Speech to text has not been fixed for android, team unresponsive.
You should look elsewhere. Was one of the best GTD-tool around, but doesn't transcribe voice anymore. Support is non-existent, and company seems to have lost interest in the product. Very sad, 'cause I'd even gladly pay for a functioning version.
It does not transcribe voice to text, it will only send a mp3 file with the recording. support says that they were working on it but that's been a couple weeks and it still isn't fixed. The image quality when taking a picture through the app is also terrible. edit, it is now almost a year later and support does not answer any messages, download another app as this one is terrible!
BrainToss has gone downhill enormously. It used to work brilliantly, now the vast majority of things I send with the app never arrive in my inbox.

Awful. Freezes screen on my phone
I have bought this app, but I can't reinstall it after wiping out my phone.
Poor experience. I paid for this and I cant use my email. Its saying invalid, but its same email I use for this account and still not working.
I don't find this app reliable for note taking. If you don't post the note before the screen goes into saver mode the note disappears.
This worked fantastically well, right up until the point where suddenly emails stopped arriving. After contacting support, I learned that there had been a bug, it had gotten fixed but the workaround for me getting back to a working system will result in losing all the notes that didn't get sent. That's not how a capture tool works. A capture tool needs to be a RELIABLE way to get thoughts out of my head so that I can TRUST that I will get a chance to process those thoughts at a more appropriate time. Braintoss has lost that trust - I will find another way to capture.
Nice concept, but the app doesn't work as it should. My dumps are permanently stuck in queue. Additionally you cannot change the default language, as the list of languages refuses to load. I requested a refund.
Unreliable. Great app, but it fails to send emails so often it is unreliable as a GTD capture tool. Quite often a lot of my messages end up in the queued status.
This was a great app. Just like the Boeing 737 was a great plane. Then came the 737 Max..... Be warned Andriod users. This app has more fuctionality, but is unrealiable. The one thing an app like this needs to be.
If I could give it a zero I would. It only works about 20% of the time. I sent myself a note last night. It never came through to my email. Sent another note to test it out and guess what? The note from last night came through but not the new Note. My email is Gmail and I've checked all the folders including spam. It isn't an organization problem with Gmail, this app just isn't send out all notes. This is hardly a productivity solution if you can't trust the app.
Getting Smart link notification popups all the time now. I don't have a Ford vehicle and I don't see any BT permission options. Need way to turn this off or the app gets deleted.

Horrible App. Everything stays stuck in the Apps queue. Do not purchase. I repeat horrific experience.
Not working. I've not been able to get any notes, pics, or recordings to send. They're just parked in the queue. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Restarted my phone...
Wont let me insert my e mail cant even open the app
Took over 30 hours for my 20 character written note to show up in my email. I expected to receive my braintoss in my email much quicker than that. I'm very disappointed with this purchase. If this is the best this can do, I'd like to have my money back.
Didn't work. Tested. Asking for refund next. RESPONSE to Dev. Simply put it wouldn't send me the emails of the voice recording I created. I didn't want to waste any more time beta testing so I bailed and got my refund. Like the idea. Good luck working it out.
So far this app is essentially worthless. If I write or record a note I just keep getting the "welcome to brain toss" email saying that if the message is in spam I should identify it as a safe email. The actual notes don't show up. I'll be deleting this one.
Utter nonsense. Simply unusable. Notes don't arrive even remotely instantaneously. For me, notes aren't arriving until I send additional notes many hours/days later. This seems to push the previous note through from the server, but the new note won't arrive until some time later when I send another note! I've requested a refund. £2 for this is madness.
Bad sound quality, speech to text doesn't work at all
Downloaded for the voice part only. It is garbled and barely recognizable.
Really disappointed with Braintoss. My hope was very high, but experience very low. Audio quality dreadful, and no text transcription. Result: completely useless. About a week after creating support ticket, no response, not even an automated one. I so wanted this app to work, but it just doesn't. 😟

In the latest version they do get sent but the 'queued' icon remains. This is not good for my OCD as I do not have confirmation that vital info has reached my mailbox.
I am using this app I Android for last 4 months. Have no issue with functionality. But The app launcher icon is missing and it's showing the Android icon, which I don't like. Kindly help in getting the original braintoss icon for Android application.
Didn't accept my email address
Conceptually fine, but messages get queued first and only then send, when you exit the app they only get send upon the next opening (if that), which could make it days later, rendering it unreliable for quick reminder notes. Too bad
Okay-ish app to record notes and forward the transcription to an email address. But quite buggy: whenever I record a note and click the "send" button, it automatically starts recording a new note. Even with the screen turned off. Somehow I eventually got 20 empty voice notes in a few minutes while I was carrying my phone in my pocket.
It didn't work correctly for me; all voice recordings are in (very) slow motion which makes the app useless to me. Immediately asked for a refund. Happy to redownload it if it is fixed :)
Cannot convert voice message to text, wonder how this is more productive and that too for a premium price
Just bought the app and it's not sending me any emails. Checked spam folder and nothing in there either.
Have yet to receive one email even though it shows sent
Used to be a brilliant app. Now, however, tosses can take days to arrive, or until the next toss is sent. Highly unreliable. I uninstalled the app.
