I loved it for years, and I even contributed updates regularly as I commuted. Now it is subscription bleedware for all of the most useful features, including those social features that were so useful. Talk about turning off your longstanding user base.

Charging sub for basic features
MBTA needs to get it together. The Middleborough Lakeville line has been operating 30 minutes behind schedule which is ridiculous especially since they keep raising ticket prices. Unreliable commuter system
I'm cool with paying money for useful products, particularly when it was made to help a community and costs money to upkeep. I'm significantly less cool with using a free app which was clearly designed to build and rely on that social community to maximize effectiveness, and then suddenly and without warning having that app lock me out of anything remotely useful and demanding a monthly tithe. At least try collecting donations or something first. This was a shite way to go about this.
This was the best when it was free.
Insane that for years, I was able to use it for free, and now I have to pay for the same thing.
