I don't know what they did, but starting today it continuously crashes for absolutely no reason. The news and reporting is great, but the streaming feature is highly flawed and even before the current issues would always glitch out.

Doesn't load content since a week or so on brand new samsung s26 ultra. Just blank pulsating. ??? There was a network error. Please try again. Reconnect. As a subscriber I expect way more.

The new changes, i.e., free 30 mins watching of Bloomberg, have been reduced to 15 mins. it is really annoying. I can't afford to pay for a subscription, and before, I was able to listen to important updates for 30 mins and was working well. I would say please bring back 30 mins of free watching. Thanks.
Terrible app, even for subscribers. No longer loads the full article, just spins after the first screen.
This app just stopped supporting Chromecast... I think I will just cancel my subscription.

Essentially, useless. Lots of TRACKERS BUILT IN to the Bloomberg APP. Google, comScore, Iterable, Taboola, etc.. I have the Duck-Duck-Go app & VPN installed , and it shows me the THOUSANDS of tracking attempts hourly. With the DuckDuckGo app blocking app trackers, the Bloomberg app does not work. My phone is nearly new, and it has the latest updates. The information content is great, and I can access it on my computer and block third-party cookies and tracking scripts there more easily.
This app is terrible. I'm better off using the web on my phone. The screen is constantly blank and just pulsates or fades in and out like loading content that never comes. When something does show, more often than not I get a 'Reconnect' message that doesn't fix anything. As a paid subscriber, I expect more. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and clearing the cache and all that. No luck. I have a Samsung S22 with all the latest software updates too. It's not me; it's you.
The Android app is abysmal. Navigation is poor. There are no speed controls. How could Bloomberg release such a poor product?
notifications not working in android
Clicking a notification does not take me to the article anymore, it just opens the app and it stays where it were previously. That makes notifications useless. Without notifications, app doesn't have any benefit over using a website directly. Furthermore, do I need to mention Bloomberg's bias and Western propaganda? Uninstalling. When it does work, the app is just so slow. It takes forever for a news story to load. Why doesn't the text render faster??? The app works okay when online, but offline functionality isn't great and live news updates simply don't work on Android. They do work on the iOS version of the app though. There's also constantly this weird behavior where the screen goes blank briefly and then reappears. It's quite jarring and unpleasant.
I was gifted a subscription for xmas and my first impressions are not good. The app is very slow and unresponsive. It's good for high level financial news but for individual share news it seems to be poor, there are many other platforms I have tried which are better
unusable without a subscription. I've been using Bloomberg for 2 decades, listen to surveillance every morning. you used to get great content and quotes. now you need to pay 350 a year just to see delayed quotes so I uninstalled, there is no value at that price point

I have to juggle two apps and spend time searching for that video on YouTube which I sometime can't find. Paying for a service that is only half working. Bloomberg really needs to fix this.

Where it falls down, badly, is not, astonishingly, having a "back" button, so that, if you press on a link to another article by mistake, you cannot quickly return to the previous article you were reading. This is the first time I've come across this issue in a news app and it's very irritating.
Video often won't open on the app. Too many ads, the same one again and again.
Latest version keeps crashing in the background, thus breaking notifications. pls fix
