Bonaventure Cemetery Tour

This is a very lame app. Works intermittently. Don't waste your money. You're better off taking a tour with a guide.

This app really has a ton of potential, but there's a lot of focus on confederate generals and absolutely 0 on the entire jewish section of the cemetery. I also noticed that a narrator refers to the Civil War as the "war of northern aggression" at one point. I'm a born southerner, I enjoy history, but I found the lack of sensitivity appalling. Weed out the racism and revisionist history, please, and then I'll recommend this app.

Terrible app! Don't waste your money. This app was confusing to all 4 of us adults. When we did get to the right location it would tell us we were at a different location and start automatically playing that location we weren't even at. We spent more time messing with the app than we should have. Some are commentaries from other people, most of it non important facts. We were all disappointed. We finally quit the app about half way through. Don't waste your money

Disappointed. The places show on the map out if sync. Stories start and restart out of control and exact proximity to the Graves. Please refund.

We found the app almost completely useless. it was hard to know where anything actually is in the cemetery, because it doesn't have a live map with your GPS location displayed. It also seemed to load the wrong audio when selecting a given grave site.

Confusing and difficult to use

The idea for the app gets 2 stars but the app itself deserves 1 or 0. The locations of the dots on the map are misleading and confusing. The app didn't always start up as it should. The directions were given quickly, not repeated and weren't easy to understand in the first place. The recordings were low energy and low quality. After a short time I got fed up and gave up. I wish they offered a better paper map and asked for donations. This app isn't worth a penny.

Not intended for a driving tour. App was frustrating to use, didn't give directions on where to start driving. Has an in-app map, but it's not very useful when you have to switch back and forth between it and the audio. I wound up getting frustrated and leaving bc I couldn't follow along.
