I bought $80 ear buds through Amazon. they are perfect. Comfortable, affordable, great quality, pair super easy, no extra apps to work (app available but not required). Simple! They are called Nothing X. So tired of big companies charging more money with less quality. Was going to buy a second pair of these. No. Never again.

What’s next, replacing the earcups with peanut butter cups? Bring back the battery levels,cowards.

about twice a year the app forgets my earbuds and i have to go through the setup process again. now I'm trying to go through that and the app keeps locking up on me. when this set dies I'm changing brands all together. the sound is good but I'm unimpressed with the app.

App will not stay logged in for more than one second and has numerous errors. It allowed headphones to be connected and is otherwise useless and over complicating what amounts to a simple Bluetooth connection. My phone is a few years old which per another review may be Bose's issue.

The app and Bose's customer support is terrible. I can't register new products via the app or via a browser. A registered email address can't be changed (ever). If you want to change your email address you lose the order history and have to re-register all products from scratch on the new email address. If you are lucky enough to progress to the final step in the app ie online activation the process fails without remedy. No support online. I spoke to a Brit from support once & she couldn't help

this app is meh in many ways and a turd in others. it logged out. and logging back in, still forgot devices. Other times, it can't find the device I'm listening to on at the time. not quite sure why every company in their mother borderline make an app obligatory, then make it subpar. I love Bose. Ive been using their devices for 10+ years. but the app is dogshit upon further consideration I'd like to give 0 stars

Every week I'm unpairing and repairing, clearing cache, restarting devices, or factory resetting to get my stuff to connect to this stupid app so I can use multiple point connection. With three different bose devices it's a constant frustration. With this level of frustration I regret going all in on bose devices.

Edit: From reading another users review, signing in causes so many more issues with this app than needed. If you don't sign in it saves a lot of hassle and you don't miss out on anything. Worked initially but now no longer detecting headphones. Stuck on "Searching Nearby..." despite the headphones being connected over Bluetooth already. Even after clearing Bluetooth list on headphones and phone, it still does not detect them over the app. Makes the app entirely useless...
