Love BJ's but this app is no good, please fix it! Freezes all the time and always have to force stop it. When it does work it is slow. I would spend more of my hard earned money with BJ's if this app worked better. And no it is not my phone and I have tried everything...updates, deleting app and re-downloading, clearing cache, etc...
consistently freezes and or crashes. slow to load pages and make edits.
I only have the app for the digital coupons, which since the app update, it was moved from its own tab and doesn't load for me. I shouldn't have to scroll for this feature. it should have it's own button on the bottom. considering deleting the app since this is the only reason I have it.
This app needs a major overhaul. It glitches so much that it's not even worth the use.
deli was so slow I finally left it and had to get something else that was pre-packaged. and not a single person was even actually served the entire time I was waiting!!!!

slow, bugs with every app update
the forced 2 factor authentication made a bad android app even worse. in order to log in to pickup my grocery, I have to clear all data and login anew, or else I'll get trapped in a 2fa hell. the sms never gets sent, and if I put in my email 2fa I get told there's nothing to pick up. maybe the iPhone app is good, but the android one is really quite bad.
Wasted my time
This has to be the absolute worst app I've had the pleasure of experiencing. It doesn't have a straight forward search engine. You have to go through so many hoops to find an item that its just not worth it!

As noted by others, the app requires me to re-login, then fail the email verification every time. Makes it impossible to login.
very stupid place to shop I bought an apple gift card and the cashier never activate the card for me instead they told me to contact apple apple rejected the card and send me back to bjs i went to the manager he was telling me rubbish and stupid talk I'm very mad right now

slowest app ever UPDATE, the app is still slow even though I've reinstalled it several times. The app is terrible because you have to add coupons one at a time and you just can't clip all. UPDATE APR 2026: Every time I open this app, I'm reminded of how horrible it is and don't understand why BJ's allows it. If you search 14k, you get 10k, sterling silver, and everything else you can imagine. Not being able to clip all coupons is totally unacceptable.
won't save my membership won't save my info and can't cut cupons and its only a samsung thing my fiance can use the apple version with no issues
horribly slow, makes shopping or making a list almost impossible and unbearable. other apps aren't that way.
tried to clip coupons in the app from home, the store parking lot, AND in the store! then it dropped all my scanned groceries from scan and go and I lost money from all the coupons I couldn't use. 👎
This app is terrible!! Suddenly can't access it anymore, won't allow me to get into my account.

The stupid employees at Atlantic and Kernan made me run my items through the checkout even though I already used the app. I got charged twice. What a waste of my time. Those employees need training.
Just another wastful app......USELESS No app stability...constantly logged out and have to request a code. 5 tries to get a code for a coupon.
Forces you to download the app to pickup orders. can't use the browser version for pickups.
can't log in. undefined undefined undefined. My favorite part about this application is getting in the login two-step verification loop that won't actually let me log in. just another reason I can't wait to cancel my membership BJs.
The app is extremely slow, dial-up slow. It often times out and I have to restart the app. The coupons do not stay clipped so every time I order (even the same week) I have to go back through the slow process of re-clipping the coupons. They should just stay clipped! The search bar is slow to respond and the cart functions are slow to respond. Please, please fix your app.
App is one of the worst. Have had to delete and reload multiple times. multiple sign on errors. requires codes and then cycles back to login error. Won't show local gas prices, despite me saving the local store as "my club" but shows for a club 4 hours away (that I have never visited. Save yourself a headache and use the website (also not easy) but loads better than this APP.
app is so laggy. when scrolling, its like 3 frames per second. App is painfully slow. They should fire whoever is responsible for this mess

can somebody explain why the app always says they're out of stuff when they're not out of it at the Hyannis ma 02601 store? I've been trying to order bacon thick cut reg fully cooked or turkey bacon. and it keeps saying sold out!. well a friend went there last night and they have cases of it! same with hot dogs saying sold out when they.I can understand if you're stock is low and they don't want to sell it to the online people but this is not the case. AND this happens a lot with other products.
this app is so terrible and unhelpful, the search engine doesn't work, this is why you should join a better club, Sam's club app actually works LESS THAN 1 STAR
I can't clip the coupons or find out the price of Gas at my local BJ'S. Every time I try to clip a coupon it tells me to sign in. I do that. It then sends me a 6 digit code for the 2 factor authentication. I do that, I go to clip the coupons & it goes through the whole sign in process again! I set my local BJ'S as my gas station and it won't tell me the price. When I go to the map & tap my club it still doesn't give me prices!
The latest updates are awful. The app is crazy slow now, freezes up and now requires precise location at all times the app is open, not just for pickup. Why do you need to track this information?? I have uninstalled the app and reinstalled, which is all your tech team seems to offer as a solution. That does not fix the problems. I have given up many times and shopped elsewhere.

miserable! I'm mad as hell! This is the most user "unfriendly" app I have ever experienced. Not only is it unfriendly, it's like a living hell for imposing frequent updates and won't accept customer inputs. It literally rejects customers inputs and refuses to allow customer to use the app. In two words "it sucks"! This is the second ti.e I've experienced this issue. The last ti.e, I was unable to use the app for over 3 months.
This app has been broken for months. Sign in doesn't work. Unusable.

The website is super slow. They need to upgrade the servers that's unacceptable. Plus when they're out of something and they want to ship it to your house no fault of your own they want to charge you $9 for shipping. That's a bunch of bunk. If they keep this up I'll just go to one of the other big box stores, I don't need to go to BJ's.
