this was the most useless app installed in my phone. if you want a better alternative go with Family Link if you have 2 devices, it is a better alternative than this app which actually does nothing in ground.

I tried to subscribe to this app thru the free 3 day trial version on the 3rd day of the trial and it gave me the only choice of canceling the app. I should have listened to the app and not emailed blocksite two or three times and tell them their app wouldn't let me subscribe to their published 29.99 yearly plan. I get up yesterday morning and Blocksite had charged me thru my google account without my consent 47.99 for a annual subscription. I sent a deny the charge. Nothing received back from
The app used to automatically close the tab with the blocked site. After a recent version upgrade, it only closes Chrome, but doesn't close the tab. So now I try to get on Facebook (which is blocked) so Chrome is shut down, but when I open Chrome again, Facebook is still open and blocked again! And I'm stuck in a loop until I go into the app, unblock Facebook, go into Chrome, close the tab, then go back to the app to block Facebook. After years of usage, I uninstalled it immediately...

Please don't lock keywords behind a paywall. I need to block certain usernames for my mental health's sake. I can block keywords on the chrome extension but everything I block I can still visit... make it a one time purchase!

Doesn't work. Seemed to work well at first. Then not working. Cannot rely on this app to block. Have granted all the necessary permissions etc.
dosnt really do its job alot of ways around it, glitches alot. bulldogblocker is much better blocker. for computers use the hostfile and have cold turkey. blocksite is horrible on pc.
doesn't work on news installed payed for lifetime and blocked news and tried keyword. didn't work at all. please tell me how to get this working or provide a refund.
it functioned well on both on PC and android then it broke down for unknown reason. I wrote to support but it was like writing with an AI assistant writing the methods which I already tried several times. I paid it in December 2025 broke down around late February. On PC it indicates that is offline which is not the case. can't add screenshots as proof. ffs. on android it doesn't redirect me to blocksite page just lets me watch the keywords which I type in.
used the block site feature, tested it out and i get jumpscared by this image of an elderly lady staring at me. very creepy. was not necessary. thank you app now i can't sleep
trust me, it's a scam app
this app sells your browsing data to people even when you are browsing in private tabs and has no real data privacy. use an alternative if you search for anything that you don't want published to the entire internet

The newer version of BlockSite runs sluggish and doesn't block websites sub categories while older versions did, and still do. As such, I uninstalled the latest and installed an outdated version which works a lot better.
deleted almost immediately. it is ironic how much noise and distractions generates the tool that is supposed to help you with this

Horrible waste of money. It randomly stops blocking things. I turned on all the permissions it wanted, and even blocked the settings on the phone so my child wouldn't be able to undo them. I had to constantly check my kids phone and get it working again, only for it stop again a few hours later. Don't bother with this absolute scam.

BlocSite charged me $50. It took me a week to figure out what they were doing, and now I am spending hours every day trying to reset and restore one site that is permanently corrupted, deemed unsafe when I have been using it for 2 decades. What a racket! The introductory period was 3 days. You'd have to be tech a whiz to understand it. FRAUD- and I, a senior citizen military widow am baffled and can't afford waste. No phone number to call.
Parts of the app 'appear' outside the screen, making it impossible to set up the app. Absolutely worthless.

Only one app is allowed to block the usage limit in free tiar. It is ridiculous as we don't have enough data to decide whether to buy premium or not. As I have newly installed it I don't know if it is useful or not. So that I can decide in the future to get its premium. So kindly look into this and increase the number of apps from 1 to 3 or 4 at least for better user experience. Otherwise I am exploring this and the UI of this app is simply gorgeous and easy to use that is a plus point.
