Def would give 0 stars if I could. $400 earbuds can't connect unless app works. App won't even open any more. done buying expensive things for more hassle. I bought $80 ear buds through Amazon. they are perfect. Comfortable, affordable, great quality, pair super easy, no extra apps to work (app available but not required). Simple! They are called Nothing X. So tired of big companies charging more money with less quality. Was going to buy a second pair of these. No. Never again.

Now I get a cryptic beep. Is it 90%? 9%? It’s a mystery for my $450! I love having to unlock my phone and dive into a laggy app just to see if they’ll die in ten minutes. Truly visionary "progress." What’s next, replacing the earcups with peanut butter cups? Bring back the battery levels,cowards.

Never Works Correctly
about twice a year the app forgets my earbuds and i have to go through the setup process again. now I'm trying to go through that and the app keeps locking up on me. when this set dies I'm changing brands all together. the sound is good but I'm unimpressed with the app.

I'll probably buy Sony next time they're doing a pretty great job, from what I hear, besides Helldivers 2 being total trash, which isn't their fault entirely.
Why is this app randomly opening webpages? That's a huge red flag. fix your app Bose
This used to work well, but in the past few months it's just fallen off a cliff. Never seems to recognise my QC45s
The app constantly forgets my headphones and prompts me to completely re-setup the headphones.
App is completely busted. won't let me log in. won't load my devices. won't let me add devices. just a white screen. also the latest update for headphones was awful.
App will not stay logged in for more than one second and has numerous errors. It allowed headphones to be connected and is otherwise useless and over complicating what amounts to a simple Bluetooth connection. My phone is a few years old which per another review may be Bose's issue.
The app and Bose's customer support is terrible. I can't register new products via the app or via a browser. A registered email address can't be changed (ever). If you want to change your email address you lose the order history and have to re-register all products from scratch on the new email address. If you are lucky enough to progress to the final step in the app ie online activation the process fails without remedy. No support online. I spoke to a Brit from support once & she couldn't help

Horrible experience, it does not detect the bose product half of the time, and the other half the app doesn't open. horrible developers
this app is meh in many ways and a turd in others. it logged out. and logging back in, still forgot devices. Other times, it can't find the device I'm listening to on at the time. not quite sure why every company in their mother borderline make an app obligatory, then make it subpar. I love Bose. Ive been using their devices for 10+ years. but the app is dogshit upon further consideration I'd like to give 0 stars
Does not recognize my Bose Quitecomfort Ultra. It does in the connect app but not this one. The connect app keeps transferring me to this one that as I mentioned is useless.
I can't connect my Sound Flex 2 after the app update... Please fix this issue.
Why do I need an internet connection to connect to my headphones? Thanks Bose for making me take a whole flight without connecting to my headphones (that have been paired hundreds of times but decided to not work)

Cant connect bose qc ultra gen 2 with app trying to control equalizer. Had the same issue with your older model funny enough both models would find connection in your other app but forces me to connect through this app which doesn't work please fix. Phone s25 ultra
Now forced to create an account. To use a product I paid and that worked fine without an account. This should be illegal. What a horrible experience. This is gonna be my last Bose product.
Absolute trash. Constantly forgets my devices and asks me to create an account. May as well install it only if and when i need to configure my headphones again.
App deleted my headphones setup so I tried to add them back and when I clicked add it would take me to the add a product page before then prompting me to add my headphones again, and this repeated over and over. Had to reinstall the app to get it working
app wont even discover the open ear buds. I have tried factory reset 3 times and still wont detect them.

One of the worst apps I have to use. Randomly doesn't recognize headphones even when phone is paired. Exceedingly slow to load screens, if they load at all. Every time there is an update I hope that they are introducing bug fixes - but it actually gets worse.
when i click on audio all it does is spin spin and spin.
The app constantly removes my headphones removed from the paired list and also will log me out of the account. The fact the app says the headphones aren't paired while my phone is connected gets annoying... The headphones price tag deserves a better app.
Update: its been almost a couple years now and it still doesn't work. useless. Upgraded my phone to s24 ultra. Tried to open app. Doesn't seem compatible. Just sits at the main screen. No options to do anything.
For like a month, the App will either not open/load at all. If it finally does, all screens are empty. White screen in account settings, white screen in Devices. So absolutely unusable.
Scr**ed up app! Sometimes works & sometimes doesn't even open! Can't use many features through app because of this - IRRITATING! (Using QC Ultra 2 with ZFold7)

Does often hang and freeze in multiple ways. The app is a great reason not to buy Bose products.
App was never great, but now it flatly will not work.
My headphones consistently ignored the settings i put into this app (never turn off being one), just uninstalled it and now my headphones have also magically stopped randomly crackling.
This app sucks ducks. Every week I'm unpairing and repairing, clearing cache, restarting devices, or factory resetting to get my stuff to connect to this stupid app so I can use multiple point connection. With three different bose devices it's a constant frustration. With this level of frustration I regret going all in on bose devices.
never remembers my devices, womt connect to my headphones when my phone literally is, again never remembers my devices so i have to reconnect every time i open, why would i spend $300++ on products when they cant even develop an app correctly
This application doesn't support android device does show my bose earbuds..
This app is now completely useless. The latest update logged me out and I cannot log back into my account. It sends me to a non-working redirect link to redo a new password. Absolutely pissed right now!
Edit: From reading another users review, signing in causes so many more issues with this app than needed. If you don't sign in it saves a lot of hassle and you don't miss out on anything. Worked initially but now no longer detecting headphones. Stuck on "Searching Nearby..." despite the headphones being connected over Bluetooth already. Even after clearing Bluetooth list on headphones and phone, it still does not detect them over the app. Makes the app entirely useless...

My QC 2 earbuds were working fine until the latest update and now they constantly connect and reconnect. Ive tried everything and read every article i can find to try and fix it but nothing works. they even sent me new Earbuds and they do the same thing!
the app never loads. just buy a different brand of ear buds. seriously it never loads. then it never had your amount. I'm changing brand today
This app is so BAD that's it. If you have it then you know.
Bad app functionality, loads very slowly. It can't find my earbuds that are connected to my phone. I can use the earbuds, but cannot use any of the settings as the app refuses to detect them. Frustrating user experience, especially on the go.
worst app
Using Bose open ear earbuds. Terrible app, actually. I run into more issues with this app than I have for any other headphones app. If I'm paying half a kidney for these earbuds, I'd hope the connectivity actually works
