just tried to subscribe through the whole and too lengty process, and it failed at the final step. They want us to use alternate and active transportation, so in the end, I had to walk. Big fail.

Claude 628 is a manager that does not listen to clients and speaks passive aggressively until he decides to hang up in the middle of a transaction diapute. Former review. I've been a member since it started in Montreal and every year ever since even when it was almost gonna go under. I Love it. To my surprise, I've clocked more than 25,000km over the years. That's halfway across the world!

Pos won't update because I have an older phone.. won't fix my issue terrible they should make it compatible with older phone. This is a big company.
Very annoying to have to share location to scan a QR code. Please change that. You don't need to know where i am Forcing to update when i want to rent a bike. I don't have to roaming data. This app is awful.

Sign up failed with multiple cards. Error is too vague. Went to a machine and it literally did not work at all for bike renting. So just no way to ride. I ended up driving and putting CO2 in the air. Good job BIXI 👍

I bought the Monthly membership, and all was fine until the third trip-a 16-minute ride with one guest for around 2 CAD. Later, I noticed three more BIXI charges totaling nearly 15 CAD, with no email receipt or app record. You can’t delete your card info from Bixi, and customer service won’t respond to emails 💆. Be extra careful when returning bikes at stations, as many don’t work properly.

Difficile de créer un compte car bogues, facile de déverrouiller un vélo, compliqué de revérrouiller un vélo à une autre station, les corrections pour le temps d'utilisation après un appel pour régler la situation ne s'affichent pas immédiatement dans l'application (le compteur a continué jusqu'à 57 minutes pour un trajet de 15 minutes avant que la station ne soit reconnectée). J'ai dû appeler une deuxième fois pour obtenir une explication. Très bon service au téléphone au moins.
map will not load. on a Samsung s24 / android platform and the map just spins and doesn't show. also our 2nd ride today for some reason the dock didn't end our ride. so now 6 hours later I just got notified the bike has been returned and we have a huge bill. I'm confident if this is a good company they'll see we returned the bike with our other bike and refund the money. if so then this would be 4 stars until they get the map fixed. then it'll be 5 stars! we really enjoy the service.
No available bikes can be found in my area after work.
can't log in. get a " contact customer support error message". There's no option in the app for contacting customer support.
I love Bixby as a service and use it many times per week. It seems like the app has gotten worse and worse though.... most of the times I try to rent a bike it doesn't work the first time, and it often spins, times out, and then if I try to rent another bike it tells me I have to wait because I've reached the maximum number of concurrent trips.... But I don't have any bike taken out!
Garbage app and service. I have used Bixi many years now. Every year it gets a little worse. This year is leaps ahead in bad service. -The app is not accurate about bikes and docks available. -So many bikes and docks are broken now. I use it daily, there is never a day without some problems. So many broken docks. Bikes broken. The app is reporting open docks /bikee and you arrive to find them broken. Still true 2024.
