Another update 6/18/26 - like an idiot I purchased newer speakers after being told by Bose they used the latest Bluetooth software which would solve the connectivity issues. THERE IS NO CHANGE, AND BOSE STILL HAS NOT UPDATED THIS APP. Can't reliably connect with a second speaker located 7 ft away. Continually drops the signal, and loses connection. I AM DONE WITH BOSE. This has been going on more than 5 years now.

Useless this, like most Tech companies in this age, they have become lazy, want users to spend valuable time on their useless apps troubleshooting on useless features. One has to spend time upon time connecting and reconnecting devices, which at times will not disconnect and become unusable. Just leave us alone to use the simple bluetooth interface.
The app has occasional problems connecting to the headphones I have to manually from BT menu connect the headphones first. I have Bose QC Ultra2 which is perfect but with some effective downsides: I miss a button to press and hear the battery level, and I miss a button to quickly switch between modes (not long press). Other than this the headphones is superb. I replaced Sony XM5 and used it. Very comfortable and ANC is nice.
I had a Bose micro SoundLink for years now. Worked perfectly. turn on Bluetooth, connect, play. somehow the speaker got updated to require this app to function. not only do I have to sign up to this app despite the speaker previously working without it, now the app doesn't connect to the speaker. it detects the speaker but cannot connect to it. this is pathetic, and just an opportunity to data farm.
Don't trust Bose! Zero support for premium products. Visited their authorized Andheri center in Mumbai for my SoundTouch 30 speaker, and they simply denied service because parts are unavailable. Carried it all the way from Delhi through Mumbai to Kerala for absolutely nothing. Once they sell you a speaker, you are on your own. Do not buy their expensive hardware!
Absolutely horrible if you want to connect it to your computer, no option to download it for your computer, what is the use I have it then? Should've gone with a brand that can actually connect to your computer. I do not recommend Bose products
Bose speakers are very expensive and their sound quality is decent, but this app is absolutely horrific. The app constantly disconnects for no apparent reason. Why does Bose sell us overpriced speakers that require a third rate app to connect to your device? I am so frustrated with this app, that I will probably never purchase another Bose speaker again.
it takes a lot of effort and patience after a lot of frustration to get 2 speakers connected for party mode and ultimately stereo mode. bout ready to chuck these expensive speakers in the trash and delete this app and never buy bose again
app is incredibly buggy, everytime I try to connect my headphones it just goes onto the loading screen over and over

un reliable frustrating and the most dumbest app I have ever used. four years and three different speakers and they are useless 3 s1 pro and new flex speaker. none of them connect no party or link that works. even if they are two feet a way. Don't waste your time and money on Bose they suck. you can not log in can't reset password, You would have better luck connecting them with a piece of string.
can not pair 2 speakers
This app is useless, when it's scanning for my headphone the screen just flickers across and I can't click anything else including settings, just keeps flickering. Headphones never connect. Action button - no longer works with Alexa assigned only reason I opened the terrible app. For such a basic function app makes absolutely no sense it's not actually functional you need to fire your app team.
Find feature only works if the headphones are on and out of their case, and they turn off automatically after a while anyway. Even when there on it sometimes just doesn't connect to them. One time the sound to find them didn't stop even when I pressed the button to turn it off.
It is stupid to download an app for a speaker. Whoever is responsible for this decision deserves to be fired from their job

Absolutely useless, this and the bose app, spent 30 mins trying to connect and it just fundamentally doesn't work, incredibly disappointing from an overpriced product brand

junk app Freezes and if it locks up you have to uninstall then reinstall just for it not to work again
this app sucks all the balls it can! every update wipes our ur products then when u try too reconnect the Bose app doesn't even acknowledge ur speaker, it connects to Bluetooth but in the app it give u the connection problem and no matter what u do the app won't connect even thou its connected, and if u connect, u have too rename ur device, for as much money u spend on Bose product u would think the app would work seamlessly but every update wipes everything and u have too start from the bottom
Terrible app for great earbuds. Cannot connect to earbuds and old app won't work so no way to go back and use something that was at least functional. App simply sits on the opening logo and does nothing. The new app reminds me of the Sonos disaster.
asks for location permissions then nothing. no functionality at all.
Almost unusable with a pair of SoundLink Flex. I spent a lot more time struggling with crashes than using my speakers. Same on Samsung S21 and Pixel 6. I used the speakers in stereo mose a very few times, and then when it's crashed it all gets confused without guidelines to fix. That ruins the experience with Bose speakers. It never improved after updates, and the app is struggling to connect to both speakers. Edit : 2 years later, same mess no progress

Still having the same issues nothing has been fixed!! App is a POS, What happened Bose , why did you force an app on the Bluetooth speaker, for it not to work . Make an update for this app to work or won't buy another Bose item, already bought a Soundcore speaker and its cheaper and better quality than yours. Take accountability and fix the issue you created.

I did the Soundbar 700 without the app, but this new Bose Soundbar Ultra has the newest audio tech. using HDMI(earc) and Dolby Atmos. the Soundbar has both those game changing tech but my 75"TV doesn't have Atmos so needed fire stick 4k max to run Atmos to TV. needed hours of settings changes to get unreal sound.

The device Bluetooth connection configuration screen should remember the disconnect setting per Bluetooth Device until explicitly toggled back on within the Bose Connect app. My Bose headphones often try to reconnect to other devices despite already being connected to my primary mobile phone. Really annoying when you share a tablet with someone in the household and it keeps trying to reconnect to it. Make that settings screen work as a global disable connection screen.
a really trap app, all the time can't connect to the device
After spending hundreds of dollars on two Bose SoundLink Revolve+ (Series II) Bluetooth Speakers and fighting with this app for over three months with the promise of using them for stereo reproduction I say, "try any other company!" Once they connect, it's great, but they are stealing time from me every day in setup time. Setup time is getting longer as time goes by. I hope there is a criminal case brought up due to how ineffective this app is. *update* still doesn't do the job, neat
can't get my A30 headphones to connect to my phone nor my tablet
I have a hard time getting my speakers to run together takes a good 10 to 15 minutes for this app to recognize to link the speakers it shouldn't be like that
