On January 2014 I bought CamCard - BCR (Western) and use it until this year when I changed my phone. I install again the app based on following instruction and is not working again freely. What to do? INTSIG - September 7, 2022 If you purchased the app via Google Play, please log in to Google Play with the same account with which you bought CamCard. The app will be listed as "purchased" on the program list in "my apps" and you can download and install it again freely.
There is no mention that this is a limited version and you need to pay an annual subscription fee to get full functionality. Going to ask for a refund.
WARNING! This app is a Cheap Chinese knockoff of the origional. I bought this app when it was a nothing startup and stuck with them through all the bad updates, failed feature rollouts, and now they're screwing me. ..I did download it from the play store. I had already stated "I bought this app" in the original rating. Now I went from a "Premium customer" to one with ads and limited functionality.

I love this app, and Would keep using it, but unfortunately your rules have changed, when I started using I, you offered a one time purchase fee, which I PAID. Now however, you want a yearly subscription, so have ancelled my premium access, which I PAID for. And demand I pay again yearly now. Well I won't, so I am uninstalling.
So, this app is paid, and yet it asks for subscription. There is a similar (identical) app that is installed for free, providing the same service.
Greed Card should be the new name. You got our money to pay for perpetual license and now you are asking for more money, and it's a subscription model. Avoid avoid and avoid are the top 3 recommendations!
I purchased this app since almost 3 or 4 years+. However, starting from last year they ask money for backup and silly stuff which suppose to be free.
I paid for this app several years ago and now I have to subscribe to sync. Feeling a bit frustrated.

Edit: Even though I had bought a perpetual license, I am expected to pay a subscription now. Old review (4 stars): Very handy app, just upgraded to paid version. Solves the problem of saving and searching through visiting cards. Only issue is with the OCR, which can be improved.

I also had bought a perpetual license a few years ago, it would seem that some companies have no honour. They have changed to a subscription service and are not honouring their agreement. Don't buy the program, they have already demonstrated that they cannot be trusted.
Cheating...i had already bought the application in 2013 as a perpetual liscence.. that should have been honored...
I bought this app and was using it for years. I understand if they introduce new feature to charge for it but not to stop syncing to my Google contacts until I upgrade to premium. Shame on you.

This used to allow the scanned card to be imported into the contact list. Now they are demanding a annual fee.

I too have purchased the app. It worked well and I liked the sync feature with google contacts. NOW THE APP IS NOW ASKING ME TO UPGRADE TO PREMIUM SUBSCRIPTION IN ORDER TO HAVE THE FEATURE I HAD PREVIOUSLY AND PAID FOR THIS IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS IF NOT FRAUD!!! To clarify: No difference between this CamCard Professional and CamCard BCR (Western) versions...- go for the cheaper version....- Does not integrate with LinkedIn ...- Does not allow you to add photos using Web/Browser interface, only via phone app which is tediously and very slow...- Will increase rating if these are addressed...- Could be the best of all available card reader apps! I like the way it links to my personal and work address books, but it doesn't link to LinkedIn which is a shame. I have to manually download an excel file then upload it to LinkedIn or do a manual search. Sort this out and you will get a 5 star rating.

They keep on taking away features and making into premium features even though I already paid for this with the features they had before they took them away. E.g. connecting them to contacts.
Earlier the app was free, I have around 100 contacts in this, now its chargable in app store. There is no other option than making a payment. So new users be careful they may hike the current price anytime.
Still works but no dysfunctional. It has become so cluttered with ads and gimmicks that it is difficult to use.

(Integration is missing). 3) App is intrusive trying to harvest all of your data for other uses. (like Facebook). Good app turned bad. Pity
Very good though not absolutely there. It makes mistakes in almost every card - we have to agree that some cards are not that friendly Update - 25/11/2019 You have been taking features away. Features that i have already paid for!

I've been using this program for some time now and I am pretty impressed with the overall functionality. The updates have reduced the functions of paid app. I use it organize the business cards I receive, it used to sync to my Google contacts, but now I have to sign up for premium package. This is not good!!! Also with note stylus I can crop and share image and it'll extract the info. very dissatisfied.
used to be awesome, now OCR is crappy.
